Abstract

Cow dung drying machine is used to overcome problems in processing cow dung. The type of drying machine selected is a rotary dryer type which rotates a drum or cylinder to stir the object being dried. A strong framework is needed to support the components of the dryer so that in its manufacture a static load analysis is needed so that the frame can support the load it will receive. The purpose of this research is to design, simulate and analyse the maximum stress and displacement in the frame structure of the rotary dryer using the finite element method in Solidwork. The simulation results show that the maximum stress supported by the engine frame is 7.115×105N/m2 and the maximum displacement is 1.315×10-2mm. The maximum stress value obtained is smaller than the yield stress of the frame material. This value indicates that the design of the rotary dryer machine frame structure is safe to proceed to the production stage. Mesin pengering kotoran sapi digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah dalam pengolahan kotoran sapi. Jenis mesin pengering yang dipilih adalah tipe rotary dryer yang memutar drum atau silinder untuk mengaduk benda yang dikeringkan. Diperlukan kerangka yang kuat untuk menopang kompone-komponen mesin pengering sehingga dalam pembuatannya dibutuhkan analisis beban statis agar kerangka tersebut mampu menopang beban yang akan diterimanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendesain, mensimulasi dan menganalisa tegangan maksimum serta displacement pada struktur rangka mesin rotary dryer dengan metode elemen hingga pada Solidwork. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan tegangan maksimum yang ditumpu rangka mesin sebesar 7,115×105

Abstract

Service quality is a determining factor for the success of an e-commerce business serving its customers, which has an impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, this study aims to measure the service quality of several online e-commerce market-places on customer satisfaction and loyalty in Indonesia. This study focuses on the four most visited e-commerce application providers, namely Lazada, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and Shopee. The concept of e-servqual and the SEM-PLS analysis method are used in this study. The results show that the variables that have significant effect on customer satisfaction are responsiveness, personalization, and reliability. While the variables that have no significant effect are website usability, information quality, and assurance. Furthermore, the variables that affect customer loyalty and satisfaction are assurance and website usability. Meanwhile, the variables of reliability, information quality, personalization, and responsiveness have no significant effect on customer loyalty. Kualitas layanan merupakan faktor penentu kesuksesan suatu usaha e-commerce melayani konsumennya yang berdampak pada kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ditujukan untuk mengukur kualitas layanan beberapa e-commerce market-place daring terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggannya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini fokus pada empat penyedia aplikasi e-commerce yang paling banyak dikunjungi yaitu Lazada, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, dan Shopee. Konsep e-servqual dan metode analisis SEM-PLS digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap kepuasan pelanggan adalah daya tanggap, personalisasi dan keandalan. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berpengaruh nyata adalah kegunaan website, kualitas informasi, dan jaminan. Selanjutnya, variabel yang mempengaruhi loyalitas dan kepuasan pelanggan adalah jaminan (assurance), dan kegunaan website (website usability). Sementara itu, variabel keandalan (reliability), kualitas informasi (information quality), personalisasi (personalization), dan daya tanggap (responsiveness) tidak berpengaruh nyata pada loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

