As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the demonstration method in science learning for fourth grade students of SDN 55/I Sridadi. This research is a qualitative research. The informants of this study were fourth grade teachers. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction steps, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of observations made in class IV SDN 55/I Sridadi, the demonstration method is very appropriate to use for science learning. Teachers and students have been able to carry out the stages of implementing learning using the demonstration method, so that the learning process goes well. The interaction between teachers and students, students and students looks good. In addition, students can interact and really understand the material. However, in the learning process there are several obstacles experienced by the teacher. Among them are limited learning resources, learning tools, learning media, situations that are often not easy to manage and limited time. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the demonstration method in science learning at SDN 55/I Sridadi had been carried out quite well, as evidenced by the presence of some of the steps of demonstration activities that had been carried out well by the teacher, such as preparing and conditioning students to study, taking attendance, praying and motivating students, conveying learning objectives and materials, to evaluation activities.

Abstract

This research discusses about the form of literacy implementation at SDN 48/I Penerokan. Literacy is a person's language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). According to the national literacy movement, there are six kinds of basic literacy that students must possess, namely: numeracy literacy, scientific literacy, financial literacy, cultural literacy and digital literacy. This study uses a qualitative research with descriptive method, to describe the activities of teachers and students in the implementation of literacy education at SDN 48/I Penerokan. This study shows that the implementation of literacy education can provide a positive attitude to increase students' abilities and motivate. The problem faced by SDN 48/I Penerokan in the GLS is the low interest in reading in students. With some refraction within a class such as reading 15 minutes before the learning starts while outside ization is a library visit and a reading corner helps students increase student interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student learning creativity in science subjects by using a project based learning model in class V SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Where each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection carried out in 2 cycles. Conducted in class V at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. The results of this study indicate that the application of the project-based learning model has a positive impact on increasing student learning creativity. Increased creativity in each indicator: for indicator 1 there was an increase in 12 students in the very good category, indicator 2 an increase in 6 students in the very good category, indicator 3 an increase in 11 students in the very good category, indicator 4 an increase in 3 students in the category very good, and indicator 5 there is an increase in 3 students in the very good category. The percentage increase in each cycle is: the first cycle of the first meeting the percentage obtained 59.4% increased in the second meeting to 66.25%, in the second cycle the first meeting experienced a percentage increase of 72.92% and the second meeting increased to 81.8%. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is the use of a project based learning model in which the steps are (1) determining basic questions, (2) designing project plans, (3) developing schedules, (4) monitoring students and project progress, ( 5) testing the results and presentation or publication of project results, and (6) evaluating the process of project results, can increase student learning creativity in science subjects in class V SD Negeri 34/I Teratai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the skills of teachers in managing the classroom. This type of research is qualitative as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words from the behavior of the people observed. The subject of this research is the fourth grade teacher at SDN 55/I Sridadi. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's skills in managing the classroom can be done by always getting students to always be disciplined, neat and clean in everything. Classrooms with various decorations so that the class feels comfortable and beautiful. Always make lesson plans for one semester. Using learning resources from books and the internet and several learning media according to the learning material. And have good skills in opening and closing lessons, explaining learning materials, providing reinforcement and guiding group discussions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role as a motivator in increasing the learning interest of third grade students at SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, there are ten ways that teachers do in carrying out their role as motivators. However, from the results of the research described above, there are only eight ways teachers can carry out their role as motivators. The eight ways are: using varied methods, creating competition, giving evaluations or tests, giving grades or numbers, notifying learning outcomes, giving prizes, giving praise, and giving punishment. Meanwhile, two ways that were not seen during the study were helping learning difficulties and forming good habits. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the teacher's role as a motivator in increasing student interest in class III at SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung, is 1) Using various methods, 2) Creating competition / competition, 3) Giving evaluation / test, 4 ) Giving grades or numbers, 5) Informing students' learning outcomes, 6) Giving gifts to students, 7) Giving praise, 8) Giving punishment if they don't do assignments.

