Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif berbantukan media facebook, pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Keaktifan siswa dapat dilihat dari aktivitas belajar siswa di facebook dan aktivitas pembelajaran kooperatif siswa di kelas dengan melakukan observasi terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut melalui lembar observasi.Respon siswa dapat dilihat melalui angket yang berjumlah 9 item dengan pilihan jawaban “ya” atau “tidak”. Subjek Penelitian adalah Siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Kota Sukabumi pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan pada saat pembelajaran di facebook masih didominasi oleh siswa yang kurang aktif dengan prosentase 63%, kemudian siswa yang cukup aktif 20% dan siswa yang sangat aktif dengan prosentase 17%. Sedangkan keaktifan siswa dalam kelompoknya pada pembelajaran kooperatif melalui 3 kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu :Groovie di linkungan tercemar, Diskusi, dan Presentasi. Dengan rata-rata nilai kelompok untuk semua kegiatan adalah 2.97 dari skor maksimal 4.Selanjutnya, siswa merespon postif pada pembelajaran ini dengan prosentase rata-rata dari semua item pertanyaan adalah 79.95%, artinya siswa menyukai pembelajaran kooperatif yang berbantukan media facebook.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cara penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery, untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar sains. Penelitian dilaksanakan di RSD-BI Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda Bekasi, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas 2 yang berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart, dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, implementasi tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi tindakan. Proses pengumpulan data melalui tes keterampilan dasar sains, dan non tes berupa hasil observasi pelaksanaan metode penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery) menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan hasil dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dasar sains siswa, khususnya tentang ciri-ciri dan perubahan wujud benda padat dan benda cair dengan menggunakan metode penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery) dengan teknik bermain. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil tes siswa pada siklus I yaitu 60% siswa yang tuntas, meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 95% siswa yang tuntas,dan peningkatan hasil nilai keterampilan dasar sains dari 69 % di siklus I meningkat menjadi 92% di siklus II. Aktivitas guru dan siswa sesuai dengan langkah-langkah metode ini mencapai 100% (mastery learning) pada akhir siklus II. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan metode penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery), membuat siswa antusias dan lebih aktif belajar sesuai dengan perkembangan usianya. Guru dapat mengembangkan metode ini secara inovatif sesuai kebutuhan siswa, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi dinamis dan bermakna.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman siswa kelas VII tentang materi kimia diakibatkan oleh kondisi pembelajaran khususnya yang berkenaan dengan metode atau strategi pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data daya serap siswa kelas VIIE di SMP 1 Kebonpedes pada materi sebelumnya yang telah diajarkan, menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar siswa jauh dari yang diharapkan. Sekitar 70% siswa belum mencapai nilai KKM dan 30% siswa sudah mencapai KKM. Untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran ini perlu adanya kegiatan yang memanfaatkan berbagai metode, antara lain metode praktikum agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Kegiatan praktikum memberikan peluang kepada siswa untuk memperdalam pemahaman terhadap materi yang diajarkan, mengembangkan ketrampilan kerja serta menumbuhkembangkan sikap ilmiah pada diri siswa khususnya pada materi kimia. Berdasarkan latar belakang penelitian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi Asam dan Basa di kelas VII E SMPN 1 Kebonpedes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pembelajaran dengan metode praktikum dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VII E SMPN 1 Kebonpedes pada materi Asam dan Basa, terbukti dengan hasil skor penilaian prestasi meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Disamping itu pembelajaran ini ternyata dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa diukur dari keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan metode praktikum meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Disarankan kepada guru agar menggunakan metode praktikum untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi , khususnya kepada guru yang memiliki karakteristik siswa dan materi sejenis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi struktur jaringan tumbuhan dan hewan pada siswa kelas XI SMA dengan menggunakan media Biology Quartet Card (BQC). Metode Penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 orang siswa di kelas XI IPA SMAN 4 Kota Sukabumi. Instrumen penelitian mengggunakan kuesioner motivasi serta soal penguasaan konsep dengan bentuk soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata motivasi siswa sebesar 73,5 dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan BQC. Adapun untuk perolehan nilai penguasaan konsep siswa secara keseluruhan nilai rata-rata pada siklus 1 sebesar 48,08 dan siklus dua meningkat menjadi 70,41.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the relationship between teacher motivation and students' reading interest in SMPN 12 Kota Sukabumi. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The subjects of this study were 30 grade VII. Sampling in this study uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The data obtained is then processed. The result shows that there is a relationship between the motivation of the teacher and the reading interest of students in SMPN 12 Kota Sukabumi with a magnitude of 76%, this is evidenced by obtaining a correlation number of 0, 97 and the t test value obtained that t count> 21.11> 2.05, with a significant level of 0.05. In addition, because in this study obtained the results of tcount greater than t table, then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) submitted is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that from this whole study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the motivation of the teacher and reading interest of the seventh grade students at SMPN 12 Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes Through Application of Jigsaw Learning Model In Grade V Students SDN Baros 3 Sukabumi City. Research with a classroom action research approach is carried out collaboratively and two cycles. The main purpose of this research is to know the improvement of learning result of grade V students of SDN Baros 3 Kota Sukabumi in Mathematics subject with Jigsaw learning model implementation. The research was conducted at SDN Baros 3 of Sukabumi City which was conducted in the first semester of September 2011. The subjects of this study were teachers, and grade 5 students of SDN Baros 3 Kota Sukabumi were 33 students. The results showed that the average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle I meeting that reached 51.51% completeness with an average value of 63.33 then increased in cycle I meeting II which reaches completeness 81.81% with an average value of 66.06 Then increase again in cycle II which reached 93.93% completeness with an average score of 70.33. This research concludes that the application of Jigsaw learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students SDN Baros 3 Sukabumi City In addition, the application of this learning model can improve the speed, participation, cooperation and accuracy of students in the learning process.