An airfoil is a geometry shape of an aircraft wing designed to produce high lift force and low drag forces. Study on the air flow and pressure around of the airfoil was important step to analysis lift force and drag force. Factor affecting the lift force and drag force airfoil are the geometry and dimensions of the airfoil. This study to discus about the modification airfoil NACA 1408 was performed by adding round tip in leading edge to obtain simulate air flow by varying the angle of attack. The result showed that coefficient of lift (Cl) and coefficient of drag (Cd) was calculated from the simulations, data the highest Cl and Cd were 0.00277 and 0.00025 for the standard airfoil and for modification airfoil were 0.00343 and 0.00064. Based on the test result, the modified airfoil can produce better lift force than the standard shapes for test speed of 20 m/s. Airfoil merupakan bentuk geometri sayap pesawat terbang yang dirancang untuk menghasilkan lift force tinggi dan drag force rendah. Studi tentang aliran udara dan tekanan di sekitar airfoil adalah langkah penting untuk menganalisis lift force dan drag force. Faktor yang mempengaruhi lift force dan drag force airfoil adalah geometri dan dimensi airfoil tersebut. Penelitian ini membahas tentang modifikasi dilakukan pada airfoil NACA 1408 dengan menambahkan ujung bulat pada leading edge dan mendapatkan simulasi aliran udara dengan memvariasikan angle of attack. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa coefficient of lift dan coefficient of drag dihitung dari simulasi, data coefficient of lift dan coefficient of drag tertinggi adalah 0.00277 dan 0.00025 untuk airfoil standar dan untuk airfoil modifikasi adalah 0.00343 dan 0.00064. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, airfoil modifikasi dapat menghasilkan lift force lebih baik daripada bentuk standar untuk kecepatan uji 20 m/s.

Abstract

PT ISM Tbk Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya is a company that processes wheat into flour and by-products. There is an achievement of the Key Result Area (KRA) work target that has not been achieved, namely the problem of the ratio of electricity consumption. From the work target set at 18 kwh/ton, the achievement of the electricity ratio is still 19.09 kwh/ton. From October-December 2020 there was a waste of Rp. 51,166,851. The purpose of this research is to reduce the ratio of electricity consumption to 18 kWh/ton. The settlement method used is a quality control circle with a method of 8 steps and 7 tools. The improvement implemented is the application of an integrated variable frequency drive with a radar sensor to determine the product contents in the silo which is controlled via PLC. The results of the target evaluation show a decrease in the ratio of electricity consumption from 19.09 kwh/ton to 17.19 kwh/ton with a cost savings of Rp. 418,245,746/year. PT ISM Tbk Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya merupakan perusahaan yang mengolah gandum menjadi tepung terigu serta produk sampingan. Terdapat pencapaian target kerja Key Result Area (KRA) yang tidak tercapai yaitu masalah rasio konsumsi listrik. Dari target kerja yang ditetapkan sebesar 18 kwh/ton, pencapaian rasio listrik masih sebesar 19,09 kwh/ton. Selama Oktober-Desember 2020 terjadi pemborosan sebesar Rp 51.166.851. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menurunkan rasio konsumsi listrik hingga 18 kwh/ton. Metode penyelesaian yang digunakan yaitu quality control circle dengan metode 8 langkah dan 7 tools. Improvement yang diimplementasikan adalah penerapan variable frequency drive terintegrasi sensor radar untuk mengetahui isi product di dalam silo yang dikontrol melalui PLC. Hasil evaluasi target menunjukkan penurunan rasio konsumsi listrik dari 19,09 kwh/ton menjadi 17,19 kwh/ton dengan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp. 418.245.746/tahun.

Prototype sistem monitoring level cairan dibuat dalam penelitian ini untuk diujicobakan pada sistemnya. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa sistem monitoring level cairan yang diusulkan telah mampu memonitor parameter level dengan baik.

Abstract

Ex-mining land becomes an important thing to pay attention to after all or part of mining activities end in order to provide benefits for current and future generations. One of the efforts that can be done is to plant ex-mining land with plants such as oil palm. Oil palm plants, apart from providing the benefits of their harvest, can be sold, but also useful as a carbon sink. The purpose of this study is to calculate the economic value of the benefits of the ex-coal mining land of PT Sungai Pangean Jaya as a carbon sink. The data needed to achieve this goal are carbon prices, interest rates, the area of revegetated areas, and the carbon sequestration capacity of oil palm plantations. The calculation results show that the economic value for the years 2012-2026 that can be obtained is IDR 9,458,184,656.75, with the benefit value at the price in 2022 (present value in 2022) is IDR 9,960,926,612.01. Lahan bekas tambang menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan setelah seluruh atau sebagian kegiatan pertambangan berakhir agar memberikan kebermanfaatan bagi generasi sekarang dan di masa mendatang. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menanami lahan bekas tambang dengan tanaman seperti kelapa sawit. Tanaman kelapa sawit selain memberikan kebermanfaatan hasil panenya dapat dijual, namun juga bermanfaat sebagai penyerap karbon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghitung nilai ekonomi manfaat manfaat lahan bekas tambang batubara PT Sungai Pangean Jaya sebagai penyerap karbon. Data yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah harga karbon, suku bunga, luasan area yang direvegetasi, dan kemampuan serap karbon tanaman sawit. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa nilai ekonomi untuk tahun 2012-2026 yang bisa diperoleh adalah sebesar Rp 9.458.184.656,75, dengan nilai manfaat pada harga tahun 2022 (present value tahun 2022) adalah senilai Rp 9.960.926.612,01.

