Abstract: The toddlersâ€™ growth early detection program in Taman Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post) is monitoring the growth of children under five years using KMS (Road to Health Cards) and monitoring the development of children under five years using the developmental stage of children under five and preschool children. Provided there is no stimulation given stimulation, the brain system will be less-developed leading to the decrease of brain function. This health problem may impair the quality of human resources in the future. The purpose of the research is to analyze the factors associated with the evaluation of the early detection program of toddlersâ€™ growth at Taman Posyandu in Puskesmas (Public Health Center) Lamongan. The populations in this study are 98 Posyandu cadres in the Puskesmas Lamongan working area. This study used univariate and bivariate data analyses, and employed Chi Square test (significance level = 0.05) as the data analysis technique. The results showed that the early detection program ran well (58.2%). Most of the respondents were 48-65 years old (55.1%), highly educated people (67.3%), unemployment (5.2%), people receiving training (77.6%). Chi Square test showed that age (p = 0.026), training (p = 0.000), cadre incentive fund (p = 0,000), Posyandu infrastructure facilities (p = 0,000), manuals of Posyandu activities (p = 0.000) were the variables related to the program implementation. Moreover, the implementation is the variable related to the output range of the early detection program (0,015). Suggestion for this research is the necessity to conduct the training for the cadres to improve the ability to conduct this toddlersâ€™ growth early detection program

Kecamatan Benua Kayong, Kabupaten Ketapang consists of three villages. Predominantly, the people in these villages work as chicken farmers. As chicken farmers, they are required to directly contact with an environment that has the potential for exposure to the disease, such as diarrhea. Diarrheal diseases are environment-linked diseases that are affected by environmental sanitation, the presence of vectors, and human behavior. A preliminary survey showed that 20% chicken farmers suffered from diarrhea in the last three monts. Factors related to the diarrhea are coop sanitation, coop spacing, fly density, clean water resources, personal hygiene.This study aimed at finding out the correlation of correlation of coop sanitation, coop spacing, fly-density, clean water resources, personal hygiene, and diarrhea case. Using analytic observation, as many as 61 respondents participated in thins study. The statistical test used was chi square test (a=5%)The study revealed that there was correlation of clean water resources and diarrhea cases (p = 0,02, PR=1,480). The variables that didnâ€™t correlate with diarrhea cases were coop sanitation, coop spacing, fly-density, and personal hygiene.From the findings, the chicken farmers in Kecamatan Benua Kayong, Kabupaten Ketapang need to pay more attention on factors deal with diarrhea such as livestock barns environmental management, house cleanliness, personal hygiene, and the selection of healthy drinking water for consumption.Â Keywords : coop, sanitation, fly-density, water resources, personal hygiene, diarrhea cases

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) began because of the presence of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries resulting in inhibition of blood flow to the heart muscle. CHD event rates in RSUD Dr. Soedarso Pontianak each year has increased. In 2010 the proportion of CHD of Â 2.99%, an increase in 2011 amounted to 3.38%, and in 2012 amounted to 3.27%. This study aims to determine the risk factors for CHD in Outpatients Heart Clinic RSUD Dr. Sodarso Pontianak. This study uses a case-control design. Study sample, 72 respondents (36 cases and 36 controls) were taken using purposive sampling technique. Using the Chi-square test with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed there is a significant relationship between physical activity Â (p value = 0.001; OR = 6.250, 95% CI = 2.090 to 18.695), the consumption of fried food = 2 times a week (p value = 0.009; OR = 4.02, 95% CI = 1.50 to 10.74), and smoking habits (p value = 0.034; OR = 3.14, 95% CI = 1.19 to 8.24). It is recommended to RSUD Dr. Soedarso Pontianak to establish a health promotion clinic, utilizing the waiting room and open space for education, healthy campaign activities, as well as socialization and supervision No Smoking Area and provide sanctions for violations No Smoking Area hospital.

