Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the communication and learning processes by utilizing digital communication. The challenge of adopting digital communication is inevitable when supporting learning shifts from offline to online systems. However, it is necessary to consider the effectiveness factor in order to facilitate adoption. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is a theoretical framework that describes how a technology can be accepted, adopted, and used by society. Two factors influence people's acceptance of technology: perceived ease of use and perceived of usefulness. In the context of learning using digital communication technology, Google Classroom is a learning technology that is considered easy because there are tutorials available that can guide users and make it easy to access. Its advantage is that it facilitates interaction and learning experiences such as the ability to upload various materials and provide direct feedback. In short, the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory to the adoption of digital communication technology in courageous learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can provide understanding and knowledge about aspects that contribute to the adoption and use of technology during times of crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze an open proportional electoral system from the perspective of constitutional law. This research was conducted by examining what is meant by a closed proportional electoral system, legal aspects related to an open proportional electoral system, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of this system. The research method used is a normative juridical approach by collecting data and information through literature studies related to constitutional law and an open proportional electoral system. The results of the study show that an open proportional electoral system reflects true democracy according to Law number 7 of 2017 because the people can actually elect their leaders and representatives in parliament directly. An open proportional system has advantages in encouraging greater political participation and representing more community groups and creating political stability. However, this system also has weaknesses in the government's ability to make effective and quick decisions due to minority votes in parliament, lack of representation of political parties due to the prominence of individual candidates and the complexity of voting. Therefore, this research provides several policy suggestions, such as increasing political education for the public, strengthening political parties as institutions that are able to represent the community well, and increasing social control and oversight mechanisms over the implementation of an open proportional electoral system.

Abstract

About 40% of conditions of glucose intolerance occur in children aged 6-10 to adolescents with cystic fibrosis who are deficient in insulin. Hyperglycemia can occur before a person with cystic fibrosis is diagnosed with CFRD, with a significant reduction in clinical patients in glucose intolerance and an increased risk of lung organ failure. This systematic study aimed to determine the benefits and safety of providing insulin therapy in children and adolescents with Cystic Fibrosis-related Diabetes Mellitus (CFRD). The process of searching published literature through online databases such as Pubmed, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar using the keywords Children, Insulin, Cystic Fibrosis, and Diabetes Mellitus using the Boolean operator "AND". A total of eight studies were selected with criteria not limited to just the type of RCT, patients with an age range of 1 month -18 years were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis-related Diabetes Mellitus (CFRD), and compared with insulin therapy with placebo, other OAD, or no therapy. From the eight kinds of literature that were reviewed systematically, it was shown that the administration of insulin therapy had benefits in improving the clinical status of the patient, such as decreasing the% HbA1c value, increasing FEV1, and improving the patient's nutritional status through the patient's BMI parameter, besides that insulin therapy was considered safe and tolerable by children and adolescents suffering from Cystic Fibrosis-related Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of online media marketing strategies at The Center for Standardization and Services of Crafts and Batik Industry on PNBP achievement from 2020 to 2022. The research method used is quantitative, and the data sources were obtained from the Public Service Report and Information Service Optimization Report of BBSPJIKB in 2020-2022. The data collection technique was done by counting the number of service promotions on online media and the PNBP achievement during the three years. The online media used in this study were Zoom and Instagram social media platforms. The data was analyzed and interpreted descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the promotion of BBSPJIKB services through online media from 2020-2022 did not have an impact on the PNBP achievement, as reflected by the continuous increase in PNBP achievement from 2020-2022 despite the declining trend of service promotions through online media.