Abstract

Hydroelectric power plant is renewable electrical energy that is needed at this time. One of the hydropower plants that has been designed is the Kaplan turbine, which is intended for the Geladak Kenong river, Pamekasan. The turbine is designed to produce 1000 Watts of power. In the manufacture of the turbine, several variations have been carried out, namely the diameter of the turbine blades, the angle of the turbine blades and the height of the draft tube. However, the power generated is relatively small, which is 416.89 Watts. In this modification, Kaplan turbines will be made with variations in Guide Vanes angles of 15⁰, 25⁰, 35⁰ and 45⁰. Its working principle is optimizing water energy to improve Turbine performance. The method used in this study is to vary the angle of the Guide Vanes which can affect the power generated. The results of the Kaplan Turbine test, the highest power of 521.79 Watt, occurred at a Guide Vanes angle of 25⁰ with a discharge of 0.0152 m3/s and a rotation of 466 rpm. Pembangkit listrik tenaga air (PLTA) merupakan energi listrik terbarukan yang sangat dibutuhkan pada saat ini. Salah satu PLTA yang telah dirancang yaitu turbin Kaplan yang diperuntukkan di sungai Geladak Kenong Pamekasan. Turbin tersebut dirancang untuk dapat menghasilkan daya sebesar 1000 Watt. Dalam pembuatan turbin tersebut telah dilakukan pengujian dengan beberapa variasi yaitu diameter sudu tubin, sudut sudu turbin dan ketinggian draft tube. Namun daya yang dihasilkan relatif kecil yaitu sebesar 416,89 Watt. Pada modifikasi ini akan dibuat Turbin Kaplan dengan variasi sudut Guide Vanes 15⁰, 25⁰, 35⁰ dan 45⁰. Prinsip kerjanya mengoptimalkan energi air untuk meningkatkan kinerja Turbin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah memvariasi sudut Guide Vanes yang dapat mempengaruhi daya yang dihasilkan. Hasil dari pengujian Turbin Kaplan, daya tertinggi sebesar 521,79 Watt, terjadi pada sudut Guide Vanes 25⁰ dengan debit 0.0152 m3/s dan putaran 466 rpm.

Abstract

Over time, the condition of conventional lathes used for the production process at PT. Raja Ampat Indotim experienced a decrease in ability and function which would result in losses. However, the treatment measures carried out in PT. RAI is considered to be still ineffective, because all activities are carried out by holding treatment actions after the occurrence of damage or have no prior plans for treatment actions. So the purpose of this study is to discuss the determination of treatment actions using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method. 27 types of failures were obtained in conventional lathes with a maximum and minimum RPN value of 240 and 10. In order for treatment measures to be carried out effectively, treatment is focused on 8 types of failures with preventive treatment measures and also corrective treatment measures. Seiring berjalannya waktu, kondisi mesin bubut konvensional yang digunakan untuk proses produksi pada PT. Raja Ampat Indotim mengalami penurunan kemampuan dan fungsi yang akan mengakibatkan kerugian. Namun, tindakan perawatan yang dilakukan di PT. RAI dinilai masih kurang efektif, dikarenakan semua perawaatan yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan tindakan perawatan setelah terjadinya kerusakan atau tidak mempunyai rencana sebelumnya untuk tindakan perawatan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang penentuan tindakan perawatan dengan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Didapatkan 27 jenis kegagalan yang terjadi pada mesin bubut konvensional dengan nilai RPN maksimal dan minimum sebesar 240 serta 10. Supaya tindakan perawatan dapat dilakukan secara efektif, maka penanganan difokuskan pada 8 jenis kegagalan dengan tindakan perawatan preventif dan juga tindakan perawatan korektif.

