Abstract

Digital wallet applications or technology-based payment services have become payment tools that are inseparable from everyday life in Indonesian society. Digital wallet applications in Indonesia have become a very important need for society to carry out transactions quickly and safely using smartphones. Even though the Indonesian digital wallet application makes transactions very easy, there are often problems that cause delays in receiving funds from service providers, low digital literacy makes users become victims of online fraud, and lack of application security which can cause users to switch to other services. There are many digital wallet applications in Indonesia that make transactions easy, one of which is GoPay. GoPay is a popular digital wallet application that provides various features for making digital payments. This research aims to determine the ease of use of the GoPay application with the presence of GoPay as a transaction service. This research uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. This research measures user perceptions of ease of use and usefulness. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires with a sample size of 100 respondents who are active users of the GoPay application. Data was collected through an online questionnaire and processed using statistical data processing software (SPSS). The survey of respondents showed that the PEOU indicator variable had a percentage of 98%, the PU indicator variable had a percentage of 89%, the ATU indicator variable had a percentage of 98%, and the ITU indicator variable had a percentage of 85%, and the ASU indicator variable had a percentage of 89%. The research results show that the two TAM constructs, namely ease of use and usefulness, have a significant positive influence on intention to use GoPay. These findings confirm that the variables of perceived usefulness, attitude of use, behavior of use, and actual conditions of use influence the level of ease of use of GoPay.

Abstract

PDAM is a local government-owned company responsible for providing drinking water and clean water services to the community. During the distribution process, the water delivered by PDAM sometimes does not meet good water quality standards. Solid particles in cloudy water can erode pipes, cause blockages, and ultimately lead to pipe leaks. Therefore, a system is needed to monitor water quality and pipe conditions, including automatic control of water turbidity and detection of pipe leaks. In this research, an Arduino Uno is connected to turbidity, pH, and pressure sensors. NodeMCU ESP32 is used to control the actuators and send sensor reading data to the Firebase database. The test results indicate that the average error for the turbidity sensor is 3.29%, for the pH sensor is 4.15%, and for the two pressure sensors when the pipe is not leaking, the average error is 0.88%. The system can also provide notifications on an Android application when there is a decrease in water quality or a pipe leak. The average time interval required for the system to send notifications to the Android application is 3.47 seconds.

Abstract

Distributors are important intermediaries in the supply chain to distribute products from producers to retailers or to end consumers. The best distributors are strategic partners who play a vital role in the success of the supply chain and marketing of products. The main problem in choosing the best distributor often revolves around several critical factors. The best distributors must have a commitment to innovation in the distribution process and continuous improvement to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet the challenges of the ever-changing market. The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a decision support system for the selection of the best distributor using the TOPSIS method and ROC weighting, to assist companies in identifying and selecting the distributor that is most in accordance with the criteria that have been set. The ROC method is based on a ranking of criteria given by decision-makers. The results of the ranking of the best distributor selection show that the first best distributor with a final score of 0.72949 was obtained by Garuda Food, the second best distributor with a final score of 0.64131 was obtained by Wings Food, and the third best distributor with a final score of 0.61099 was obtained by Toko Lucky. The results of this ranking are the basis for optimizing its distribution network for the company. By choosing distributors that have the highest ratings, companies can ensure that their products reach customers with the highest quality and on time. These rankings not only assist companies in making strategic decisions but also drive quality and efficiency improvements throughout the supply chain.

Abstract

Netflix has become a major icon in technological developments in the world of entertainment. Advances in information technology allow us to make it easier to access thousands of film and TV show titles. Netflix is ​​a subscription service that makes it easier for users to watch movies and TV shows without ads on devices connected to the Internet. With the increasing number of film and TV show titles, it makes it difficult for viewers to decide which film to watch. The K-Means Clustering method is used to analyze data from various film preference groups on Netflix. The results of this analysis can help users choose film recommendations based on the rating and genre they want. In this way, it will be easier for users to make choices for watching movies and TV shows. The dataset taken came from Kaggle with 9957 data. The results of research using the K-means Clustering method can be concluded that there are 3 clusters, where Cluster 0 is short films to feature films with an average of 33% action genre and 20% comedy, cluster 1 is films - feature films to biographical or documentary films with an average of 37% action genre and 19% drama, and cluster 2 is series or short films with an average of 32% drama genre, 24% crime and 22% action.

