Abstract

This study investigates the state and development of the Arabic language curriculum at Rumah Tahfidz, with a particular emphasis on the integration of Al-Qur'an memorisation and vocabulary comprehension.  Observations and interviews with teachers and administrators indicate that the current curriculum is still undocumented and informal. Furthermore, without systematic guidelines, learning emphasises mechanical memorisation.  To ensure that students can not only memorise verses but also understand the vocabulary of the Qur'an, it is necessary to develop an integrative curriculum that combines linguistic understanding with verse memorisation.  The use of educational digital media such as Think Qur'an, interactive flash cards, and short videos that increase teacher motivation and engagement opens up further opportunities for development. The next focus of development is to create a simple contextual mini-curriculum, using Qur'anic vocabulary, and equipped with simple evaluations in the form of short dialogues or word meaning quizzes.  This study provides the basis for developing a flexible, organised, and meaningful Arabic language curriculum model for Rumah Tahfidz. This model will support the achievement of educational objectives that include memorising and understanding the content of the Qur'an in context.

Abstract

The problem at SMP Plus Maryam Binti Ibrahim Aceh Besar is that  the students are not able to understand Na’at and Man’ut . This research aims to identify the effectiveness the use of Interactive Power Point media to increase students’  ability to understand Na’at and Man’ut . The research method in this research is pre experimental method with the one group pre-test and post-test design. To collect the data, the researcher used the test . The result of this research is the using of Interactive Power Point media is effective to increase students’  ability to understand Na’at and Man’ut. Furthermore, it was found that the result of the T-Test is a significance level (2- tailed) 0.00<0.05. This value shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected.

Abstract

Discourse on jihad in hadith studies often becomes distorted due to the separation of texts from their historical and pragmatic contexts, which in turn leads to the legitimation of violence and the rise of religious militancy. This study develops an integrated analytical model to restore the meaning of jihad within the framework of propheticethics and communication. By combining a pragmatic speech-act approach with Berger and Luckmann’s social construction theory, this analytical framework links the communicative functions of the Prophet’s sayings—including illocutionary types, linguistic conditions, implicatures, asbāb al-wurūd, and the context of defensivewarfare—with the social construction of hadith meaning through externalization, objectivation, and internalization. Three key hadiths are examined: umirtu an uqātila an-nās, al-harb khud‘ah, and the prohibition against killing women and children. Findings reveal their directive-defensive, representative–commissive, and normative declarative characteristics, which affirm Islamic ethics of warfare. Sociologically, the three hadiths construct a rational, ethical, and humanistic understanding of jihad. In the digital era, literalist reception often ignores historical and communicative contexts, making contextual hadith literacy increasingly urgent. This study offers humanistic warethics principles and recommends expanding cross-madhhab hadith studies as well asdigital reception research for Islamic education and deradicalization initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the basic concept of linguistic corpora, describe their usage, and analyze their potential in improving the quality of Arabic language learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review and interview approach. The data are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that linguistic corpora have significant potential to support digital-based Arabic language learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The use of corpora not only serves as a tool for linguistic analysis but also functions as an educational innovation that can enhance students’ critical thinking skills, digital literacy, and Arabic language proficiency in a measurable and contextual manner. The implications of this study include the expansion of knowledge regarding the use of linguistic corpora in Arabic language learning and facilitating educators in implementing corpora in Arabic language teaching
