Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop approach-based electronic teaching materials Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) on systems of equations and linear inequalities to improve high school students' valid and practical mathematical problem solving abilities. This research method uses research and development with a 4D model. Data was collected using questionnaires, observations and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Teaching materials are said to be valid and practical if the score obtained is more than 70%. The results of this research show that electronic teaching materials are based The CTL approach was developed to increase mathematical problem solving abilities  for high school students get score mean 89% with very valid category. The results of student responses in the limited trial obtained a score of 90.28% in the very practical category. The student response results in the field trial were 90.35% with very practical criteria. The teacher response results were 94.14% with the very practical category and the observation sheet 90.6% with the very practical criteria. From the results of validity and practicality, it can be seen that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use as learning resources.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the validity of STEM-CT-based textbooks in improving multi-representation abilities in MTs students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of four stages, i.e., Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study only discussed preparing textbooks' Define, Design, and Develop stages. The research participants were teachers of the Science MGMP in Banyuwangi. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The analysis used in this research was descriptive and qualitative. The data processing results for STEM-CT-based textbooks to improve multi-representational abilities in MTs students obtained a validity value of 82.86 in the very valid or usable category. The validation results showed that the STEM-CT-based textbooks developed could be used for classroom learning to improve students' multi-representation abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of college adjustment and domains of emotional intelligence among final-year students (7th semester) with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. This research used a correlational method with a non-experimental quantitative approach. The study respondents were final-year students of the Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, who participated in MBKM activities outside the university during the sixth semester and resumed regular classes during the seventh semester. Among 72 eligible students, 67 participated in the study. The instruments used to measure college adjustment and emotional intelligence were the translated version of Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) and an instrument based on Goleman's emotional intelligence theory, respectively. Correlation tests were conducted using the Pearson Product Moment. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation between college adjustment and emotional intelligence (r = 0.410, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the analysis proved correlations among certain dimensions of college adjustment and domains of emotional intelligence. The implications highlight the role of MBKM activities in enhancing students' skills to support their adaptation and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the evaluation implementation of industrial field practices in the informatics engineering education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Putra Indonesia "YPTK" Padang. This research used an evaluation method with the Tyler Evaluation Model (Goal Oriented Model). Based on this method, data was collected through the following steps: 1). Identify the objectives of industrial field practice; 2) formulate indicators for the achievement goals that have been set; 3) formulate the data obtained with indicators. The main objective is divided into sub-component objectives, namely: sub-component of program objectives, sub-component of attitudes, and sub-component of achieving program objectives. All indicators included in the sub-components were analyzed using the mixed method technique (quantitative and qualitative) and obtained an average score of 84.4 %. It means that the implementation of industrial field practice in the informatics engineering education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Putra Indonesia "YPTK" Padang, is in a good category. The impact of the implementation of industrial field practices can run smoothly in accordance with the program objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the success of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in the elements of Service, Trade, and Manufacturing Company Accounting. The approach used in this research was qualitative with a case study method. This research selected one vocational school with high integrity, namely SMKN 1 Banyudono, with several informants consisting of students in Financial and Institutional Accounting classes, Accounting Teachers, and the School Principal. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation studies, with data validity tested through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The collected data was analyzed through three activities: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that PjBL had a positive impact on students' learning outcomes, the quality of learning, and learning motivation. However, its weakness laid in requiring longer project implementation time and preparation. Nevertheless, PjBL can create an innovative learning environment, make graduates more prepared for the industrial world, and have a positive impact on students' learning outcomes and the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SMAN 4 Bandung as a form of meaningful learning. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and document analysis related to the project's implementation. Analysis of data using triangulation technique to reconfirm every data from a different view. The results showed that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project was designed to develop students' character and competence in accordance with Pancasila values. Students learn through direct experience and contextual cross-disciplinary projects relevant to their daily lives. Research orientation, case study, planning design, and implementation action designed in an exploratory and collaborative manner encourage students to hone their critical thinking skills, collaboration, and independence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a digital-based family health education model for the prevention of anemia in Junior High School Students. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach involving 100 families of female students, who filled out questionnaires regarding their knowledge of anemia, health education, use of digital media, and knowledge and compliance with consuming iron tablets. The data analysis technique in this research used frequency distribution. The results showed that most families lacked knowledge about the signs, consequences, and prevention of anemia, although almost all respondents recognized the importance of family education for anemia prevention. In addition, almost all Junior High School Students had good knowledge of anemia, and almost all families had access and use of WhatsApp as digital media. However, the compliance of Junior High School Students in consuming iron tablets needed improvement. These findings highlight the need for developing a digital-based family health education program utilizing WhatsApp to enhance knowledge and compliance in anemia prevention. It is hoped that this intervention will create sustainable behavioral changes and positively impact the health of adolescent girls.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and validate the digitalization product of the Sato Kewan fairy tale as a Javanese language educational medium for elementary school students. This research uses the development method (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model to design a learning system. This development model goes through five steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation questionnaire for linguists and media experts is a research instrument. Data analysis techniques include qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on data from validity results by linguists and media experts on the stop motion animation video of Sato Kewan's fairy tale, the media is a suitable criterion for use. For the language aspect, the language expert scored 75%, and the content aspect was 80%. The visual aspect got 75%, the audio aspect 83%, and 83% effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to develop website learning media (mobirise) based on guided discovery learning on high school chemistry subjects to increase students' understanding and interest in learning buffer solution material. This study used the research and development method with the ADDIE model, which includes five research stages: design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques in this study were interviews, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result showed that validation results by material experts and media experts with a percentage of 100% with category very valid. The results of the assessment of the three reviewers received an average score of 89.4, an ideal level of 89.4%, with a very good category. The results of 30 students' responses showed an average score of 92.3 and an ideal percentage of 92.3% with a very good category, so learning media based on guided discovery learning can be feasible for learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the leadership traits of effective school principals in improving the quality of education. The method used in this research was a mixed method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this research were principals, teachers, and education personnel in Semarang Regency. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage and categorical, while qualitative data were analyzed using an interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that the personality traits of effective principals in improving the quality of education include: aspects of intelligence in the high category (85%), aspects of self-confidence (85%), persistence (88%), integrity (90%), and agreeableness (94%) included in the very high category. The findings of this study showed that principals' personality traits could change when dealing with senior teachers when the principal's tenure is coming to an end, when they are transferred or when they are about to retire.
