Abstract

Pregnancy is an important phase in the life of a productive mother. During this period there will be many changes in the mother, both physically and psychologically. The influence of changes in the hormones estrogen and progesterone plays a role in emotional changes. This causes the mother to feel uncomfortable and triggers stress, which is characterized by the mother being often moody, anxious, restless, feeling uncertain, reduced concentration and often dizzy. In the early trimester of pregnancy, pregnant women are very sensitive and fragile, many fears that arise about the dangers that may occur to the mother and her baby. This is caused by lack of knowledge and attitudes. In this phase, pregnant women need advice, encouragement, direction and help from the people around them. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about psychological changes in the first trimester in the Work Area of the Pinang City Health Center, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency in 2021.This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional design. The research is located at the Kota Pinang Health Center, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency. The population of the study, namely all pregnant women in the first trimester, amounted to 108 people. The sample size is 52 people. Data were analyzed by chi-square test. The result of this research is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about psychological changes in the first trimester (p-value 0.006). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about psychological changes in the first trimester at the Puskesmas Kota Pinang, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency. It is recommended that pregnant women increase their knowledge and actively seek various information, especially psychological changes in the first trimester.

Abstract

Infancy starts from the age of 0-12 months which is characterized by rapid growth and physical changes accompanied by changes in nutritional needs. The weight growth of infants aged 0-6 months has increased by 150 -210 grams / week. Lack of knowledge of the mother affects the rate of growth of the baby's weight which can result in the baby being malnourished during its growth period. Descriptive survey research method uses a descriptive correlational design. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 3-6 months, the sampling technique was accidental sampling with a total of 50 respondents. The instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Chi-Square Test. Based on the results of the study, the majority of 50 respondents had sufficient knowledge as much as 31 (62%). The Chi Square test result is 0.013, it can be seen that the calculation of the significant coefficient test is obtained at the real initial a = 0.05 and the Chi Square test p = 0.013 so that 0.013 <0.05.

Abstract

Breast milk is an emulsion of fat in a solution of protein, lactose and inorganic salts secreted by the mother's mammary glands. Oxytocin is a hormone that affects the lactation process. Oxytocin that reaches the mammary alveoli causes contraction of the myoepithelial cells surrounding the mammary alveoli and lactiferous ducts. Back massage on the cervical 5-6 to the lower shoulder blades stimulates the release of endorphins and oxytocin hormones and increases blood circulation in the breast area. This study uses a pre-experimental type of research, with a One Group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were all breastfeeding mothers who were at BPM Wahyu Jl Pertiwi No.58 Pond Village, Percut Sei Tuan District in 2021, the data collected in May-September were 35 people, The sample in this study was purposive sampling technique, with the research technique using the Chi Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on breast milk production in nursing mothers when a back massage is performed using lavender essential oil. The number of breastfeeding mothers after a back massage using Lavender essential oil produced smooth breast milk with a total of 27 mothers (77.14%) whose breast milk was smooth. The results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test show that the p value (0.001) < (0.05) means Ho is rejected, so there is a significant effect on breast milk production if breastfeeding mothers are massaged using lavender essential oil at BPM Wahyu Jl Pertiwi No. 58 Pond Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, 2021. .

Abstract

This study discussed the role of digital technology applications in promoting public health efforts to accelerate technology-based health services. Our efforts to obtain data have been carried out in many journals and information sources related to health services and technology. We find the data electronically by searching for keywords. Then we analyze it under a phenomenological approach, which tries to understand health issues based on digital application technology. In our studies, we chose methods of the data coding system, in-depth analysis, high evaluation of the data, and interpreting the data to obtain valid and convincing findings. So, based on the findings that we have presented as well as the results of the discussions that we have conducted, we can say that the role of digital applications in efforts to accelerate health services and promotions for the community in the regions has given a belief that this digital application is indeed efficient and profitable because it can innovate services and also the acceleration of services from the government to people who need technology-based health services in the all-digital era. Hopefully, these findings will support further studies, especially among academics and practitioners in the field.

Abstract

A study was conducted in connection with the comparison of antibacterial activity tests between ethanol extracts from green tea leaves and black tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) against Propionibacterium acnes. There were obtained by a softening technique that was softened for 24 hours. The filtrate was then concentrated to give a concentrated extract and evaporated ethanol content. The concentrated extract was then diluted with distilled water to extract 5%, 10%, and 15% concentration variations. The test method for inhibitory activity was the disc method using distilled water as a negative blank. The results obtained with blank, 5%, 10% and 15% green tea were 0. 5.25; 7.05 and 7.95 mm and black tea ethanol extract were 0; 2.50; 3.20 and 5.30 mm. The conclusion of this study is that the concentration of the extract is directly proportional to its inhibitory power, and the green tea ethanol extract is more potent than the black tea ethanol extract, so both can be used as antibacterial agents against P. acnes.

The conclusion of this study is that there was a relation among age at menarche, family history, and lifestyle with the incidence of Fibroadenoma mammae. It is suggested that adolescents should pay more attention on their lifestyle, especially those related to the triggers of Fibroadenoma mammae..
