Abstract

The phenomenon of the shackles of people with mental disorders is still common in society. The rights of people with mental disorders are still often ignored. People with mental disorders need the support of a caregiver to live a normal life as usual. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause shackles for people with mental disorders and forms of caregiver support to restore the health of people with mental disorders. The research location is in the Bima district. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Collecting data using in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Informants in this study are caregivers who treat people with mental disorders. The results showed that the cause of being shackled was because people with mental disorders often roamed around, often resorted to violence, often did the damage, and often carried sharp weapons. The purpose of the shackles is to keep the person with the disorder safe and others around him. Caregiver support in restoring the health of people with mental disorders has not been maximized. Caregiver only feeds and drinks. No medical action is taken to restore the mental health of people with mental disorders. Most of the actions still use the traditional approach, which is taken to a shaman or psychic.

Abstract

Chronic renal failure (CKD) is a disorder of kidney function in regulating fluid and electrolyte balance and loss of power in metabolic processes. Hemodialysis is a medical procedure performed for chronic kidney failure. Hemodialysis can have an impact on the patient's psychology, one of which is anxiety which will affect physical, social and spiritual health. Several factors that cause anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis include age, gender, education level, patient experience undergoing treatment, length of therapy. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of anxiety based on the characteristics of patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan in 2021. This study was a descriptive study. consecutive sampling which amounted to 74 respondents according to the inclusion criteria. Data analysis used univariate analysis. The research instrument uses a questionnaireZung Self- Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). The study showed that all chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis were at a mild anxiety level of 75.7%, which was mostly experienced by the elderly group aged 46-65 years 69.6%, male 73.2%, secondary education 48,2%, undergoing hemodialysis >6 months 92.9%, private employee work 25.0%, and type of financing BPJS 100%. This study illustrates that the anxiety level of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis is influenced by characteristics such as age, gender, education, duration of hemodialysis, occupation and type of financing. It is recommended that hospitals provide services that can minimize the anxiety level of hemodialysis patients.

Abstract

A study was done in analyzing the inhibitory activity of green tea ethanol extracts against Escherichia coli. The green tea is sourced from a tea plantation in Sidamanik, North Sumatra. The green tea was macerated with ethanol 96 % for 24 hours. After that, the filtrate was taken and then concentrated to give a concentrated extract and evaporated ethanol content until run out and obtained thick extract. The thick extract was then diluted with distilled water to extract 5%, 10%, and 15% concentration variations. The test method for inhibitory activity was the disc method using distilled water as a negative blank. The results obtained with blank, 5%, 10% and 15% green tea were 0. 5.7; 7.10, and 8.05 mm The conclusion of this study is that the concentration of the extract is directly proportional to its inhibitory power, and can be used as an antibacterial agent against E. coli.

Emergency in toddlers with febrile seizures at the Rami Pematangsiantar Health Center in 2021. Abstract

Breast milk is the first and foreive food that is best for babies. The thing that needs to be consideres by post partum mother giving breast milk to the baby is by consuming fruit and vegetables that can increase the amount of breast milk. Banana Blossom contains lactogogum which has performance stimulating oxytocin and prolactin hormones such as alkaloids, polyphenols, steroids, flavonoids, which are effective in increasing breast milk production. In this case, researchers conducted nonpharmacological studies such as Banana Blossom consumption. This research aims to find out the effect of Banana Blossom consumption on increased breast milk production in post partum in Clinic Muriati Kisaran. The method used is the Quasi eksperiment method with the research design of one group pretest postest. The samples in this study were as many as 20 post partum in clinik murniati kisaran, using total sampling techniques. Data collection is carried out in the form of observation. The statistical test used is the t test. The results showed that there was an influence increase in breast milk production in post partum mothers after consuming banana blossoms with a value of P-Value of 0,012 < 0,05. Based on the results of the study, the increase in breast milk production in the mother occurred because the content found in the heart of bananas is lactogogum which has the performance of stimulating oxytocin hormones and prolactin alkaloids, polyphenols, steroids, and flavonoids in increasing the production of breast milk.

Abstract

The lactation process can be problematic due to various factors. These factors can come from the mother, baby, management of breastfeeding and other factors. Factors from the mother can be caused by problems with the anatomy of the mother's breasts and nipples, conditions or diseases suffered by the mother. The failure of the lactation management process can also be caused by the mother's lack of exposure to information on how to breastfeed properly. This research is a quasi-experimental research. It took place from September to February 2022. This study involved 34 breastfeeding mothers and one of the active families, usually as decision makers in that family. This study uses a questionnaire. After that, the intervention of lactation massage and endoprin was given. This study used total sampling and using the McNemar TEST the results were 0.016 < 0.05, so it can be said that there were differences in lactation problems between before and after the intervention. The results of his research, the majority of family representatives strongly agree that they play a role in the success of breastfeeding mothers. In addition, they also need a face-to-face discussion group with health workers about breastfeeding. In carrying out its role as a mother, there are also two main obstacles faced by families in helping breastfeeding mothers, namely less breast milk and mothers who are shy about lactation massage and endhoprin. It is hoped that there will be further research related to how big the survey of the target community for lactation massage and endoprine

Abstract

The cadre's lack of understanding about KSPR is an obstacle to collaboration between midwives and cadres in carrying out early detection of pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of knowledge of cadres about the Poedji Rochjati score card on the implementation of KSPR scoring on pregnant women in Jatisari Geger Village, Madiun. The research design used a cross sectional analytic survey. The population of all cadres in Jatisari Geger Village is 35 people, with a sample of 33 cadres. Sampling with simple random sampling technique with chi square test. SPSS output, at the 95% confidence level (α=0.05), p-value or Sig. (2-tailed) in the chi square table is 0.000, this number is smaller than =0.05 (0.000 0.05) which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and the implementation of KSPR for cadres in Jatisari Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency. Lack of knowledge of cadres about KSPR causes cadres to be less able to implement KSPR properly. There is a need for training on KSPR for cadres provided by midwives in order to increase the collaboration between midwives and cadres in implementing KSPR.

The results showed that the level of preparedness in preventing Covid 19 was mostly ready as many as 25 respondents (83.3%), and data that the level of spraying in the prevention of Covid 19 was mostly carried out by 25 respondents (83.3%). The results of calculations using SPSS were obtained with a significance value (p-value) of 0.000 <0.005. PMI Volunteers are expected to be more prepared in giving. Prevention of Covid- to come to the Posyandu. For institutions, it is hoped that the results of this research will serve as a reference in encouraging and motivating other students to develop and obtain good theories, models and implementation methods from this research or other research.
