Abstract

It is customary for the students of the Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School to read the poetry of Zakiaria Al-Ansori after the fardu prayer. The verse is read repeatedly by the students. This is interesting for research to examine how students respond when reading these poems. Of course the poems that are recited have an impact on the santri themselves in the form of peace of mind, sharing, and blessings. To produce data, researchers used observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that some of the respondents when reading the poem did not make an impression and only as ordinary reading, of course, due to ignorance of the poem. So by knowing the meaning, the respondent will be able to absorb the poetry reading which is done after the five daily prayers. This research is a field research with a reception aesthetic approach.

Abu Tammam is considered a great Arab poet of his time. Abu Tammam created various poems from different topics such as spinning, praise, satire, and some of his poems include nature poetry about spring. Based on this, the researchers view that they should to be studied and analyzed the issue, and then compare the two poems of both poets. The study aims to show their creativity in formulating the two poems, and to reveal the aspects of agreements and disagreement between their vision, using the descriptive analytical method before resorting to the American School approach in comparative study, where the study attempts to highlight on the similiarites and differences between the two studied poems. The study found that both poems are full of descriptive styles by the presence of plants and rain. However, the use of descriptive styles in the two poems differs from one poet to another. Where Matsuo Basho deals in his poetry with styles that refer to the signs of nature from the names of animals such as birdds, sparrows, butterflies, mice and bats, and these nouns were not found in Abu Tamam’s poem. While the names of the cosmic such as the sun, the moon and the earth combined more for description or similes and metaphor in Abu Tamam poem. These differences are due to the difference in culture, language, and geographical condition between the two studied literatures: Arabs and Japan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in the forms of the process of absorption of vocabulary in religious terms from Arabic into Indonesian and to find out the differences in the spelling of the absorption of the same vocabulary from Arabic into Indonesian. This study used a quantitative research method with a library study approach. Library Studies is an approach in research that involves an analysis of existing sources of information. This approach aims to gather knowledge through analysis of literature similar to current research. The results of this study indicate that some of the vocabulary in Indonesian is the absorption of foreign languages, one of which comes from Arabic. The arrival of the Arabs to Indonesia around the 7th century AD had the aim of trading, besides that they also spread Islam, which until now has become the majority religion in Indonesia. language absorption processes have many classifications, but in this study the researchers focused on four classifications of word absorption processes, namely Lenition, Multiple Consonants, Alpheresis, and Syncope. An example of the Arabic word "Al-Masjidu" after the absorption word changes to "Mosque", this is one example of the process of absorbing Arabic into Indonesia with the Alpheresis process. The impact of the absorption of Arabic spelling into Indonesian is to enrich the vocabulary of the Indonesian language. Of course, without changing the meaning of the content, only absorbing a little spelling.
