Abstract

Analysis using a fuzzy approach is a solution to the problem of differences in the units of variables to be calculated correlation patterns. Almost all conventional analysis is approached with fuzzy methods. This results in calculations that are closer to the field situation. The Sugeno method is one of several methods in fuzzy analysis used in this study. Satisfaction is a situation where consumers are positive about a service or producer (service/product provider), in economics to find out this, several studies have been conducted. However, in the study, calculations were carried out using a firm set (crisp). While in this study, calculations were carried out using the Sugeno method. The results obtained in this study are the calculation of student satisfaction levels using the Sugeno method consists of several stages, namely: 1. Formation of fuzzy sets of product quality variables, 2. Formation of fuzzy rules that may occur where there are 42 rules, 3. Defuzzification (affirmation) using the weighted average calculation method which produces a defuzzification value of 67.47. Furthermore, research can be developed again using other parameters in determining the level of student loyalty until college graduation.

Abstract

Understanding and utilizing literature written in English in studying is a unique challenge many college students face with English as their foreign language. This research seeks to underline the mediating factor of reading self-efficacy between reading motivation and the usage of metacognitive reading strategies that could improve students’ understanding and mastery of study materials that are written in English. This quantitative study involves students in their second year of college education (n=215), that were asked to fill in a reading self-efficacy questionnaire, motivation for reading questionnaire, and metacognitive reading strategy questionnaire. The result reveals that reading self-efficacy is a complete mediator between reading motivation and reading self-efficacy with an effect size of 0.1504, which is significant in α=99% confidence interval. As an implication, reading self-efficacy is crucial to encourage students to use more effective metacognitive reading strategies in their learning.

Abstract

pandemic, which experienced a significant increase in workload during the COVID-19 pandemic. Burnout is a syndrome characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased work performance, which can be caused by various factors in employee work, including high work stress and various workplace factors such as workload, rewards, job control, and others. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses have a high risk of burnout, due to high work stress, workload, the risk of COVID-19 infection, and also have a high risk of experiencing COVID-19 transmission through close contact with patients. This study aims to analyze the effect of workplace factors and stress management on burnout among nurses at Tarogong Health Center during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive verification study with a census or whole sampling method, namely all nurses at Tarogong Health Center. Primary data were collected through interviews and surveys using the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire, the Quick Burnout Assessment questionnaire, and the stress management questionnaire. In the workplace questionnaire for aspects of workload, control, reward, and fairness, the level is adequate, while the community and values are at a high level, meaning that there is still a need for improvement in workload management, decision making, communication, and a more transparent reward system for nurses in the workplace. Tarogong Health Center. Nurses use individual stress management methods, especially using personal relaxation techniques and discussing with partners or families to manage work stress levels. Burnout is at a moderate level marked by a degree of depersonalization and a mild decline in performance. Workplace and stress management affect the burnout of nurses at Tarogong Health Center, and the influence of workplace on burnout is greater than the effect of stress management so that an increase in workload management, decision making, and effective communication with nurses is needed, workplace interventions and stress management at the Puskesmas are also needed to reduce burnout levels, so management needs to implement stress management programs, both organizationally such as holding recreation for nurses, and need to share a fair share of workload and in active discussion with nurses.

Abstract

Milkfish (Chanos chanos) are plant eaters such as moss, klekap, and plankton (both vegetable and animal). This fish is also one of the economically important types of fish because it is widely consumed by the people of Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia. Gold snail is an additional alternative material for animal protein source and can reduce or replace fish meal in feed formulations. This study aimed to determine the effect of adding gold snail flour to commercial feeds on the growth of milkfish fry and the best dose of gold snail flour in culling milkfish. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). Consisting of 3 treatments and 1 control with 3 replications. treatment A: 100% golden snail flour, treatment B: 75% commercial feed + 25% gold snail flour, treatment C: 50% commercial feed + 50% gold snail flour, control: 100% commercial feed. The study’s results showed that adding gold snail flour to commercial feed had a very significant effect on absolute individual weight growth, absolute length growth and food conversion ratio and had no significant effect on daily growth rate and relative growth rate. The best treatment was treatment B (75% coercive feed + golden snail flour 25%).
