Dinamika Bahari merupakan jurnal berkala bidang nautika, teknika dan tata laksana angkutan laut dan kepelabuhanan yang dimiliki Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang yang terbit 2 kali setahun, yaitu pada bulan Mei dan Oktober. Dinamika Bahari memuat hasil penelitian, ide, dan gagasan dosen, pengajar, taruna, peneliti serta akademisi di bidang transportasi laut. Dinamika Bahari terbuka bagi masyarakat umum yang ingin mempelajari hasil-hasil penelitian para dosen atau penulis lainnya. Masyarakat juga bisa bergabung menjadi penulis (sebagai akademisi), atau menjadi reviewers sesuai dengan bidang keilmuan masing-masing yang dibutuhkan oleh jurnal ini.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe shipping business feels the importance of the risk of financial responsibility arisingfrom the operation of ships, the obligation of ship owners/operators must be responsible forthe safety of passengers and the cargo they carry in the event of an accident causing injuryor causing loss to passengers, as well as loss/damage to transported cargo and losses tothird parties, namely by transferring risk to other parties where the other party as therecipient of the risk and being able to manage the risk are insurance companies. In this casethe ship owner and operator can guarantee the risks of responsibility that arise with P & IClub insurance. In this case the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive writing method todescribe and describe the object under research. In addition, this research also usesobservation, interviews and literature.From an analysis of the matter he added group of researchers from came to theconclusion that the process of and settlement of the insurance claim had been completed andwas although there have been a obstacles faced. Constraints faced in the process andsettlement of claims are complete claims documents, selection of contracting companies, andsocio-economic conditions and weather. The efforts made in reducing the are, research theownership documents contractor in accordance the classification of PT. Pertamina as wellas persuasive approach it cooperates with BMKG case and supervision from PT. Pertaminadivision marine in repairing process

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia challenges several developed countries with sophisticated and structured technological systems, which are influencing technology in Indonesia. Likewise a company company is a lot of assets important and must be ordered properly processed appropriately needed system usage computerized. In the era of excellent service, Gold Bridge Shipping Ltd must provide fast service, open, and professional for invited partners. Therefore, the purchasing process must be use information technology so that the service process is carried out systematically. However The computerized system has not been fully implemented in the Procurement Department so Stop the activities in the Procurement department. This research The Department of Performance Procurement uses and does not use a computerized system. Method the research used is descriptive qualitative. The data source used is library research, interview and documentation. Results of this research the use of computerized systems according to computer specifications that have not been updated, system interruption computers, database system management, computer component damage, and lack of human resources

Abstract

ABSTRACT The process of container loading is one of the important things that need to be considered in the implementation of loading and unloading. Good or bad loading of cargo is one of the factors that greatly affect the safety of the cargo, even the stability of the ship when carrying out the voyage. This research aims to further increase knowledge about how to use lashings equipment in accordance with their respective functions as well as better container handling methods. according to the correct procedure. This research was carried out on board the MV. Oriental Ruby, which is one of the fleet owned by PT. SPIL. The twelve-month-one-day research was conducted at the time the authors conducted the Sea Practice (Prala), so that the source of the data was obtained directly from the research site with information-based observations. The results of this study showed that there were still many deficiencies that occurred in the process of carrying out cargo handling, both in terms of knowledge and equipment. The author believes by providing an overview of the method of container sealing, the crew will have knowledge of the technique of cargo loading by increasing the optimization of cargo handling so that there is no shift in load which can have a negative effect on the stability of the ship, or the cargo itself

Abstract

ABSTRACTShip cargo is an object of transportation in the sea transportation system, by transporting the cargo ofa commercial shipping company that can obtain revenue in the form of mining money which is verydecisive in the survival of the company and financing port activities. The several events on board thatoccurred such as load damage caused by the lack of skills of the crew in handling cargo.The methodused in this study is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data in the form of written wordsfrom people and observed behavior. The subject process and meaning are more highlighted inqualitative research. The data collection techniques used such as observation and documentation.Ship cargo (cargo) is an object of transportation in the sea transportation system, by transporting thecargo of a commercial shipping company. Therefore, handling cargo on board is very important toget profit for the company. To support cargo security, human resources are experts in their fields,namely those who have skills in handling cargo. Without handling the load by the cargo crew can bedamaged, and can cause losses to the company. From the above problems we can discuss how toimprove the skills of the ship's crew in handling cargo

