Abstract

The location placement is an explanation related to the spatial layout of an economic activity, and this is always linked to the geographical allocation of limited resources which in turn will have an effect on and have an impact on both economic and social locations. Placement of location is a strategic activity that aims to maximize profits for the company. Placement of location greatly influences costs and determines income, location completely has the power to make or break a company's business strategy. To determine the recommendation for the placement of hawker brended dunhill filters at PT. Bentoel Group Asmo Medan can use the weight aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) method. The Waspas method can be used to rank the Hawkwer Dunhill Filter location with predetermined criteria.

Abstract

A decision support system is generally defined as a system capable of producing solutions and handling problems. Decision support systems are not intended to replace the role of decision makers, but to assist and support decision makers. Medan City is a big growing city, so it's no wonder there are so many shipping service partners that offer delivery services for the public. Where most of the shipping partners reach not only in Medan but also nationally and even internationally. Raya Utama travel is a travel agent that does not only serve flight and tour ticket sales. But it also serves passports and visas in various parts of the world, therefore every day it is necessary to send files for making these visas.

Abstract

The need for fertilizer at the Plant Protection Development Unit (UPPT) is uncertain depending on the demand of farmers, therefore it is necessary to predict fertilizer needs. There are five types of fertilizers predicted by the Plant Protection Development Unit (UPPT), including Urea fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, and Organic fertilizer, so fertilizer needs can be predicted. In predicting data mining on fertilizer needs using the ID3 algorithm. Where it works is calculating the value of entropy and gain to get the final result in the form of a tree to the decision and rule. Testing is done using the tanagra software. The results of the tests carried out on the tanagra application using the ID3 algorithm are in the form of a decision tree, while in the calculation the results obtained are in the form of a decision tree.

Abstract

English words are often used in various documents including one of them is in Microsoft Office Word documents. A data or document may experience errors, namely in foreign words that do not match the true meaning or meaning so that the document cannot be used. To get the correct document results and foreign words that match the meaning, this is done by using the Colossi algorithm by matching these foreign words. The colossi algorithm shifts the text from left to right. The colossi algorithm has two stages of its completion. First Comparisons are made from left to right on text which is located in the same position as the pattern position where the value of the function kmp "ext is slightly greater than -1. These positions are called nohole (s), second Comparing the remaining positions (other names are hole (s)) from the left to the right. With this algorithm it is expected to solve the problem of foreign words in Microsoft office Word documents. , then the application is built using Microsoft Visual Basic 2008, and it is expected that the results of the application can produce the right document

Something that is processed in order to produce a maximum in predicting a data in the company so that it can be good. In data processing, PT.Sri Ulina Ersada Karina still uses manual calculations. For this reason, it is necessary to predict within the company so that there are no insurmountable losses and loss of customers who make big losses. It is for this reason that the authors make a study that discusses predicting the advantages and disadvantages of oil palm distribution at PT.Sri Ulina Ersada Karina. Testing data using the SPSS 17 application. This prediction is made in order to predict the coming year in order to overcome any losses. The existence of this prediction is also so that problems that often occur can be resolved

Abstract

Document file is a means of transforming information from one person to another or from a group to another. The development of computerized technology has greatly increased. Document files are very vulnerable to fraud, eavesdropping or data theft by irresponsible parties. In order to maintain the security of document files, this can be done by using cryptographic techniques. Cryptography is the science of keeping data secure. Cryptography is one of the data security methods that can be used to maintain data authenticity, data confidentiality, and the authenticity of data transmission. SHA, which stands for Secure Hash Algorithm, is a standard hash function published by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), (NIST, 1995a). This study will use the SHA-1 method to secure the authenticity of document files, document confidentiality, document integrity, and document authentication. This study describes the security process for detecting the authenticity of document files using the SHA-1 method in the form of detection so that confidential documents sent via public telecommunications cannot be changed or modified by unauthorized persons or unauthorized persons. This is done as an effort to minimize acts of fraud, hoaxes, or misuse of document files.

Abstract

The development of information technology is now increasingly sophisticated and continues to develop. Over time, the latest smartphone releases are increasingly being released with various specifications and brands, and have various prices that can be adjusted to the buyer's budget. So many types and various kinds of specifications make buyers confused about buying a smartphone. Each smartphone has different quality and specifications from each brand, of course, making it difficult for buyers to make decisions in choosing a smartphone. From these problems, a Decision Support System was created in buying a smartphone which aims to make buyers choose the right smartphone. Some of the criteria found from the results of observations and interviews include C1 Price, C2 CPU, C3 ROM, C4 Battery, C5 Camera, and C6 RAM. Research using the VIKOR method of calculation obtained results that can be used as a reference in choosing a smartphone. The purpose of making a decision support system for making decisions in buying a smartphone is fulfilled. This system can help buyers provide recommendations when choosing the smartphone they want to buy with accurate results

Abstract

At this time the best rice was very diverse. This makes fertile beautiful village farmers having difficulty choosing the best type of rice that will be made of quality rice. Until recently, this was done in the traditional way, such as waiting for the harvest to find out. So that we need a decision support system used in selecting the best rice type. In this decision making system will use the Weighted Product method to determine alternatives and criteria. The criteria that will be used to determine the best rice are price, quality, harvest time, popularity, maintenance costs and durability. The alternatives that are chosen are Rice Hebrides, Padi Impara, Padi Impari and Padi 64. In testing and implementation, the best rice yields can be obtained with several alternatives, namely hybrid rice which is the first alternative which is made as quality rice

Abstract

Rattan handicrafts are one of the most famous handicrafts in all corners of the country. Over time, rattan handicrafts have grown in terms of types and forms. One of the industries that produces rattan handicrafts is Rattan Furniture-Sampit, located in East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan. The purpose of this research and application of this method is to predict the amount of rattan production based on material information and based on customer orders, because usually when there is an order the industry only estimates the amount of rattan to be used as crafts and results in more than customer orders. The final result of this research is to find the amount of handicraft production that must be produced based on demand and supply of materials

Abstract

The acceptance of Lecturers in a University should be through the stage seleski. In the selection process will be produced a decision. To obtain a good decision then required a system supporting the decision, known as SPK. DSS is an information system interactive that provides information specifically aims to solve a particular problem, whether the problem is structured or unstructured. There are many methods that can help in the system of supporting decision. In research this will be done a comparison or the comparison of the method of Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) and the method of Multi-Objective Optimization On The Basis Of Ratio (MOORA). The purpose of this research is to view a comparison of the magnitude of the final value of the two methods in selecting Lecturer Candidates will be accepted. The second method used by some of the criteria of judging that have been defined. On the method of WASPAS results highest with the total value of the end is 1.30663 automatically gets a rank of one, while in the method of MOORA results the highest value is 0.46504 be at rank one. From the second the end result of this method can be seen that among the methods of WASPAS and methods of MOORA have different results
