Abstract

Abstrak:Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan eksistensi dan jalur silsilah Tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman dan Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) yang berkembang di Sulawesi Barat dan bertahan hingga detik ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melengkapi penelitian-penelitian terdahulu tentang organisasi tarekat dalam mengembangkan ajaran Islam di Sulawesi Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara para mursyid, khalifah dan juga dari unsur pengikut tarekat. Kemudian juga dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan melakukan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian telah menemukan bahwa genealogi Tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman yang berpusat di Campalagian, Sulawesi Barat berbeda dengan silsilah Tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman di Pattene’ dan Leppa Komae, Sulawesi Selatan. Sedangkan genealogi Tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) yang berpusat di Mapilli berasal dari silsilah Annangguru Adam yang diterima dari KH. Sutomo Syamsuddin al-Asrari (mursyid TQN di Makassar), yang juga diterima dari TQN di Suryalaya. Abstract:This article aims to describe the existence and lineage of the tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman and the tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah (TQN that developed in West Sulawesi and have survived to this day. The purpose of this study is to complement previous studies on tarekat organizations in developing Islamic teachings in West Sulawesi. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Sources of data were obtained from interviews with murshids, caliphs, and also from followers. Then also carried out data collection by conducting focus group discussions (FGD). The results of the study have found that the genealogy of the tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman which is based in Campalagian, West Sulawesi is different from the genealogy of the Khalwatiyah Samman in Pattene' and Leppa Komae, South Sulawesi. While the genealogy of the tarekat Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) which is based in Mapilli comes from the genealogy of annangguru Adam received from KH. Sutomo Syamsuddin al-Asrari (murshid of TQN in Makassar), who was also received from TQN in Suryalaya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perempuan di dalam al-Qur’an sesungguhnya memiliki kedudukan yang dimuliakan. Berbagai keyakinan yang umum di masyarakat muslim meyakini perempuan dianggap memiliki kedudukan satu tingkat di bawah laki-laki. Hal ini salah satunya muncul karena konstruksi tafsir klasik yang bias gender, sehingga seringkali penafsiran tersebut mengakibatkan perempuan tidak bisa berada dalam ruang publik. Maka dari itu, seringkali perempuan termarginalkan oleh laki-laki, hak-hak kebebasan perempuan terikat oleh laki-laki. Berbeda dengan metode penafsiran klasik, seorang mufasir perempuan progresif, Amina Wadud, menggunakan metode hermeneutika dalam menafsirkan perempuan di dalam bingkai al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Amina Wadud mengkritik para mufasir klasik yang menyatakan bahwa perempuan tidak sebanding dengan laki-laki. Bagi Amina Wadud, perempuan dengan laki-laki itu adalah sama. Perempuan juga bisa seperti laki-laki, dia juga bisa berada di dalam ruang publik. Sehingga, saat ini perempuan juga bisa berperan, baik itu di dalam urusan politik, masyarakat bahkan hal lainnya. Abstract: Women in the Qur'an are very glorified and also equal to men. What distinguishes people before the Creator, Allah Swt.  is only the level of the piety. However, many people assume that women are one level below men. Such paradigm is mainly influenced by moslem classical interpreters, who often interpret that woman cannot be in the public sphere. Therefore, women are often marginalized by men, the rights of freedom to women are often bound by men. The results of this paper show that Amina Wadud used hermeneutic methods in interpreting women in the frame of the Qur'an. So she criticized the classical mufasir who said that women are not comparable to men. Therefore for Amina Wadud women with men it is the same, they can also be in a public space. So that at this time women must also be able to play a good role in political affairs, society and even other things.

Abstract

This article aims to put Harald Motzki's isnad-cum-matn analysis theory to the test by looking at a hadith about loving Arabs amid some Muslim Arab cults. The theory used in this hadith study is based on the historical-critical approach (HCA), frequently used by Western scholars to investigate the authenticity of hadith. Harald Motzki's dating method involves simultaneously analyzing the transmission of hadith using the isnād and matan analysis methods. The primary guideline in tracing the hadith's origin is to analyze the transmission lines (isnad) by compiling and comparing variations of the hadith text with each other, determining the common link (cl) and partial common link (pcl) in the various transmission lines, and comparing the variants of the hadith text to determine whether the common link can be called the hadith's first transmitter. In the theoretical reflection on the hadith about loving Arabs, the author discovers that a second-century person named Abu Musallam is the common link and the author of the hadith with five people as partial common links, namely Al-Uqaili, Ali b. Hamsyaz, At-Tabrani, Habib b. Hasan, Faruq Al-Khatabi, and Hasan b. Yahya.

