Abstract

Segmentation is an important process in image processing which aims to split an image into several segments with certain criteria. Image segmentation is the separation of one object with other objects in an image or between objects with a background contained in an image. With this segmentation process, each object in the image can be taken individually so that it can be used as input. The purpose of image segmentation is to separate the object area from other regions based on similarity of image attributes so that it is easy to analyze in order to recognize objects for a purpose. This type of operation is closely related to pattern recognition. In general, the segmentation process is divided into three parts based on classification, by edge and by region. The segmentation process in digital images is done with edge detection to provide a target path along the edge (edge) of the image object. The algorithm used is the otsu thresholding algorithm and the region growing algorithm where the otsu thresholding algorithm can divide the gray image histogram into two different regions automatically. While the region growing algorithm is a procedure in which a set of pixels or subregions to a larger region is based on defined criteria.

Abstract

Along with the development of the technology world, especially the internet where the availability of various kinds of information can be obtained easily, making almost every activity carried out through internet media starting from getting information, looking for news, communication facilities, promotions, buying and selling activities, and so forth. This also prompted the writer to create and design information system for selling web-based flannel shirts, where the web was specifically used for fasion fans, especially fans of flannel shirts. With the existence of a web like this the author hopes to provide convenience in making purchases and search for the desired product. by displaying various types of flannel shirt products and the ease in the purchase process, it is expected that the web will become one of the online stores that can grow.

Abstract

Cultural knowledge perservation is an important aspect for every nation, the developing internet technology and globalization effect bringing modern culture merging with content that consumed by public, this issue causing ignorance about our nation cultural knowledge. With no real effort to lessen the effect of this ignorance, especially for kids that need new fresh method for delivering the knowledge can be impactful to the culture itself. The conventional direct method for delivering this cultural knowledge is limited and maybe not enough to give them concern to learn. E-learning is a new way of delivering information that can be build to fulfill our need. Fresh way to deliver the information, always updating, specific, and easy access it’s the solution we need to provide. Web Based Cultural Learning Application in Medan can provide a different approach that differ from the way conventional or school teaching, this system also provide a reward in certificates or funds as appreciation to certain participants. FAST (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) methodoloy is used to implement this system while BlackBox method functionality testing resulting a 96% fulfilled rate

Abstract

The case-based reasoning method is one of the methods for building a system with the decision-making of a new case based on solutions from previous cases. This method provides a space on experts in giving similar or similarity value to the revealed knowledge. The disease in rabbit animals often makes the owner confused by the lack of owner knowledge about the animal's disease. Most of the diseases that occur in the pet rabbit are often underestimated, and if the disease is not immediately treated it will become more severe and serious in handling. Therefore, it is necessary a tool or a system that has a doctor's ability to diagnose diseases. The system is an expert system that seeks to adopt human knowledge to the computer in order to solve problems such as those commonly done by experts. The results showed that the case-based reasoning method can be used as a way to diagnose the type of disease suffered in rabbits

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic experienced by the world, various activities did not work as they should; one of the affected sectors was education. Education is an activity that is done face to face, but with the current conditions, forcing these activities to temporarily stopped. This research aims to develop an online learning system that is easy to understand and does not hamper the teaching and learning process in the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). This study uses the ADDIE model, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluations. Development research with the ADDIE model is limited to program implementation. The data that has obtained will be processed using quantitative methods and qualitative methods. The results of the study with the development method that the author received from filling out the questionnaire included aspects of the evaluation of media validation which consisted of 21 indicators, and media validation had two elements of assessment namely aspects of design appearance and programming aspects, the total score of the two aspects of the evaluation gained a total of 83 estimates and the average an average rating of 3.95 is in a Good category. Details of media validation are two indicators from the display aspect score 3 (9.25%), and four indicators score 4 (19.04%), while from the programming aspect there are 14 indicators score 4 (66.67%) and one indicator score 5 (4, 76%). The questionnaire assessment in terms of learning material received a total score of 49, with an average rating of 4.08 in the Good category. Recorded in terms of learning that has 12 indicators get an assessment with the details seven signs to get a score of 4 (58.33%), three symbols get a score of 5 (25%), and two indicators get a score of 3 (16.67%). While in terms of learning design, 11 signs obtained a total score of 45 an average rating of 4.09 and included in the category of Very Good. The distribution of the assessment questionnaire on the validation of the learning design recorded two indicators score 3 (18.18%), six signs score 4 (54.54%), and 3 symbols score 5 (27.27%).

Abstract

Assembled computers are computers that are self-assembled or can be assembled by stores with specifications accordance with the user's request. Apart from that, the difficulty of choosing components of a computer device that fits with your needs and financial budget is not an easy thing. So, there needs to be a supporting application in order to make it easier for users to choose computer peripheral components. The selection of assembled computer devices is using the fuzzy mamdani method, which is a suitable method to converting languages that are difficult for the public to understand, because the fuzzy database itself is a database that has queries that contain a fuzzy variable.

Abstract

A salesperson is someone who makes direct sales to consumers. Salespeople are the most important people in marketing the company's products. In this study, the aim is to select the best salespeople who can be compensated for the results of their performance. The method used in selecting the best salesman uses Multi-Objective Optimization on The Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) contained in the decision support system (DSS). The results of the study on 15 salespeople obtained the best sales results with a value of 0.28.

Abstract

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a concept for planning and managing company resources including funds, people, machines, spare parts, time, materials and capacities that have a wide influence from top management to operations in a company so that they can be optimally utilized for generate added value for all interested parties (stake holders) of the company. CRM is an integrated function that supports a company in the fields of marketing, sales and service, which can increase the value of customer satisfaction. With the increase in the value of customer satisfaction, the company's sales figures will increase.

Abstract

Guava Honey is a fruit that can be consumed and has a wide market share. The similarity in texture of honey guava skin color between ripe and immature results in difficulty in identifying ripe honey guava in terms of fruit skin texture characteristics and subjective human assessments of the maturity level of Honey guava fruit causing the assessment of the maturity level of Guava Honey to differ from one with others. From these problems, so that research was carried out to identify the maturity of Guava Honey based on the texture of the fruit skin color. The purpose of this study was to apply the statistical feature extraction method with characteristic parameters, namely Mean (μ), Variance (σ2), Skewness (α3), Kurtosis (α4) and Entropy (H) as a method to recognize the ripeness of honey guava in terms of fruit skin texture. and to find out the accuracy value after the system is tested. The subject of the research was to build an application to identify the ripeness of honey guava to statistically detect the ripe fruit of the ripe honey guava in terms of the texture of the fruit skin. Based on this research, the authors designed an Android-based application of guava honey maturity identification using Eclipse Juno and Sqlite. To simplify the identification process in the application, the writer applies the Statistical Feature Extraction Method and the expected results in this study are an application that applies the Statistical Feature Extraction Method.