Abstract

Marine Growth Prevention System (MGPS) is an anti-fouling machine used to prevent excessive growth of marine biota and rust in the sea water cooling system. The purpose of this study was to determine the decline in MGPS performance factors, the impact of these factors, and the efforts made to optimize the performance of MGPS. The method used in this study is qualitative, using Fishbone and SHEL data analysis techniques. Fishbone is used to analyze possible problem factors and then analyze and categorize problem priorities using the SHEL technique. The results of the study concluded that the decline in MGPS performance was caused by inaccurate voltage regulation, the use of anodes that exceeded the age limit, sea water conditions or elements, and lack of knowledge of an engineer. This has an impact on the MGPS performance on the cooling system on the ship. To overcome these factors, operation and maintenance of MGPS machining must be based on a manual book, replace anodes that are over the age limit, and provide training to engineers about MGPS machining

Abstract

Filling up water for boiler need a control system for fill up the water into the boiler. This control system using integrated circuit with the logic gates. there is some way for make the control system for boiler water fill up. This control system will be simulated using the integrated circuit that can operated by manual or auto. The purpose of this study is knowing how to make boiler water filling up simulation using integrated circuit logic gates that can operated by manual or auto like in the MV.Tanto Setia. Study methodes that we use is descriptive method for describe and explain the process of make the simulation toolsfor boiler water fill up also the theory that connect with controlling the tools. Experiments and savings are directly carried out in the process of making tool control to match what is expected. The result of this simulation using circuit IC NOR 4001 Boiler water fill up effected by water level sensor. But the sensor will not effect if the control put to manual mode. The integrated circuit more easy to understand for the beginner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors can cause ship delays, and how to reduce them. The type of observation used is descriptive qualitative. This observation takes place at the Port of Anging Mamiri Makassar. Sources of data obtained from sources (informants), events or activities, documents and archives. The results showed that the cause of the delay in ship departure could be in the form of erratic weather factors, disorderly delivery, visitors, hawkers and baggage workers in the embarkation and debarkation of passengers, as well as engine damage. Efforts made to reduce delays are to always carry out routine checks on ship engines, always inquire and check the weather conditions at the next port port, and do not allow deliveries, visitors, hawkers and baggage workers to get on board.

Abstract

Based on Marine Pollution (MARPOL) Convention Annex VI Regulation 14, commercial vessels are required to use low sulfur fuel (LSFO) with a sulfur content below 0.5% or continue to use heavy fuel (High Sulfur Fuel Oil - HSFO) with a sulfur content above 0.5% but you must install an exhaust gas cleaning system or scrubber. Indonesia is a member of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) so it must comply with these rules. This study aims to analyze the use of fuels with sulfur content below 0.5% or above 0.5% based on the power and costs incurred in order to comply with the Marpol Convention Annex VI Regulation 14. The data analysis techniques used in this study, for power, use Dulong formula, then the cost is reviewed from the comparison of the purchase of HSFO and LSFO along with the cost of purchasing and installing the scrubber. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the power produced by HSFO was greater than that of LSFO with a ratio of 1.15. Then, ship owners will get more profit if they invest in the purchase and installation of scrubbers on their ships than replacing the original HSFO fuel with LSFO.

Abstract

Ship Classification Agency is a service business that is different from other industrial fields. By looking at the links and participation in the pace of the maritime industry and the existence of the Ship Classification rules which were made as a reference, the essence of the existence of shipping services from the Classification Board has a strong background to support the advancement of the maritime industry. Clearly, the Ship Classification Bureau must establish and establish standards or benchmarks, guidelines or rules for reference from planning, construction, and periodic surveys of commercial ships and other forms of marine building construction. Class certificate which shows the regulations of the rules will describe the ship concerned as having the construction feasibility and the machines to be used as planned. Thus, a ship classified will provide security for life and the goods transported on the ship, including the prevention of pollution from the surrounding sea which is caused in its operations.

Abstract

Vessel operational costs are dominated by fuel purchases. Furthermore, monitoring the consumption of fuel oil on the ship is not given enough attention, because the officers concentrate more on how the ship can move to its destination. The purpose of this study is to determine the correction that must be done as well as the impact caused if the consumption of fuel oil through the flowmeter on the ship is corrected using ASTM-IP. The subjects of this study were four vessels in the PT. S. I. Ship Management with specific graphity (SG) of 0.9601. From the results of the study show the output data flowmeter on the main engine must be multiplied by the factor for reducting the volume to 15o C in ASTM-IP so that it has an impact on the accuracy in reporting fuel consumption. As a result operational costs are reduced and the ship company can sell its services competitively
