Abstract

In this modern era, motorcycles are a primary means of transportation used by many people in Indonesian society, including students who use them to access campus. However, the increase in motorcycles also raises safety issues and the availability of parking spaces on campus. The parking system needs to be improved at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, because it does not use an automatic checking system, resulting in concerns about vehicle safety. This research aims to build a Web-based Motorcycle Parking Information System to store real-time rider data and detect faces and police numbers through CCTV. The Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method is used as a development method because of its high level of flexibility and its ability to adapt to changing needs. This system was developed using the Bootstrap framework for the front end and Laravel for the back end, with MySQL Workbench as a server to manage the database. System testing uses the Black Box Testing method to ensure each unit or module functions according to predetermined needs. The test results show that all features function validly and by the expected specifications. This research provides an effective solution for improving parking security and parking space management on campus, thus providing a sense of comfort and security for students and all parking users at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram.

Abstract

Solar energy is one of the most affordable energy sources and a clean and friendly renewable energy source in the world. Solar energy, which is abundant throughout the world, can be an energy source that is economical to implement. Due to its advantages, the use of solar energy continues to increase throughout the year. One way to convert solar energy into electrical energy is to use a Photovoltaic (PV) or PV Module device. The PV module used as a study is located in the PLN PLTS 7 MWp in Sengkol village. The PV module used as a study is located in the PLN PLTS 7 MWp in Sengkol village. PV energy production forecasting is carried out to assist in managing planning and knowing PV energy production based on meteorological data in an area where PV equipment has not been installed with a user interface in the form of a website. Machine learning is a technique that allows machines to learn directly from examples, data and experience. In contrast to traditional programming approaches where machines are given commands one by one, machine learning can make its own decisions on a problem after it "learns" from the examples or data provided. This research attempts to forecast the energy production produced by photovoltaic devices using the Random Forest Classification algorithm, which is a classification algorithm from machine learning, so that the overall performance results of this modeling are obtained for the data provided. This algorithm works by collecting predictions from a large number of independent decision trees, and then combining these predictions to produce a more accurate and stable final result by involving the use of historical data about temperature, solar radiation, solar radiation, and other environmental characteristics to predict the amount of energy produced by the photovoltaic system at a certain time, so that the overall performance results of this model are obtained for the data provided. The model built was evaluated using a confusion matrix and the results showed that this algorithm achieved an accuracy level of 96%. These results indicate that Random Forest Classification is an effective and reliable method for forecasting photovoltaic energy production.

Abstract

Housing is a collection of houses built in a certain area and is often identical to where an individual or family lives. The problem in this research is that in selecting a housing development company there are still things that are not quite right. Choosing the wrong housing developer can result in the purchase of a house that does not meet expectations. Therefore, choosing a housing development company is an important decision when buying a house. The aim of this research is to apply a combination of AHP and ARAS methods to determine which housing development company is the best in choosing a housing development company. There are several important things to pay attention to when choosing a housing developer. Therefore, in this research there are criteria parameters used in determining the best housing development company. The criteria used consist of price, quality, processing time, service and satisfaction. These five criteria are used as the basis for assessment in choosing the best housing development company. The results of applying the combination of the AHP and ARAS methods show that of the 5 alternatives there is a company with the largest Ki value of 0.780, namely PT. Ria Bakti as the best housing development company. From the results obtained, this research can provide a solution to the problem of choosing the best housing development company, so that in the future you can avoid regrets when buying housing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the application of informative features, classify data based on academic features, interests and talents with Information Techniques using Decision Tree C4.5. The aim of this research is to conduct research on students in determining the choice of study program to continue their education to college, because in choosing a study program to continue their education to college, students often experience difficulties in determining which study program they will choose. The research collected 140 student data, by distributing questionnaires to prospective new students and asking the school for students' academic scores, the author has 140 data that will be used in this research. Next, from the 140 data, researchers will divide it into two parts, namely 118 training data and 22 testing data to meet the needs in designing the model. Based on the results of research conducted using the Supervised Learning Decision Tree C4.5 approach and applying the Information Gain technique for classification of advanced study program selection, an accuracy of 86% was obtained. This success rate shows that the method is effective in identifying and classifying advanced study programs. This indicates that the use of Decision Tree C4.5 which utilizes the Information Gain technique has great potential as a model that can assist students in choosing their advanced study program with a satisfactory level of accuracy. With high accuracy results, this method can be relied on to provide accurate predictions in the context of study program selection.