Penyakit jantung koroner adalah penyebab tunggal terbesar kematian di negara maju dan di negara berkembang. berdasarkan data dari RSUD Dr. Soedarso Pontianak tahun 2017 dari bulan januari â€“ bulan juli tercatat kasus penyakit jantung koroner sebanyak 206 kasus. Selain itu melalui screening kriteria inklusi kasus didapatkan data penyakit jantung koroner sebanyak 56 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian penyakit jantung koroner pada pekerja sektor formal (studi Kasus pada pasien rawat jalan di RSUD Dr. Soedarso Pontianak).Penelitian ini mengunakan desain case control. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 responden (30 kasus dan 30 kontrol) yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah chi-square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara stress kerja (p value= 0,000 ; OR= 10,796 dengan CI 95%=3,263-35,718) dan beban kerja (p value =0,000 ; OR= 16,00 dengan CI 95%=4,515-56,698) dengan kejadian penyakit jantung koroner. Variabel yang tidak berhubungan yaitu aktivitas fisik (p value = 0,313), variabel confounding yaitu riwayat keluarga (p value = 0,117) dan kebiasaan merokok (p value = 0,284Disarankan kepada RSUD Dr.Soedarso Pontianak Memberikan informasi pada masyarakat mengenai faktor risiko yang berhubungan terhadap kejadian PJK, sehingga masyarakat dapat mengetahui dan melakukan pencegahan pada usia sedini mungkin.

Prevalence of drug abuse among students indicated continually increased each year. SMKN 1 Singkawang contributed the highest number of indicated students. There were 2 students in 2012, 1 student in 2013 and 2 students in 2014.This study aimed at finding out the risky behavior of the drug use among students of SMK N I Singkawang.Using analytic survey and cross sectional approach, as many as 278 out of 1008 students of grades X, XII, an XII were selected as the samples of this study. They were chosen by using proportional random sampling. The test used was chi square test, with 95% confidence level.The study revealed that there were significant correlation of smoking behavior (41,336 CI 95%=5,614-81,214 p=0,000) night club visiting behavior (RP=58,109, CI 95%= 10,622-577,838, p=0,00), hang out behavior (RP=9,853 CI 95%= 1,320-73,535, p = 0,007) skipping class behavior (RP=18,847 CI 95%=4,477-79,572), p = 0,000) and alcohol intake behavior (RP=86,894 CI 95%= 19,104-90,260) p= 0,000) .From the findings, the headmaster needs to have a collaboration with the Police Department / National Narcotics Board in socializing the dangers of drug abuse. Also, both head master and teachers are encouraged to be active in monitoring the students, discipline in teaching learning process.Keywords: narcotics, adolescents, the risk of drug use, risky behavior

Background: Typhoid fever is a life-threatening illness caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi. Typhoid and paratyphoid germs are passed in the faeces and urine of infected people. Children are the most vulnerable groups affected by typhoid fever. In 2014 (January-May), as many as 118 cases of typhoid fever occurred at work area of Puskesmas Sui Kakap. It was the highest rate of typhoid cases. Meanwhile, Puskesmas Sui Durian ranked the third of typhoid fever case. As many as 49 cases took place in 2014 (January-May).Aim: This study aimed to find out the correlation of typhoid fever cases in children at work area of Sui Kakap and Sui Durian public health centers.Method: A case control design was carried out in this study. The respondents were 50 children; 25 case group and 25 control group. They were selected by using simple random sampling. Then the data were statistically analyzed by using chi square test with the validity level of 95%.Result: The study revealed two findings. First, there were significant correlation of hand washing after defecation (p value= 0,024; OR=4,846), heating food habits (p value= 0,024; OR =3,77), instant food consumption (p value= 0,031; OR= 4,12), and typhoid fever in children. Second, there were no correlation of vegetables and fruits intake (p value =0,771), food presentation (p value= 0,702), and drinking water boiling method (p value=0,744).Suggestion: As a result, to avoid typhoid fever in children, parents should ask their children to wash their hands properly, direct them to pick healthy snacks, and heat the food before consumption (max. 6 hours after the initial cooking).Keywords: Typhoid, children, hand washing.

Pola makan adalah suatu cara atau usaha dalam pengaturan jumlah dan jenis makanan dengan informasi gambaran yang meliputi mempertahankan kesehatan, status nutrisi, mencegah atau membantu kesembuhan penyakit. Pola makan dan gaya hidup telah membuat masyarakat dihadapi masalah gizi ganda. Kelebihan dan kekurangan gizi dapat menimbulkan penyakit menular maupun penyakit degeneratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Faktor– faktor yang berhubungan dengan pola makan pada Mahasiswa program studi S1 Kesehatan Masyarakat di STIKes Kharisma Persada Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan menggunakan desain studi potong lintang (cross sectional). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode probability sampling dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa, Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai P Value > 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola makan dengan uang saku, pengetahuan gizi, jenis kelamin, sikap pemenuhan zat gizi, aktivitas, dan tempat tinggal. Saran: Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan institusi pendidikan dapat meningkatkan dan menentukan berbagai program penelitian yang dapat menyebar luaskan informasi tentang pola makan yang baik dan meminimalkan penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh pola makan yang kurang baik pada mahasiswa.

