Abstract

ABSTRAK: Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah sebagai daerah penghasil buah durian. Pendapatan dan pemasaran hasil produk pertanian khususnya durian menjadi perhatian sebab merupakan sumber pendapatan bagi para petani untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Kabupaten Poso, durian sebagai komoditas unggulan dan menjadi komoditas utama setelah alpukat, belimbing dan langsat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Taunca Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Poso dan dilakukan selama tiga bulan yaitu dari bulan September 2022 sampai bulan November 2022. Desa Taunca dipilih karena Desa tersebut menjadi salah satu sentra produksi durian montong yang ada di Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Poso. Rata- rata pendapatan petani di Desa Taunca Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Poso sebesar Rp. 28.996.252 dalam satu tahun. Proses pemasaran Durian Montong di Desa Taunca Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Poso menggunakan saluran tingkat satu yaitu dari produsen, pedagang pengumpul sampai kepada konsumen, dengan nilai margin pemasaran sebesar Rp.8.750/ kg. Usahatani Durian Montong layak diusahakan karena mempunyai tingkat pendapatan yang tinggi dari hasil penjualan. Selain itu Durian motong merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang menjanjikan bagi Indonesia karena mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar nasional dan internasional. Oleh karena itu perlu perhatian pemerintah untuk lebih memperhatikan petani yang menjalankan usahatani Durian montong.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Pamona Selatan salah satu kecamatan yang berhasil menjadi lumbung beras dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi beras di Kabupaten Poso setiap tahunnya. Besarnya peran petani dalam mengembangkan usahatani padi erat kaitannya dengan kompetensi yang dimiliki petani. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Bo’e Kecamatan Pamona Selatan Kabupaten Poso. Desa Bo’e Sebagai sentra komoditas padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei–Agustus 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, melalui metode survei dengan menggunakan kuisioner atau daftar pertanyaan kepada petani atau responden yang telah disusun sebelumnya. Peran penyuluh pertanian berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kompetensi petani. Penigkatan peran penyuluh berpotensi meningkatkan kompetensi petani padi sawah di Desa Bo’e Kecamatan Pamona Selatan Kabupaten Poso. Peningkatan kompetensi baik budidaya, pemanenan, pascapanen dan pemasaran dapat di lakukan melalui peningkatan peran penyuluh baik sebagai komunikator, fasilitator, advistor, motivator, edukator, dan organisator. ABSTRACT: South Pamona is one of the sub-districts that has succeeded in becoming a rice barn and is able to meet the needs of rice consumption in Poso Regency every year. The large role of farmers in developing rice farming is closely related to the competence of farmers. The research was conducted in Bo'e Village, South Pamona District, Poso Regency. Bo'e Village as a center for rice commodities. The research was conducted in May-August 2020. The type of research used was quantitative research, through a survey method using a questionnaire or a list of questions to farmers or respondents that had been prepared previously. The role of agricultural extension workers has an effect on increasing farmer competence. Increasing the role of extension workers has the potential to increase the competence of rice farmers in Bo'e Village, South Pamona District, Poso Regency. Increasing competence in cultivation, harvesting, post-harvest and marketing can be done by increasing the role of extension workers as communicators, facilitators, advisors, motivators, educators, and organizers..

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                          Sektor pertanian memiliki peran penting sebagai sumber utama bagi pendapatan petani. Padi adalah salah satu komoditas pertanian utama, karena merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi penduduk, terutama di Desa Kilo, Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Utara, Kabupaten Poso, di mana mayoritas penduduknya adalah petani padi sawah. Penelitian dilakukan dari April hingga September 2019 di Desa Kilo, Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Utara, Kabupaten Poso. Populasi penelitian mencakup 68 petani padi sawah di desa tersebut. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan semua petani yang menjadi responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan rata-rata petani padi sawah di Desa Kilo adalah Rp. 3.612.217 per bulan, dengan nilai R/C-ratio sebesar 4,15, yang menunjukkan bahwa usahatani padi sawah di desa layak untuk dijalankan. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produktivitas meliputi luas lahan, penggunaan pupuk, dan teknik penggunaan peralatan yang tepat, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas dan pendapatan petani padi sawah di Desa Kilo. ABSTRACTThe agricultural sector plays an important role as the main source of income for farmers. Rice is one of the main agricultural commodities, because it is a staple food for the population, especially in Kilo Village, Poso Pesisir Utara District, Poso Regency, where the majority of the population are rice farmers. The study was conducted from April to September 2019 in Kilo Village, Poso Pesisir Utara District, Poso Regency. The study population included 68 rice farmers in the village. Data were obtained through interviews with all farmers who were respondents. The results of the study showed that the average income of rice farmers in Kilo Village was IDR 3,612,217 per month, with an R/C-ratio value of 4.15, indicating that rice farming in the village is feasible to run. Factors that influence productivity include land area, fertilizer use, and proper equipment use techniques, all of which contribute to increasing the productivity and income of rice farmers in Kilo Village..