Abstract

The development of 21st century technology has triggered ecosystem transformation in various sectors, including education. The implementation of Learning Management System (LMS) is one form of educational evolution by providing an efficient centralized learning system. Hendevane Training Partner (HTP), a training institution in Depok City, has adopted LMS as part of its services. Through the LMS website, participants can access various training materials, interact with mentors and fellow participants, and take online exams. Evaluation of the quality of LMS services is important to ensure participant satisfaction. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is used to analyze and improve service quality, with a focus on understanding participant needs. The results of QFD are then implemented through the House of Quality (HOQ) to determine improvement priorities. This study aims to apply QFD and HOQ in improving the quality of LMS services at HTP, with the hope of contributing to increasing participant satisfaction and the development of the distance learning system as a whole. The results of this study are the priority of improvement in navigation speed (changing pages).

Abstract

Employees are valuable to a company, so hiring the right ones is crucial. However, "Kenapa Creative" startup struggles with recruiting, as 179 applicants overwhelm their staff. Manual data management makes it hard to get the best results. To tackle this, a Decision Support System (DSS) is developed. The goal of this research is to create an employee recruitment DSS to help startup managers make hiring decisions more easily. It begins with collecting recruitment-related data through interviews and literature review. System design starts from activity diagrams to application with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for prioritizing criteria and sub-criteria, while the Weighted Product (WP) method is used for alternative ranking. AHP is considered capable of decomposing complex problems using hierarchies, making a problem more structured and systematic. WP is deemed to have simple complexity, making computation time faster and addressing recruitment problems requiring quick selection. DSS testing uses Black Box, Usability, SPK validity, and Expert Judgment methods. The research results in an employee recruitment DSS. The system can obtain the best candidate to be accepted. The system features work according to black box testing. SUS testing yields scores of 78.5 from the applicant side and 84.5 from the admin side, categorizing the system as Acceptable. SPK validity testing results in an 80% percentage from the comparison between manual calculations and the system. Expert Judgment testing shows that the system produces alternative rankings consistent with expert views.

Abstract

This study evaluates the User Experience (UX) of the Library Information System at Pignatelli Triputra University using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to ensure that investment in the development of the library information system provides maximum benefits, minimizes user barriers, and enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of library operations. The study involved 30 students as respondents, measuring six components of user experience with average scores: attractiveness (1.61), clarity (1.84), accuracy (1.51), efficiency (1.88), stimulation (1.38), and novelty (0.88). The results indicate that clarity has the highest score, while novelty has the lowest, indicating the need for improvement in this area. The average scores for attractiveness, efficiency, and stimulation fall into the "Good" category, while novelty is only "Above Average." The findings of this study suggest that enhancing the "novelty" aspect of the library information system is a critical recommendation for the Library and IT Division at Pignatelli Triputra University in the information system upgrading process. This study is also expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in developing more efficient and user-friendly library information systems to improve user satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Abstract

Terrarium is one of the interesting and environmentally friendly room decorative solutions. However, the owner must be more careful to pay attention to the optimal humidity and light conditions for the terrarium. In an effort to overcome these obstacles, this research makes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automation control system for terrarium watering and lighting. The system is equipped with a humidity sensor (DHT22) and a light intensity sensor (Light Dependent Resistor) to detect environmental conditions. When abnormal humidity is detected, the system will automatically water the plants, while the lights will be adjusted to the light intensity of the room. In addition, the system data is presented in real-time through the website and displayed on the LCD screen. The test results show the accuracy rate of the humidity sensor is 97.45% and the light intensity sensor is 98.51%, while the ultrasonic proximity sensor has an average accuracy of about 98.61%. This research offers a practical solution for maintaining terrariums efficiently and effectively through the application of IoT technology.

Abstract

PrimaKu App has been a pioneer in the field of digital health since 2017. Through this application, parents can regularly and continuously monitor their children’s health and development. PrimaKu also has a formal alliance with the Indonesian Pediatric Association (IDAI) to promote child health in Indonesia. This application can be downloaded through the Google Play Store. Google Play Store has a feature that allows users to review the app before downloading. Sentiment analysis is used to distinguish between positive and negative reviews by users who have provided reviews so that an evaluation of the services provided can be made. This research aims to conduct sentiment analysis of user reviews of the PrimaKu application using Random Forest (RF) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms with TF-IDF weighting. Optimization was performed using hyperparameters to improve the performance of the Random Forest and SVM algorithms. The data used consisted of the 2,293 most relevant reviews collected from the Google Play Store. The most effective models for the Random Forest and Support Vector Machine were selected by adjusting the hyperparameters using GridSearch CV. The results of this study show that Random Forest has a higher success rate in classifying PrimaKu user review data, with an accuracy of 89%, precision of 88%, recall of 81%, and F1-Score of 85%.
