Abstract

This article will discuss optimizing the employee orientation and placement system to increase productivity at Cirebon Private Chicken. The two-month orientation program aims to accelerate the adaptation of new employees and enhance their understanding of the company culture and job responsibilities. The main problem found was the lack of regular evaluation of the program's effectiveness, making it difficult to identify aspects that needed improvement. In addition, the mismatch of employees' skills with their assigned positions led to inefficiency and decreased productivity. The results showed that regular evaluation is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of onboarding and to adapt the program to the diverse experience levels of employees. Competency-based selection can also improve the match between skills and job positions, ensuring that employees are placed in roles that align with their strengths and expertise. Furthermore, the utilization of technology in HR management, such as digital systems for performance monitoring and e-learning in onboarding, can enhance efficiency and engagement. The integration of gamification in training programs can further motivate employees, leading to higher commitment and productivity. Using a qualitative approach, this article explores issues in employee onboarding and placement and provides ways to optimize competency-based strategies and technology to make a work environment more productive and positive.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) in supporting the economy of the Muslim community in Lebbae Village, Ajangale District. The main issues addressed are the effectiveness of BPNT in reducing the economic burden of beneficiary families (KPM) and the accuracy of the aid distribution targets. The aim of this research is to describe BPNT's contribution to improving the economic welfare of the local community and to identify obstacles in its implementation. Using a field research method with a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with KPM, the Village Head, and the Head of the Social Affairs Division, as well as documentation. The results show that BPNT helps reduce household food expenditures, increases the economic security of families, and stimulates local economic activity through e-warong (electronic stalls). However, challenges remain, such as limited food variety and uneven distribution among beneficiaries. In conclusion, BPNT has a positive impact on the economy of the Muslim community in Lebbae Village, although improvements in implementation are needed to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

The influence of price, quality, and promotion on the purchase of Sabdo Palon syrup proves that price is the strongest variable in influencing the purchase of herbal products[2]. In addition, price refers to the financial aspects required to achieve the stated goals. Coffee is one of Indonesia's export commodities. Kopi Kenangan is a coffee brand originating from Indonesia and is currently starting to enter the international market. With strong branding, Kopi Kenangan has succeeded in attracting consumers. The TikTok application is one of the social media used by Kopi Kenangan to reach consumers. On TikTok there is an affiliate program that is of interest to users, seeing this gap, Kopi Kenangan opened an offer as their affiliate by including a yellow basket on videos made by TikTok users. Based on this, the author examines the effect of product quality, price and promotion on the decision to purchase Kopi Kenangan through the Tiktok yellow basket. The results of this study state that the promotion and price variables are determining factors for the decision to purchase Kopi Kenangan