Abstract

Excessive physical and mental activity will lead to consequences in the form of workload. The workload caused by the demands of the job if it is lower than the ability of the worker is likely to cause boredom, on the contrary if the demands of the job are higher than the ability of the worker it will cause fatigue at work. CV. SBRC is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry, namely the production of gloves. Production activities at CV. SBRC is still done manually or by manpower. This study aims to analyze the physical and mental workload of workers on CV. SBRC. The methods used are Job Strain Index and NASA-TLX. Based on the results of this study, the results of the physical workload analysis showed that 9 out of 10 production processes were included in the hazardous category. While the results of the analysis of the mental workload of workers are in the medium category. To overcome activities that fall into the dangerous category, a proposed improvement plan is made for these work activities. Aktivitas fisik dan mental yang dilakukan manusia secara berlebihan akan menimbulkan konsekuensi berupa beban kerja. Beban kerja yang disebabkan oleh tuntutan pekerjaan jika lebih rendah dari kemampaun pekerja kemungkinan akan menimbulkan kebosanan, sebaliknya jika tuntutan pekerjaan lebih tinggi dari kemampuan pekerja maka akan menimbulkan kelelahan dalam bekerja. CV. SBRC adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri manufaktur, yakni produksi sarung tangan. Aktivitas produksi pada CV. SBRC masih dilakukan dengan cara manual atau tenaga manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja fisik dan mental pekerja pada CV. SBRC. Metode yang digunakan adalah Job Strain Index dan NASA-TLX. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil analisis beban kerja fisik bahwa 9 dari 10 proses produksi termasuk dalam kategori berbahaya. Sedangkan hasil analisis beban kerja mental pekerja berada dalam kategori sedang. Untuk mengatasi aktivitas yang masuk dalam kategori berbahaya maka dilakukan perancangan usulan perbaikan terhadap aktivitas kerja tersebut.

Abstract

One of the main factors to improve product quality is to carry out quality control. The purpose of this research is to reduce or suppress the number of defective tile products produced by controlling quality. The analytical method used in this research is Statistical Process Control (SPC) by calculating the percentage of damage to the product, CL, UCL, and LCL. The results of this study found that quality control in Super Soka Masinal Tile UKM was not controlled, this can be seen based on the calculation that there are 4 points outside the control limit so that the number of rejects exceeds the maximum allowable limit. And based on the Pareto diagram, it is known that the crack defect is the highest defect with a percentage of 44%. Therefore, it is necessary to propose improvements to crack defects using a fishbone diagram. Salah satu faktor utama untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk adalah dengan melakukan pengendalian kualitas. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengurangi ataupun menekan jumlah pada produk cacat genteng yang dihasilkan dengan cara melakukan pengendaian kualitas. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Statistical Process Control (SPC) dengan menghitung persentase kerusakan pada produk, CL, UCL, dan LCL. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pengendalian kualitas di UKM Genteng Super Soka Masinal tidak terkendali, ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan perhitungan terdapat 4 titik berada di luar batas kendali sehingga jumlah reject yang ada melebihi batas maksimal yang diperbolehkan. Dan berdasarkan diagram pareto, diketahui bahwa cacat retak merupakan cacat yang tertinggi dengan persentase 44%. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukannya usulan perbaikan pada cacat retak dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram.