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bibit yang baik dan berkualitas diperoleh dari benih yang baik dan berkualitas yang ditumbuhkan pada media tanam yang berkualitas. Salah satu indicator kualitas media tanam adalah kadar bahan organic tanah. Di dalam tanah, bahan organic akan memperbaiki tanah secara fisik, kimia dan biologi. Daun gamal merupakan salah satu jenis bahan yang dapat dibuat kompos yang dapat diaplikasikan ke dalam tanah. Telah dilakukan penelitian berbagai dosis kompos daun gamal (0, 9, 11, 13 dan 15 g/polybag) pada pembibitan kopi arabika. Setiap perlakuan diulang empat kali dan disusun menurut rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Sampel tanah dikompositkan menurut perlakuan lalu dianalisis kadar bahan organiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kompos daun gamal meningkatkan kadar bahan organik tanah pembibitan kopi arabika. Setiap kenaikan satu satuan dosis kompos daun gamal akan meningkatkan kadar bahan organik tanah sebesar 0,2278 kali dengan tingkat keeratan hubungan 87,42%. ABSTRACT: Good and quality seeds are obtained from good and quality seeds grown in quality planting media One indicator of the quality of the planting medium is the level of soil organic matter. In the soil, organic matter will improve the soil physically, chemically and biologically. Gamal leaves are a type of compostable material that can be applied to the soil. Research has been carried out on various doses of gamal leaf compost (0, 9, 11, 13 and 15 g/polybag) on Arabica coffee nurseries. Each treatment was repeated four times and arranged according to a randomized block design (RBD). Soil samples were composited according to treatment and then analyzed for organic matter content. The results showed that the application of gamal leaf compost increased the organic matter content of Arabica coffee nursery soil. Each increase in one unit dose of gamal leaf compost will increase soil organic matter levels by 0.2278 times with a closeness level of 87.42%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Semangka (Citrullus Lanatus) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang termasuk dalam famili Cucurbitaceae (labu-labuan), Buah semangka mempunyai kandungan vitamin A, vitamin C, dan vitamin lainnya serta antioksidan kuat yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan dan dapat mencegah dehidrasi karena banyaknya air di dalamnya. Untuk mempertahankan permintaan produksi, perlu melakukan teknik budidaya tanaman yang baik salah satunya dengan melakukan pemberian pupuk agar memenuhi kebutuhan unsur hara tanaman semangka, Salah satu pupuk organik yang mampu menunjang kebutuhan unsur tamanan semangka yaitu pupuk guano. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis pupuk guano dan dosis yang terbaik dari penggunaan pupuk guano pada tanaman semangka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Ranononcu Kecamatan Poso Kota Selatan Kabupaten Poso. Berada pada titik koordinat Latitude –1.4224330 dan Longitude 120.7649870, Sulawesi Tengah, dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei–Juni 2024. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial yang menggunakan Pupuk Guano sebagai perlakuan dengan 5 taraf dosis yaitu S0 : Tanpa Gupuk Guano (kontrol), S1 : Pupuk Guano 5 ton/ha (2.800 gram/bedengan), S2 : Pupuk Guano 10 ton/ha (5.600 gram/bedengan), S3 : Pupuk Guano 15 ton/ha (8.400 gram/bedengan), S4 : Pupuk Guano 20 ton/ha( 11.200 gram/bedengan). Belum ditemukan dosis yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan tanaman semangka.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pembibitan tanaman menjadi salah satu faktor penting yang harus di perhatikan dalam membudidayakan tanaman kopi. Pemberian kompos johar dapat membantu mencukupi kebutuhan unsur hara yang diperlukan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika pada tanah inceptisol. Aplikasi berbagai dosis kompos johar (0, 9, 11, 13 dan 15 g/tanaman) diatur menurut rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dan diulang empat kali, telah dilaksanakan di Desa Lape Kecamatan Poso Pesisir pada bulan Februari sampai Juli 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kompos johar berpengaruh nyata terhadap lilit batang umur 6, 8, 10 dan 12 minggu setelah tanam (MST), berat kering akar dan panjang akar, berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 14 dan 16 MST, lilit batang umur 14 dan 16 MST serta bobot basah tajuk, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap waktu berkecambah, jumlah daun, bobot kering tajuk dan laju pertumbuhan relatif. Aplikasi kompos johar 13 g/tanaman memberikan pertumbuhan bibit yang lebih baik dan berbeda nyata dengan tanpa aplikasi kompos (kontrol). ABSTRACT: Plant nursery is one of the important factors that must be considered in cultivating coffee plants. The provision of johar compost can help meet the nutrient needs of plants. This study aims to determine the growth response of Arabica coffee seedlings on inceptisol soil. The application of various doses of johar compost (0, 9, 11, 13 and 15 g/plant) arranged according to a randomized block design (RAK) and repeated four times, has been carried out in Lape Village, Poso Pesisir District from February to July 2023. The results showed that the application of johar compost had a significant effect on stem circumference at ages 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks after planting (WAP), root dry weight and root length, had a very significant effect on plant height at ages 14 and 16 WAP, stem circumference at ages 14 and 16 WAP and wet weight of the crown, but had no significant effect on germination time, number of leaves, dry weight of the crown and relative growth rate. Application of 13 g/plant of Johar compost provided better seedling growth and was significantly different from no compost application (control).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving liquid organic fertilizer POC goat urine fermented with EM4 (Effective Microorganisms) with different concentrations on the productivity of Pakchong grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Thailand). The design of this study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments given consisted of five types, namely: P0 as a control using urine without fermentation, P1 using urine fermented with EM4 as much as 1%, P2 using urine fermented with EM4 as much as 2%, P3 using urine fermented with EM4 as much as 3%, and P4 using urine fermented with EM4 as much as 4%. Response to Pakchong grass by applying the fermentation results to each treatment with 50 ml/stem by sprinkling it around the stem for each treatment. The first fertilization of POC was done after 2 weeks after planting and was done 3 times with an interval of 1 week 1 week before harvest. The parameters observed were height increase, number of tillers, leaf length, leaf width, and fresh and dry forage production. Data from observations and measurements were analyzed statistically, if there was a significant difference then continued with testing using DMRT. The results of the analysis of the parameters observed from the effect of several uses of POC from goat urine showed a significant difference (p <0.05) on the parameters used, with the results that the higher the concentration of EM4 used, the better the parameters.