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the impact of Work Life Quality and Job Discipline on Staff Performance at the UPTD Seed Certification unit under the Food Security, Food Crops, and Horticulture Agency of North Sumatra Province. The investigation was initiated due to underwhelming staff output, insufficient work life standards, and weak discipline levels identified within the organization. Employing a quantitative methodology, the study involved 70 government employees as participants through a total sampling technique. Data were gathered using observation, interviews, structured questionnaires, and literature review, and analyzed through validity and consistency assessments, classical assumption testing, and multiple regression modeling. The results indicated that both Work Life Quality and Workplace Discipline significantly affect staff output, both individually and collectively. It is therefore suggested that initiatives to enhance working conditions and employee compliance be prioritized to boost overall performance within the entity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how marketing video content and product reviews found on the TikTok platform influence consumers' purchase intentions toward Ventela brand shoes in their vicinity. TikTok, as a short-form video-based social media platform, can influence users through engaging and interactive visual content. This research employs a quantitative method using IBM SPSS Version 3.0 and involves 52 respondents who actively use TikTok. Data was gathered by means of a survey. Validity tests, partial tests (t-tests), and linear regression analysis were used to assess each variable's impact. The findings show that while product reviews do not significantly affect purchase intention (significance value 0.253 > 0.05), marketing video material does (significance value 0.001 < 0.05). Y = 1.544 + 0.816X1 + 0.144X2 + e. is the equation derived from the linear regression test. The results indicate that video-based marketing strategies are more successful than product reviews alone at generating customer interest in making purchases. As a result, brands are encouraged to improve the quality of their video content and pair it with reliable product reviews to boost the efficacy of their digital marketing strategies. This study found that video content on TikTok significantly influences consumers’ intention to purchase local products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), Travel Motivation, dan Moral Reflectiveness terhadap intensi Generasi Z (Gen Z) untuk mengunjungi destinasi pariwisata berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 114 responden Gen Z (kelahiran 1997–2008). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM dan Moral Reflectiveness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi Gen Z untuk mengunjungi destinasi pariwisata berkelanjutan, dengan nilai p-value masing-masing sebesar 0,002 dan 0,001. Sebaliknya, Travel Motivation tidak berpengaruh signifikan (p-value = 0,577). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa informasi digital (E-WOM) dan Moral Reflectiveness menjadi faktor dominan dalam membentuk preferensi Gen Z terhadap pariwisata berkelanjutan, sementara Travel Motivation tidak secara langsung mendorong intensi tersebut. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi pemasaran berbasis ulasan digital dan edukasi nilai-nilai keberlanjutan untuk menarik minat Gen Z. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam memahami perilaku Gen Z serta implikasi praktis bagi pengelola destinasi dan pemangku kebijakan pariwisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This aim to determine the effect of Apparatus Competence, Whistleblowing, and Internal Control System on Fraud Prevention in Village Fund Management with Organizational Commitment as a Moderating Variable in Siantar District Simalungun Regency. This type of research is quantitative research using primary data. The population in this study was all village officials in the village in Siantar District with the sample determined using the purposive sampling method, totaling 85 respondents. The results of this research individually show that Apparatus Competence, Whistleblowing, and Internal Control System have a positive and significant effect on Fraud Prevention In Village Fund Management. Apparatus Competence, Whistleblowing, and Internal Control System simultaneously have a significant effect on Fraud Prevention In Village Fund Management. And Organizational Commitment as a moderating variable can strengthen the relation of Apparatus Competence, Whistleblowing, and Internal Control System on Fraud Prevention in Village Fund Management. Abstract

Business paradigm shifts caused by advances in digital markets and technology bring both opportunities and challenges. The purpose of this research is to identify the importance of risk mitigation strategies in increasing the returns of startup companies in the digital economy era. In addition, this research emphasizes the importance of risk management, especially with historical financial statement data such as Return on Investment (ROI), in assessing the performance and prospects of startup investments. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using literature studies. The Miles & Huberman model was used for data analysis, including phases, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the risks commonly faced by startup companies in this digital economy era include financial risk, technology risk, market risk, regulatory risk, and human resource risk. A good risk mitigation strategy is the key to achieving sustainable growth and optimal returns, so as to increase investor confidence to reduce losses and encourage sustainable growth. In addition, startups that carry out proactive risk management can remain competitive, creative, and have the ability to provide optimal value and profit in the midst of current digital market dynamics.

Abstract

This quantitative study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance, with organizational culture as a mediating variable. The sample consisted of 64 civil servants in the Economic Bureau and Development Administration Bureau (Adbang) of the Office of the Governor of North Sumatra Province. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed with multiple regression and mediation tests using SPSS. The results showed: (1) leadership style has a positive-significant effect on performance; (2) organizational culture has a positive-significant effect on performance; (3) leadership style influences organizational culture; and (4) organizational culture acts as a mediator in the leadership style-performance relationship. These findings confirm the need to strengthen transformational leadership style and organizational culture values to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This paper discusses the implementation of the made by order system in increasing consumer demand from the perspective of Islamic marketing (a case study at Lamone Coffee Shop). The main issues examined are the application of the made by order system in boosting demand and customer perceptions of its implementation at Lamone Coffee Shop. This study uses a qualitative field research method with an Islamic economic and marketing approach. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with the business owner, employees, and customers. The findings indicate that the implementation of the made by order system has a positive effect on increasing consumer demand due to its personalized services tailored to customer preferences. The business owner noted that this system improves operational efficiency, although challenges remain regarding the availability of raw materials which may affect production time. Overall, this system adds value to service quality and aligns with the principles of Islamic marketing, which are based on the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (ṣiddiq, amānah, fatānah, tablīgh, and istiqāmah). This paper is expected to contribute to the development of scientific knowledge in general and Islamic studies in particular.