Abstract

The problem of this study is that there is still a lack of students' skills in dribbling, such as many violations when dribbling (illegal dribbling), still seeing the ball when dribbling (not automatic), this study aims to determine the results of dribbling skills after being treated in the form of ballhandling and training using a small ball at Hayatan Thayyiban Middle School. The design used in this study is experimental, data collection using tests, the instrument used is a test of dribbling ability, which is a test to determine students' ability to dribbling basketball. Sample in the study were 22 extracurricular students and divided into two groups, group A (ballhandling) and group B (using small balls), data analysis techniques used t-test analysis (t test), through tests of normality and homogeneity. The results of the hypothesis testing of the t-test 1) There is the effect of ballhandling exercises with t-count (3.84)> t table (1.72) at the significance level α 0.05. an increase of 79 points from 120 to 145. 2) There is an effect of using small balls exercises with t-count (3.79)> t table (1.72) at a significant level of α 0.05. an increase of 81 points from 727 to 808. The conclusions in this study are: 1) there is the effect of ballhandling training on basketball dribbling skills at Hayatan Thayyibah Middle School. 2) there is the effect of using training on using small balls on Hayatan Thayyibah basketball dribbling skills. 3) training in using small balls has more influence on basketball dribbling skills in Hayatan Thayyibah junior high school extracurricular.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the assignment learning method can improve physical education learning outcomes in floor gymnastic learning material in class XI IPS 2 students at SMAN 2 Sukabumi.This study used the class action research method (PTK) which was conducted in one cycle for students of class XI IPS 2 in SMA N 2 Sukabumi City, amounting to 34 students from January 24, 2019 to March 21, 2019.Student learning outcomes were assessed from all three aspects, the first psychomotor aspects with an average value of 23.91, for cognitive assessment with an average of 9.26, and for affective assessment with an average of 28.55, as well as the results of classroom observations for lecturers PDS and physical education teachers with an average score of 71.12, while the results of classroom observations for XI IPS 2 students have an average of 51.75.The results of this study indicate that the assignment learning method increased in the affective aspects of floor gymnastic learning which had an impact on sense of responsibility, cooperation, and mutual help on assignments given during floor gymnastics to class XI IPS 2 students of SMA N 2 Sukabumi City seen from increasing the affective value of the front bolster material, back rolling and wheel / propeller.

Abstract

This research based on unoptimal gain of fourth grade elementary school students average score in science, which is the 65 point of minimum score couldn’t be reach by the students, especially in subject function of plant’s parts. Conventional learning approach has conclude as one of many indicator that the students learning activity have not improve better and it cause learning result become unoptimal. The aims of the research are; 1) to describe science learning plan using inquiry method, 2) to describe science learning activities using using inquiry method, 3) to describe student learning result improvement using inquiry method for science subject. This research approach is Classroom Action Research has adopted Kemmis & McTaggart method through 3 (three) cycles of learning. The subjects of the research are 40 students of 4th grade Babakan Bandung Elementary School. The research conludes of 1st cycle that is students score average just reach 54.86. On 2nd cycle has rised to 69.46, then on 3rd cycle has rised significantly to 80.54. According to the score average result, inquiry Method implementation has able to improve the students score of science optimally.

Abstract

Basket ball is a sport group consisting of two teams, 5 people for each team. The puprose of the game is to get as many points as possible by entering the ball into the opponent's ring. This study has a purpose, namely to find out the effect of training to use tools on chest pass skills. And to find out using net tools, car tires and targets for chest pass skills at 1 Junior High School.This research used quasi-experimental design used "One Groups Pretest-Postest Design". The research design that has a pretest before being treat and posttest after being treated. Test results data analyzed through normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test (t test) using Microsoft Excel 2010 application to find out the results of the study.Based on data analysis, this study shows that is a significant influence between training using tools, car tires and targets on basketball extracurricular applications at Sukabumi 1 Junior High School. This is evidenced by the fact that t count is 9.150> 1.71 (t-table) and the magnitude of significance value p 1441.0 <0.05. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of training using a tool for chest pass. When viewed from the Mean number of 6.68, this shows that there is an effect of training using a tool for chest pass skills.