Abstract

Growth, production and fruit quality of mangosteen are determined by the nutrient content of the soil in their plantations. Analysis of soil chemical properties, such as pH and organic matter content, as well as other nutrients content in mangosteen plantations is very important to determine the level of soil fertility. The soil analysis result should be the base to calculate fertilizer recommendations to improve soil fertility and increase mangosteen yields. This research was conducted in Kamba village, Pamona Timur district, Poso regency, from Sept  2024 to March 2025. The objective of this study was to identify the chemical properties of soil in mangosteen plantations in Kamba Village and to obtain recommendations for fertilization to increase the quantity and quality of mangosteen fruit in the future. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a land survey and supported by laboratory analysis. Soil samples were taken from 10 mangosteen trees located in the north, east, west, south and center. The soil was taken from four different points under each tree and then combined. After that, the samples were prepared and then analyzed in the laboratory. Based on the results of soil analysis, the content of macronutrients and CEC in mangosteen plantations in Kamba Village were categorized as very low - medium category, so additional nutrients are needed to increase plant production. The recommended fertilizer dose for P is 500-1200 g/plant, for K is 621 - 921 g/plant and for Ca is 988 g/plant

Abstract

Soil organic matter is an important factor that determines soil fertility and health. This is very important for plant growth, development and yield. Elevation influences the climate elements of a region and subsequently influences the decomposition of organic matter, and then affects the decomposition of organic materials. This study aims to determine the organic material content in the soil under cocoa plants in the lowlands and highlands. The amount of organic matter content in the soil can be predicted from the results of the C-organic content analysis, namely by multiplying the C-organic content by a constant as a correction factor, namely 1.724. The organic C content was determined from composite soil samples taken at 10 sites at each location starting from the surface soil to a depth of approximately 20-30 cm. The results of the study showed that in the same area, the soil organic matter content was higher on slopes (3.84% in lowlands and 4.62% in highlands) where the soil surface was covered with litter compared to valleys (1.48% in lowlands and 2.6% in highlands) which were surface water flow areas. Furthermore, in areas with the same landscape (slopes or valleys), the soil organic matter content is higher in the highlands (4.62% on slopes and 2.6% in valleys) compared to the lowlands (3.84% on slopes and 1.48% in valleys).

Abstract

Rice is the main staple food of the people in Indonesia, so rice production has a strategic role in national food security. In Central Sulawesi, the agricultural sector, especially rice farming, is the main source of income for most households. This study aims to analyze the amount of income obtained by farmers from rice farming and its contribution to the level of welfare of farmer households. The population was carried out in Sawidago Village North Pamona District Poso Regency Central Sulawesi Province. The study population consisted of 453 farmers who joined 11 farmer groups, and 81 farmers were selected as samples. The results showed that the average income of lowland rice farmers per planting season was IDR 2,255,291 or equivalent to IDR 576,322 per month, which is below the Poso Regency Minimum Wage of IDR 2,586,036 per month. Nevertheless, rice farming made a large contribution to the total income of farmer households, namely 61%. The level of welfare of farming households, measured by indicators such as population, education, employment, household consumption or expenditure patterns, housing, and social environment, indicates that the majority of farmers are in the prosperous category. The results of this study indicate that although income from rice farming is relatively low, its contribution to household income structure is quite significant. Therefore, an active role for farmers is needed to improve their family's welfare.