Abstract

Study this aim to describe how students perceive Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Islamic Religious Education students regarding the role of academic supervisors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Type study this is study qualitative with the use method intended descriptive to describe how the perceptions of PGMI and PAI students towards the role of academic supervisors. In obtaining research data, researchers use two sources, namely primary and secondary data. The primary data sources used by the informants main are students of PGMI and PAI class of 2019 While the secondary data used covers journals and books. Data collection techniques used are interviews and questionnaires distributed to students. Data analysis techniques consist of three plot activities interactive and ongoing Keep going continuously until completed, namely: 1) Data reduction. 2) Data presentation. And, 3) Interesting conclusion. The results of the research show that students' perceptions of the role of academic supervisors are good, this is evidenced by the good perceptions of students in several indicators. but 3 indicators must be immediately corrected by the role of academic guiding lecturers, namely improving the quality of academic guidance in the field of worship practices, then academic supervisors must reactivate classical meetings at least once a month. As well to academic mentoring lecturers are required to take the time to be easily found by their guidance students.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of increasing student cooperation in learning through the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in grade IV SD Negeri 112/I Perumnas. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which discusses how teachers improve student cooperation through the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in grade IV SD Negeri 112/I Perumnas. The Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model that will be used in the research is conveying the goals and motivations of students, dividing students into small groups of 4-5 people heterogeneously, presenting learning information, the teacher giving assignments to group members to work on. together, the teacher guides group discussions, the teacher gives quizzes or questions for students, awards for the group that gets the highest score, and the teacher provides evaluations and conclusions. Collecting data in this study using observation. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. At each meeting there will be four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research in cycle one show that the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model can improve student cooperation in class IV SD Negeri 112/I Perumnas. It can be seen from the results of observations in the first cycle that the presentation of the successful collaboration of students in class IV SD Negeri 112/I Perumnas is 66.14% with a sufficient predicate (C). In the second cycle the results increased to 75.76% with a good predicate (B).

Abstract

One of the learning tools that can be used is the Student Worksheet or often referred to as LKPD. In addition, LKPD also plays a role in helping teachers in directing students to find concepts through their own activities. With the LKPD, students are expected to be able to carry out learning activities and express their creative ideas both individually and in groups, able to think critically and establish good cooperation with group members. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study with the subject being the fourth grade teacher at SDN 275/VI Bungo Tanjung III. In collecting data, researchers used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data used triangulation method. Based on the data from research results in class IV, it is known that there are several applications in the use of LKPD in the learning process such as making it easier for students to interact with the material provided, presenting tasks that increase students' understanding of the material provided, training students' learning independence, and make it easier for teachers to give assignments to students. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of the use of student worksheets for class IV SD Negeri 275/VI Bungo Tanjung III is in accordance with teaching materials and can be seen on the student activity sheets including: Title LKPD, Introduction, Activity Objectives, Tools and materials, Activity Steps, Tables/observations, Questions, Conclusions.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the increase in students' responsible attitudes through the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 64/I Muara Bulian. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, where the data taken is in the form of observation data through observation sheets of student responsibility attitudes and teacher observations using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study showed an increase in the attitude of student responsibility as seen from the results of observations in the first cycle of student responsibility attitude of 39.28%. It increased in the second cycle to 74.77% with category B (good). Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the attitude of students' responsibility in social studies learning for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 64/I Muara Bulian can increase after the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is applied.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of chants in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 64/I Teratai, describing the implementation of games in increasing student interest in learning, and describing the implementation of exercise in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 64/I Teratai. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SDN 64/I Lotus. Research data sources consist of informants, and documentation. Data collection techniques with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research data analysis includes, 1). Data collection, 2). Organizing or grouping the collected data according to the nature of the existing categories. Data analysis was carried out through four stages including, 1). Data reduction, 2). Data presentation, 3). Verification and conclusion. Meanwhile, checking the validity of the data is done by using the triangulation technique of data sources. The results of this study, are (1) the implementation of yells in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 64/I Teratai, namely using yells when learning in class, yelling is applied when class conditions start to be less conducive. The teacher invites students to sing yells as a distraction. Students can also make chants individually or in groups with a duration of about 3-5 minutes. (2) the implementation of games in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 64/I Teratai is to make learning more interesting and fun, so games can be used that can build children's concentration to be able to think, act, and refocus on the material so that children's interest in learning is more good and easy to digest lessons. (3) the implementation of exercise in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 64/I Teratai, namely in implementing exercise, it is carried out when students look sluggish after sitting for a long time just listening to the explanation of the material that the teacher conveys, then with exercise the blood flow will become smooth again so that the thinking process of students is fresher and more effective. Teachers can creatively use variations of body movements.