Abstract

Radikalisme dan terorisme merupakan ancaman yang masih dihadapi oleh negara-negara di Asia Tenggara. Radikalisme didefinisikan sebagai sebuah pandangan yang ingin melakukan perubahan radikal sesuai dengan ideologi yang diyakininya atau tafsirannya berdasarkan realitas sosial. Radikalisme yang sering kali disandingkan dengan kata agama memunculkan terminologi baru yaitu radikalisme agama. Radikalisme seringkali menjadi titik awal terbentuknya terorisme. Fenomena radikalisme dan terorisme bukan merupakan sesuatu yang muncul dari keyakinan tanpa sebab. Dalam konteks internasional, istilah terorisme telah digunakan dan diperkenalkan oleh Liga Bangsa-Bangsa (LBB), kemudian Perserikatan Bangsa-bangsa (PBB). Radikalisme dan terorisme menjadi diskursus kritis dan isu global yang diperbincangkan oleh banyak pihak, mulai cendekiawan hingga para pembuat kebijakan (decision makers) di berbagai negara. Negara-negara di kawasan Asia Tenggara (ASEAN) didapati telah mempersepsikan fenomena radikalisme dan terorisme sebagai salah satu ancaman bagi pemeliharaan dan keberlangsungan keamanannya. Di Indonesia, keruntuhan rezim Orde Baru di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Soeharto telah berimplikasi secara langsung terhadap keterbukaan ruang publik bagi masyarakat sipil seperti organisasi masyarakat (Ormas). Dengan demikian, multitrack diplomacy berupa dialog dan kerja sama antara institusi agama dan masyarakat sipil (civil society) perlu diwujudkan dalam rangka memperkuat langkah dan upaya pemerintah negara-negara ASEAN dalam mencegah dan menanggulangi radikalisme dan terorisme di kawasan Asia Tenggara.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of the message of the meaning of tahiyah in the Qur'an with the semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes. In interpreting the word tahiyah, it doesn't just stop at the greeting. Furthermore, it works as the basic argument of Islam in creating peace between religious communities. This study uses the library method by collecting and processing data to translate into writing. The purpose of this research is to answer the question how is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis on the meaning of the word tahiyah in QS al-Nisa '/4:86 and what is the message contained in the word. The results of this study indicate that the initial myth of the word tahiyah is the saying of hayaka Allah as a representation with fellow people in the Jahiliyah era. Then, the myth states by saying assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. This is the identity of Muslims when greeting. Furthermore, the hidden message contained in the meaning of tahiyah is an expression of Islam in and maintaining peace between religious communities by respecting various differences as a sign.

Abstract

Bekerja (melakukan pekerjaan) sering kali dimaknai sebagai aktivitas yang mendapat balasan, upah atau gaji. Bagi masyarakat modern, bekerja (melakukan pekerjaan) selalu dikaitkan dengan berapa balasan upah dan gaji yang didapat atas sebuah pekerjaan. Dalam al-Qur’an, pekerjaan disebutkan dengan menggunakan beberapa kata, antara lain: fa’ala, kasaba, ‘amila. Tulisan ini berupaya menjelaskan  kata “bekerja” dalam al-Qur'an yang menggunakan kata fa'ala. Untuk itu, penulis melakukan penelusuran kata fa’ala dan sekaligus membaca konteks kata tersebut dalam suatu ayat. Guna mendapat pemahaman mendalam, penulis merujuk beberapa kitab tafsir. melalui pembacaan kata fa’ala dalam alQur’an, penulis berkesimpulan bahwa: balasan yang didapatkan oleh orang yang melakukan sebuah pekerjaan, tidak selalu dalam bentuk materi. Dalam banyak ayat dalam alQur’an, balasan atas sebuah pekerjaan –baik perbuatan buruk atau baik- akan diganjar Tuhan diakhirat kelak. Dan, balasan tersebut bukan dalam bentuk materi, tetapi nikmat Tuhan yang tidak tertandingi. Inilah cara pandang baru untuk memaknai sebuah pekerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal portray Quranic verses interpreted using the scientific style of interpretation by M. Quraish Shihab in his Tafsir al-Misbah. Its existence has been revealed by Moh. Anwar Syarifuddin and Jauhar Azizy in their 2014 report on "Islamic Relations and Science and Technology in the Indonesian Tafsir Literature", but using only the Madaniyya verses of the five first chapters of the Qur’an. The present writer examined there surahs: al-Nahl (the Bees), al-Naml (the Ants) and al-Ankabut (the Spider), all of which are animal names but categorized as Makkiyah instead. Research question of this piece is what is proven to be the scientific style of interpretation within the interpretation of those three surahs in Tafsir al-Misbāḥ? This is qualitative research along with the descriptive analytical method. The findings strengthen the previous findings which also show a very high level of appreciation indicated by the writer of al-Misbah in interpreting 33 Quranic verses within their scientific color of interpretation, in which it is a lot higher than the previous findings on the Madaniyya verses.

Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the crisis of spirituality in the recovery period after the Covid-19 pandemic through the philosophical views of George Berkeley. The crisis was getting worse because of Russia's war with Ukraine so that it pushed most people to focus on materialistic dimensions solely for the sake of economic recovery. The problem is, during the recovery period, many people separate material things from spiritual things, so they tend to pursue one or the other. In fact, both material and spiritual are the same thing, namely the quality of spirit. The implication is that the material dimension tends to push a person towards materialism in a recovery situation and ignores the spiritual dimension. This study uses a critical reflection method that aims to contemplate the reality of the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and assess it epistemically. The findings from this study are that material aspects or qualities are part of spiritual qualities. In other words, following Berkeley, spiritual quality is the scope of the process when a person perceives both the external world (objective reality) and subjective reality simultaneously. This means that Berkeley's theory of philosophy of perception as a philosophical viewpoint is still relevant for understanding reality in the midst of a spiritual crisis after the global recovery of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The author’s main concern in this study is to try to “dissect interpretations” with a scientific approach in Al-Qur’an dan Tafsirnya (Edisi Yang Disempurnakan Tahun 2011) compiled by a team appointed by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. To dissect these scientific approach, the author uses the conceptions of interpretation scholars regarding the interpretation of scientific approach. The interpretation of the scientific approach is a focuses on discussing the verses of the al-Qur’an which contain scientific cues so that the meaning and purpose expressed in them can be understood in detail. This study uses a data source in the form of library data. The type of research viewed from the perspective of implementation in this research is descriptive research. Researchers attempt to describe the object of study studied in depth. The main question to be answered in this study is: how many verses are interpreted in a scientific approach in the Al-Qur’an dan Tafsirnya (Edisi Yang Disempurnakan Tahun 2011) from juz 6 to juz 10?, and what is the background for the drafting team to pay more attention to interpretation scientific in it? The findings of this study indicate that in juz 6 to 10, there are 9 verses that are interpreted using a scientific approach. Interpretation with a scientific approach was carried out by a drafting team appointed by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia because they considered that society needed a new perspective in interpretation, a scientific approach. It is also based on the rapid development of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemikiran dan gagasan yang dilontarkan Gānim Qaddūrī terkait maraknya penerbitan mushaf Al-Qur’an dengan perbedaan corak rasm dan ḍabtnya serta tersebar masif di seantero dunia. Tak jarang perbedaan rasm dan ḍabt mushaf Al-Qur’an mengakibatkan gesekan di tengah umat Islam. Dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, penulis mencoba untuk mengetahui pemikiran dan gagasan Gānim Qaddūrī untuk mengusahakan penyeragaman rasm dan ḍabt mushaf Al-Qur’an. Hasilnya bisa dipahami bahwa setidaknya ada lima instrumen yang dapat dijadikan sebagai parameter untuk menyeragamkan rasm dan ḍabt dalam mushaf Al-Qur’an cetak di dunia. Namun lima instrumen tersebut masih dapat diperdebatkan karena merupakan ijtihad pribadi Gānim Qaddūrī.This study discusses the thoughts and ideas of Gānim Qaddūrī about the widespread publication of the Qur'anic manuscripts with different styles of rasm and dabt which are massively spread throughout the world. Differences between rasm and dabt mushaf of the Qur'an often cause friction among Muslims. By using the literature review method, the author tries to explore the thoughts and ideas of Gānim Qaddūrī who tries to homogenize the rasm and dabt mushaf of the Qur'an. The result can be understood that there are at least five instruments that can be used as benchmarks to uniform the rasm and dabt manuscripts of the Qur'an that are printed in the world. However, these five instruments are debatable because they are based on Gānim Qaddūrī's ijtihad.
