Considering the mismatch and the high computational complexity of video mosaicing, a fast stitching method based on the normalized covariance is proposed. Firstly, the image corner features are extracted using the SURF algorithm and the corresponding matching points are found using the nearest neighbor method. The least square method is used to filter the matching points and accurately match the point-pair. And then, the homography matrix is got and can be used in finding the overlapping area of two images. The optimal homography matrix is obtained according to the normalization covariance and the bidirectional matching by which the video mosaicing is finished. Finally, the bilinear interpolation algorithm and the weighted average method are used to get a realistic and seamless image that retains high image resolution. The experimental results show that this algorithm can obtain better parameters estimation values and has smaller calculations as well as good robustness so as to stitch the video fast and seamlessly. Insulator fault may lead to the accident of power network, thus the on-line monitoring of insulator is very significant. Low rates wireless network is used for data transmission of leakage current. Determination of the measurement matrix is the significant step for realizing the compressed sensing theory. This article comes up with new sparse matrices which can be used as compressed sensing matrices to make data compression and reconstruction of leakage current with the compressed sensing. This theory can achieve pretty good results. And then this article performs that the reconstitution effect is almost the same using the measurement matrix of Toeplitz matrix, circulant matrix or sparse matrix, as using a classical measurement matrix. In this paper cost function and reliability analysis of classic novel symmetric multilevel inverter topology has been presented. Cost function and reliability analysis are the economical factors of the effieciency of an inverter, this made the intrest in this area.cost function deneotes the cost of the inverter based on the power flow, reliability explain the mean time failure propotional to the life span. Firstly the cost function of the novel topology has been proposed using mathematical calculation using various current rating and the results are validated compared with exiting topology. Secondly reliability approach is used to evaluate the reliability of the switch with respect to the failure rate and mean time period of the switch using fedis and markow reliability analysis equations and the results are evaluated for all the switches present in the topology. And the results are the compared with the conventional multilevel inverter, cost function and reliability analysis of the proposed multilevel inverter.

Functionality, usability, and pleasure are the three elements that influence consumers decision-making and behavioral intentions. This study attempts to fill in the gap in the web design literature by justifying the Kansei-based engineering technique by embedding emotional cues in Higher Learning website designs. This study aims to test the effectiveness of a Kansei-based website that was designed in accordance with the Kansei-based standards for web design. Using an online Geneva Emotion Wheel survey, the results suggest that the Kansei-based website elicit favorable positive emotion from users

The incentive power market may lead to a high information cost if it is not informationally efficient. The paper analyzes the characteristic of the generation side power market mechanism model based on the designing economic mechanisms theory by the three GENCOs (Generation Companies) case. The result of analysis is that the mechanism model has four main features: the informationally efficient which means that the mechanism meets requirements of the observational efficiency, the communication efficiency and the low complexity of computing; the incentive compatibility which indicates that the resource allocation of the power market is Pareto Optimality and the social benefit achieves the maximization when GENCOs also achieve profit maximization; the decentralized decision which refers to preserving the privacy information of GENCOs; encouragement of competition which suggests that the mechanism encourages GENCOs to compete with each other healthily. It is crucial to segment characters correctly and improve rate of correct character recognition when processing automobile license plates corrections. In this paper, two algorithms are proposed to obtain the horizontal tilt and vertical shear angles. The transformation matrix for images rectification is given and the subpixel issue is solved. Some experiments were done to test the algorithms. Experimental results show that the algorithm is robust, flexible and effective.DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i1.3097

The paper proposes a new general method for producing a multilevel permutation functioning as an m-tree traversal. It is composed of two basic steps: a random number generator of period length equal m to determine which child to traverse, and recursive permutation in which permutated the subtree if found. The test results proved that the suggested method of permutation is successful depending on the correlation measure.

Power systems are subjected to a wide range of small or large disturbances during operating conditions. Power system disturbances such as line switching, generator disconnection and sudden removal of faults causes oscillations in an electrical machine rotor angles that can result in severe power swings. Depending on the protection controls, the system may remain stable or unstable and it may result in loss of synchronism. In recent years, distance relay finds difficulty between symmetrical fault and power swing which causes undesired tripping of the transmission line is the foremost reason for blackout. This paper proposes a new method Park’s Transformation and Fast Fourier Transform which are used to discriminate between the three phase fault and power swing and also to protect the backup zone of distance relay. This method is verified for normal and abnormal conditions with different load angles and different fault locations in IEEE 6-bus system are simulated in MATLAB/ Simulink. The Simulation results show the capability to avoid unwanted tripping decision of relay quickly and precisely.

This paper presents a robust image watermarking scheme based on optimization Statistics. This method aims to select a feature space, which has the greatest robustness against various attacks after watermarked. We separately obtain the feature spaces through calculating the statistical property of the digital image. Passing spaces decomposing and reconstructing of the feature spaces, constructing the embedding matrix, we obtain that the robustness of the approach lies in hiding a watermark in the subspace that is the least susceptible to potential modification; and realize the optimization statistics of the embedding watermark. Through analysis and constraint the conditions of subspace, the algorithm we proposed can obtain a high detection probability and security, a low false alarm probability. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is robust against a kind of attacks. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3142