Abstract

PT Pegadaian Persero is one of the State-Owned Enterprises that helps the government to provide financial solutions to customers who are experiencing financial difficulties by providing macro-scale loans or providing legal credit to customers. PT Pegadaian creates software that makes it easier for employees and clients to process all types of business processes and transactions because the company has been impacted by advances in information technology. With the increase and development of information technology, PT Pegadaian realizes that the use of information technology is very helpful in the process of optimizing business growth. The software owned by PT Pegadaian is PASSION (Pegadaian Application Support System Integrated Online). The PASSION application is an information system used in productivity and daily operations at Pegadaian, so it is necessary to pay attention to the usability level of the application so that it can make it easier for employees to apply the application. The aim of this research is to measure employee satisfaction, effectiveness and usability scores with the PASSION application used. To analyze the effectiveness, level of satisfaction and usability of the PASSION application, the System Usability Scale (SUS) method is the appropriate solution and method for evaluating system usability based on industry standards. The System Usability Scale (SUS) method was chosen because respondents can complete questions quickly and easily by filling out a questionnaire consisting of ten statements and the results are a single score from 0 to 100, which makes it relatively easy for users to understand. Based on the calculation process that has been carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, a value of 69.125 is obtained, which is in the grade C or "Good" position and has an Acceptable range based on the Net Promoter Score (NPS). This value shows that the PASSION application has successfully calculated its feasibility or usability level using this method so that this application can be used by employees at PT Pegadaian.

Abstract

The existence of technology has provided many benefits for human life, one of which is in the field of education, both universities and schools. One of the information system websites that are widely used in Indonesian society, the website is an important aspect in providing various information from various sources that can be accessed by the world community. Visitors assess the performance of a site on its ease of use and attractiveness. To determine the quality of the website, it is necessary to take measurements, these measurements need to be carried out to determine the quality of a website so that we can understand the opinions of users on a website whether users are satisfied or the quality of the website still needs to be improved. The implementation of this research using the Importance Peformance Analysis (IPA) method combines the measurement of the importance level factor (Performance) and the performance level (Importance) in a two-dimensional graph that facilitates data explanation and gets practical suggestions. After measuring the results of this study, this website needs to improve its performance so that the performance level is higher than the level of expectation (Importance).

Abstract

This research employs sentiment analysis techniques to examine audience perceptions across three videos featuring tourist vlog content. Utilizing the CRISP-DM framework, the study compares the performance of VADER and TextBlob in sentiment classification, analyzing the distribution of polarity values and agreement levels between the two models. The findings reveal varying proportions of negative, neutral, and positive sentiments across the videos, with VADER and TextBlob demonstrating fair agreement levels ranging from 64.97% to 72.60%. These results underscore the importance of employing diverse sentiment analysis tools and language-specific models for accurate sentiment classification. The research contributes valuable insights for content creators, marketers, and analysts in understanding audience sentiments and shaping content strategies effectively.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Rapid and Participatory Application Development (RPAD) in educational settings, emphasizing its urgent necessity in enhancing project-based learning environments. Given the rapid pace of technological advancements and the evolving demands of modern education, there is an urgent need for innovative methodologies that can effectively integrate digital tools into the learning process. RPAD's iterative development process and active user involvement ensure the creation of functional and user-centric applications. The findings demonstrate that RPAD facilitates timely feedback, continuous improvement, and the effective integration of digital tools, enriching the learning experience and aligning theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. This methodology drives substantial improvements in teaching methodologies and student engagement and ensures that educational institutions remain adaptive and future-ready. The study concludes that adopting RPAD is crucial for enhancing the effectiveness and relevance of contemporary education, addressing current challenges, and preparing for future demands.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of lifestyle-related health issues highlights the necessity for innovative solutions to promote healthier habits. This study aims to design a better and more suitable user interface (UI) for the user experience (UX) of a mobile calorie deficit application using the Design Thinking method. The primary objective is to create a user-centric UI design that enhances user engagement and supports weight management goals. Through a comprehensive Design Thinking process, which includes empathizing with users, defining problems, ideating solutions, prototyping, and testing, we developed a UI design tailored to the needs of individuals seeking to manage their calorie intake effectively. The testing phase involved two scenarios. The first scenario achieved a miss click rate of 0-9% and a usability score ranging from 91 to 100. User feedback was continuously integrated to refine the design, ensuring usability and functionality. The results demonstrate that the well-structured UI design effectively improves user satisfaction and interaction. This research underscores the value of Design Thinking in developing user-centered interfaces for health management applications.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women worldwide. To overcome this growing problem, this study designed a model that can predict breast cancer by utilizing datasets and then processed using the Logistic Regression Prediction method. This method is appropriate for predicting the data used because of its ability to handle dependent variables that are categorical and provide outups in the form of probabilities. This study uses a dataset of 306 samples with 4 attributes. Data used Research steps include data collection, preprocessing, modeling with logistic regression and evaluating results using matrices such as confusion matrix, MAE, MSE, and R-Square. The results showed a prediction accuracy of 86%, with an MSE value of 0.137 and R-Square of 0.309. This study shows the effectiveness of logistic regression in predicting the survival of patients after breast cancer surgery. However, by applying different algorithms, this study can select the best set of significant attributes to increase the prediction accuracy value in postoperative breast cancer patients.
