Abstract

Technological advancements drive e-commerce innovation, including live shopping features that enhance product evaluation and visualization. This study examines the effect of live shopping features on consumers’ purchasing decisions and perceived ease of use. It also tests whether perceived ease of use mediates the relationship between live shopping features and purchasing decisions, and whether trust moderates the relationship between live shopping features and purchasing decisions. A quantitative design is used based on survey data from users experienced with live shopping features, and the data are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the hypotheses. Based on the results of a study involving 100 respondents who are Shopee and Tokopedia consumers, it can be concluded that live shopping does not directly influence consumers’ purchase decisions on either Shopee or Tokopedia. However, live shopping significantly improves consumers’ perceived ease of use on both platforms. Perceived ease of use significantly mediates the relationship between live shopping and purchase decisions only on Tokopedia, whereas no significant mediating effect is found on Shopee. In addition, trust does not significantly moderate the relationship between live shopping and purchase decisions on either platform. Therefore, Tokopedia should continue enhancing the usability of its live shopping features, while Shopee should consider additional strategies beyond usability improvements to encourage consumers’ purchase decisions.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key determinant of organizational success, yet psychological, behavioral, and contextual factors beyond traditional management practices increasingly influence it. This study aims to systematically examine the relationships between financial well-being, agile work behavior, perceived organizational support, and employee performance, with a particular focus on the moderating role of perceived organizational support. A Systematic Literature Review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, analyzing 95 empirical studies published between 2016 and 2026. The findings indicate that agile work behavior consistently shows a positive relationship with employee performance across all reviewed studies, while financial well-being presents mixed and context-dependent effects, ranging from positive to non-significant relationships. Perceived organizational support generally strengthens the relationship between individual resources and performance, although in some contexts it may weaken or not significantly affect these relationships. The synthesis also reveals limited integration of financial well-being, agile work behavior, and perceived organizational support within a single conceptual model and a dominance of cross-sectional research designs. In conclusion, employee performance is shaped by the dynamic interaction of financial conditions, adaptive work behavior, and organizational support, highlighting the need for integrated models and context-sensitive approaches in future research.

Abstract

Trading halts are widely used by stock exchanges as a market intervention mechanism to facilitate information dissemination and maintain orderly trading during periods of uncertainty. This study examines market reactions to trading halt events by analyzing temporal dynamics and cross-sectional heterogeneity, particularly the moderating effect of Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) index inclusion. Using an event study framework combined with panel regression analysis on a sample of 48 stocks, the findings show that trading halts are associated with statistically significant negative abnormal returns over broader event windows and emerge gradually rather than immediately, indicating delayed price discovery. The results further reveal that the negative impact is less pronounced for MSCI stocks, suggesting that global integration mitigates market responses to trading disruptions. In addition, trading volume exhibits a context-dependent role, reflecting short-term market pressure during the event window but a more conventional positive association in the full sample. The study demonstrates that the effects of trading halts are both time-dependent and heterogeneous across firms, highlighting the importance of firm-level characteristics in shaping market responses. These findings have important implications for regulators and investors seeking to understand price adjustment mechanisms during periods of market interruption.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of digital technologies and sustainability-oriented business strategies has encouraged organizations to integrate digital marketing capabilities into their long-term value creation processes. This study analyzes the contribution of digital marketing capability to corporate sustainability and financial performance in the banking and manufacturing sectors. The study applies a systematic literature review method based on the PRISMA 2020 protocol. This study selected and synthesized 23 eligible articles published between 2020 and 2026 through identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion stages. Quality appraisal was conducted using the JBI Critical Appraisal Tool to assess methodological relevance and credibility. The synthesis shows that digital marketing capability has developed from a promotional function into a strategic capability that strengthens data utilization, stakeholder engagement, ESG communication, and sustainable value creation. In the banking sector, fintech adoption and digital banking improve operational efficiency, reduce cost pressure, and strengthen institutional resilience. In the manufacturing sector, digital marketing capability supports green supply chain management, green innovation, and sustainable brand positioning. The findings indicate that digital capability, sustainability integration, and ESG transparency strengthen profitability, firm value, and long-term competitive advantage. This study develops an integrated conceptual understanding based on Resource Orchestration Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Signaling Theory.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created both opportunities and challenges for Islamic financial institutions in expanding financial inclusion. This study examines the role of STAF-based (Shiddiq, Tabligh, Amanah, and Fathanah) digital transformation in enhancing financial inclusion within Islamic Rural Banks (Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah/BPRS) in Indonesia. The research employs a library research approach by reviewing relevant books, scientific journals, institutional reports, and previous studies related to digital transformation, Islamic financial inclusion, and Islamic banking. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and key insights concerning the integration of Islamic ethical values into digital transformation initiatives. The findings indicate that digital transformation contributes significantly to expanding access to financial services, improving operational efficiency, and reaching underserved communities. Furthermore, incorporating STAF values strengthens transparency, communication, accountability, innovation, and customer trust, which are essential to promoting financial inclusion. The study concludes that STAF-based digital transformation provides a value-driven framework that aligns technological advancement with Islamic ethical principles, thereby supporting the sustainable development of BPRS and fostering inclusive financial growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is grounded in the increasing adoption of hybrid work models following digital transformation, which has created new challenges in maintaining employee creativity, collaboration, and innovation. This study examines the influence of digital leadership on employee creativity in hybrid work environments, with psychological safety and knowledge-sharing behavior as sequential mediators. The study employed a quantitative explanatory design using a cross-sectional survey of 200 employees working in hybrid organizations in West Java, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that digital leadership has a significant positive effect on employee creativity, psychological safety, and knowledge-sharing behavior. Psychological safety significantly enhances knowledge-sharing behavior, which in turn strongly predicts employee creativity. Furthermore, the sequential mediation analysis confirms that psychological safety and knowledge-sharing behavior jointly mediate the relationship between digital leadership and employee creativity. These findings suggest that digital leadership fosters creativity not only directly but also through psychological and behavioral mechanisms that support collaborative learning. In conclusion, employee creativity in hybrid environments is largely shaped by an integrated process involving leadership, psychological safety, and knowledge exchange, highlighting the importance of supportive digital leadership practices in modern organizations.