Pertumbuhan mikroorganisme dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan seperti temperatur, kelembaban, pencahayaan, luas ruangan, kebersihan ruangan dan ventilasi. Hal ini menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan terhadap pasien, pengunjung, pekerja medis dan non medis mengalami infeksi nosokomial yang bersumber dari lingkungan rumah sakit.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkungan fisik dan standar luas ruangan dengan mikrobiologi udara di ruang rawat inap.Metode : Penalitian ini adalah penelitian secara observasional yang bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ruang rawat inap yang ada di rumah sakit Bhayangkara dengan total 28 ruang rawat inap (pavilion, kelas 1, kelas 2, kelas 3).Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Hasil : Hasil uji statstik dengan menggunakan Chi-square menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara temperatur (p= 0,006), kelembaban (p=0,015) dengan mikrobiologi udara. Dan tidak ada hubungan pencahayaan (p=0,063), standar luas ruangan (p=0,434) dengan mikrobiologi udaraÂ di ruang rawat inap.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Saran : Untuk ruangan yang ber-AC ditambah dengan menggunakan exhauster fan untuk menghisap udara di dalam ruangan dan dibuang keluar pada saat bersamaan menarik udara segar dari luar ruangan melalui filter.

Early marriage is a formal marriage or informal union entered into by an adolescent girl before reaching the age of 20. Based on the health, psychological, economic, and social aspects this age is considered too early to get married. From 2011 to 2013, Kecamatan Selakau, Kabupaten Sambas contributed the highest number of fertile couples. There were 1826 (0.06%) fertile couples in 2011, 1743 (0.05%) fertile couples in 2012, and 1759 (0.05%) fertile couples in 2013. The study aimed at identifying the influential factors of early marriage in adolescent girls aged 10-19 in Kecamatan Selakau, kabupaten Sambas.Using case control design, this study employed 44 samples (22 samples of case group and 22 samples of control group). The samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The test used was chi square test, with 95% confidence level. The study revealed that there were significant correlation of education (p value= 0,021, OR= 12,000, 95% CI= 1,348-106,803), motivation to continue study (p value= 0,000, OR= 16,889, 95% CI= 3,631-78,560), porn media (p value= 0,001, OR= 12,000, 95% CI= 2,862-50,306), knowledge (p value= 0,032, OR= 4,911, 95% CI= 1,325-18,205), and early marriage. On the other hand, the variable that didnâ€™t correlate with early marriage was parentâ€™s income (p value= 1,000, OR= 0,633, 95% CI= 0,095-4,218).From the findings, to reduce the early marriage cases, National Family Planning Coordinating Board of West Kalimantan is encouraged to provide both adolescent girls and parents information about reproductive health.Key words : Early marriage, Adolescents, Education, Knowledge, Porn media

Limbah cair tahu mengandung padatan tersuspensi maupun terlarut, padatan tersuspensi dapat mengurangi penetrasi sinar matahari ke dalam air, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi regenerasi oksigen dan fotosintesis. Pengendapan dan penguraian bahan-bahan organik dapat juga mengurangi kualitas perairan yang akan mempengaruhi kekeruhan air. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini mengenai berapa efektivitas penambahan serbuk biji asam jawa dalam menurunkan kadar TSS pada limbah cair tahu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penambahan serbuk biji asam jawa (tamarindus indica) dalam menurunkan TSS limbah cair tahu, mengukur nilai TSS limbah cair tahu sebelum dan setelah penambahan serbuk biji asam jawa dan mengukur efektivitas dosis 300 mg/l, 400 mg/l, 500 mg/l, 600 mg/l dan 700 mg/l serbuk biji asam jawa yang paling optimal dalam menurunkan TSS limbah cair tahu. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen, menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment design) denganrancangan one group pretest posttest. Jumlah total sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 30 limbah cair tahu. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Lingkungan Poltekes untuk dilakukan uji jartest dan selanjutnya sampel di analisis di Laboratorium Kualitas dan Kesehatan Lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada penurunan nilai TSS sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Nilai TSS limbah cair tahu sebelum ditambahkan koagulan serbuk biji asam jawa sebesar 2937,6 mg/l dan setelah penambahan koagulan serbuk biji asam jawa menjadi 1401,6 mg/l. Dosis serbuk biji asam jawa yang paling optimal dalam menurunkan kadar TSS limbah cair tahu adalah dosis 600 mg/l dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 54,104%.
