Abstract

ASSİSTANCE İN PREPARİNG FLIPBOOK MAKER-BASED E-MODULES WİTH A SCİENTİFİC APPROACH. Technological advances require educators to be more creative and innovativein developing teaching materials with a scientific approachlearner-centered. However, teaching materials that are often used inIntegrated Islamic School is a textbook that only contains materialdiscussion. The aim of this service is to provide assistancepreparation of e-modules based on Flipbook Maker with a scientific approach,namely: (1) to determine the teacher's understanding of the preparation of e-modulesbased on Flipbook Maker with a scientific before and after approachmentoring activities; (2) to find out the teacher's response toassistance activities in the preparation and use of e-based modulesFlipbook Maker with a scientific approach. Participants of the activity is teachers of all subjects in SMP IT Al Falah Cirebon. This community service was carried out in two major activities, namely In Service Training (IST) and On the Job Training (OJT). This service shows that: (1) There has been a significant increaseon teacher understanding regarding Flipbook-based learning e-modulesMaker with a scientific approach. Average level of teacher understandingbefore participating in training and mentoring activities is 56%in the poor category. After participating in training activities andmentoring, the average level of teacher understanding increased to 94%with the very good category. (2) Based on the related response questionnaireservice activities carried out, participants gave positive responsesvery good in terms of material content, material presentation, and mentoringpreparation of e-modules, with an average percentage of 95%.

Abstract

The PkM aims to improve the skills of JFT Bapas Class I Cirebon employees in writing scientific papers and motivate them to publish. The PkM activity applies the concept of self learning (SL). This is a strategic effort to build a mentoring atmosphere that is creative and innovative. There are four phases that need to be done by service providers: investigation, preparation, action, and reflection. Referring to this explanation, the scientific writing consultation service at Bapas Class I Cirebon was transformed into a technology-based one. The PkM mentoring at Bapas Class I Cirebon was held at the Bapas Class I Cirebon hall on November 16-17, 2023 and continued online. Participants included 18 JFT employees. The PkM was opened by the Head of Bapas Class I Cirebon, Rony Kurnia, and went smoothly and conducively. The Head and Participants of Bapas Class I Cirebon positively welcomed this platform-based mentoring. This makes it easier for employees to access repeatedly. The mentoring utilizes the smile platform designed by the writing team with a project-based method and based on the needs of JFT employees. Through this method, the mentoring is carried out on an ongoing basis and emphasizes a deep understanding of the assisted subject. The platform contains motivation and structured explanations consisting of several sessions, followed by appreciation in the form of certificates.

Abstract

TRAINING AND MOTIVATION OF SMAN 1 PANGALENGAN STUDENTS IN IMPROVING ACADEMIC CAREERS: ADVANCED HIGHER EDUCATION STUDIES. Training and academic motivation are crucial efforts to encourage high school students, particularly in remote areas such as Pangalengan, to pursue higher education. This study aims to raise awareness and motivation among students of SMAN 1 Pangalengan regarding the importance of continuing their studies to the university level. Through a participatory method with a qualitative descriptive approach, the program involved training and the dissemination of information about academic career pathways, including details on university entrance exams and scholarship opportunities. The results of the training indicated a significant improvement in the students' understanding and motivation. Before the training, 65% of students had limited knowledge about university admission pathways, but after the training, 85% of students reported an increased understanding. Additionally, the students' motivation to pursue higher education rose from 45% before the training to 78.6% afterward. These findings also demonstrate that the training successfully enhanced students' confidence in planning their academic careers. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in increasing student participation in higher education and assisting them in making appropriate academic career choices.

Abstract

Berdasarkan kesenjangan dilapangan artikel ini mengupas secara mendalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling bidang belajar di sekolah dalam pendekatan konseptual yang holistik. Menguraikan model intervensi multilevel, individual, dan kelompok kelompok, serta kolaborasi sistemik antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Studi menyoroti pentingnya peran konselor dalam menjembatani gap antara harapan akademik dan realita emosional siswa. Disamping itu, hadirnya teknologi diharapka menjadi alat pendukung untuk melakukan asesmen, evaluasi dan intervensi yang lebih luas. Temuan menunjukkan terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan sumberdaya manusia, kesenjangan digital, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Upaya kolaboratif membuka peluang transformasi dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling belajar di sekolah. Dengan menyajikan pemikiran dan analisis sederhana artikel ini diharapkan mampu menjadi referensi bagi pendidik, konselor, dan pengambil kebijakan untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang inklusif, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap dinamika kebutuhan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that impacts cognitive functions, leading to disruptions in thinking, perception, emotion, movement, and behavior. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) data from 2013, schizophrenia is a severe mental illness that affects approximately 7‰ of the adult population, particularly within the age group of 13 to 35 years. Given the discrepancies between societal expectations and the actual handling of individuals with schizophrenia (ODS) in practice, this study aims to develop a model of schizophrenia rehabilitation to enhance the quality of life for ODS. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating the Wilcoxon test and modeling techniques. The Wilcoxon test, with a significance level of ɑ = 0.05, revealed a notable improvement in the quality of life of ODS before and after undergoing rehabilitation at the institution. The schizophrenia rehabilitation model consists of four stages: relaxation, care, rehabilitation, and day care. The final findings of this study demonstrate that the quality of life for ODS significantly improved after undergoing rehabilitation at the Gramesia Kedawung Institution in Cirebon Regency.