Abstract

Freight management education is still largely dominated by static instructional approaches that provide limited opportunities for students to understand the dynamic nature of logistics systems. As a result, students often struggle to comprehend causal relationships, feedback mechanisms, and the effects of delays on system performance. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of system dynamics-based learning in improving students’ understanding of freight management systems compared with conventional case-based instruction while controlling for prior knowledge. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design involving 32 undergraduate students. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The ANCOVA model explained 78.4% of the variance in post-test scores (R² = 0.784), with prior knowledge having a positive and significant effect on post-test performance. Students who participated in the system dynamics simulation also achieved higher post-test scores than those in the control group, although the treatment effect was only marginally significant. These findings suggest that system dynamics simulation has the potential to strengthen students’ understanding of dynamic freight management concepts and promote systems thinking. Integrating SD simulation into logistics education can therefore complement conventional teaching approaches and better prepare students to address the complexity of real-world logistics systems.

Abstract

The growth of social media has changed consumer purchasing behavior, with Generation Z often delaying purchase decisions despite having easy access to product information, reviews, and recommendations through social commerce. This study aims to examine the factors that influence purchase delay behavior among Generation Z in the context of social commerce. This study employs a quantitative causal-associative design, collecting data through surveys and analyzing them using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings demonstrate that exposure to live streams on TikTok Shop plays a crucial role in triggering purchase delay behavior among Generation Z consumers in Bali Province. The higher the intensity of live stream exposure, the greater consumers’ tendency to postpone purchase decisions as they conduct a more in-depth product evaluation. Live stream exposure also increases product comparison behavior and strengthens the influence of the social environment in the decision-making process. Additionally, product comparison behavior and the influence of the social environment were found to increase the tendency toward purchase postponement. Consumers tend to compare various product alternatives and consider reviews, comments, and recommendations from their social environment before deciding to buy. These two variables were also found to mediate the influence of live stream exposure on purchase postponement behavior.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, businesses face increasing challenges in achieving operational efficiency, social responsibility, and long-term sustainability. Consequently, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices have become a strategic priority, with organizations integrating sustainability into corporate strategies and operational practices, including job crafting. This study investigates the relationship between job crafting and ESG activity recognition, while analyzing the mediating roles of work engagement and innovative organizational culture. This study employed a quantitative research approach using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria. The results indicate that job crafting does not have a significant direct effect on ESG activity recognition. However, work engagement is empirically proven to act as a full mediator in the relationship between job crafting and ESG activity recognition. Conversely, innovative organizational culture does not demonstrate a mediating role in this model, as its effect on ESG activity recognition is not significant. Nevertheless, job crafting contributes significantly and strongly to enhancing work engagement and building an innovative organizational culture within the company. These findings emphasize that employee pro-activity through job crafting can only optimize ESG recognition if it successfully boosts daily work engagement.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has encouraged businesses to adopt digital marketing strategies such as live streaming and influencer reviews to influence consumer purchasing behavior. However, limited studies have examined the mediating role of consumer confidence, particularly in the context of health supplement products characterized by high perceived risk. This study aims to analyze the effects of live streaming and influencer reviews on purchase decisions and investigate the mediating role of consumer confidence. A quantitative approach was employed using an associative research design with purposive sampling. Data were collected from 384 consumers in Medan Denai. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that live streaming significantly influences both purchase decisions and consumer confidence, while influencer reviews significantly enhance consumer confidence but do not directly affect purchase decisions. Consumer confidence significantly influences purchase decisions and mediates the relationships between live streaming, influencer reviews, and purchase decisions. These findings highlight the importance of consumer confidence as a psychological mechanism that transforms digital marketing activities into purchasing behavior. The study contributes to digital marketing literature and provides practical insights for e-commerce businesses in developing strategies that strengthen consumer confidence to improve purchasing decisions.
