Abstract

This research aims to develop the electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) Pendap Bengkulu based on Discovery Learning as a Learning Media for Additive Material in Science lesson content for class VIII SMP. This study used the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), which was limited to the development stage with limited trials conducted at SMPN 03 Bengkulu City, with a sample of 33 students from class VIII.1. To collect data, several questionnaires were distributed to media experts, material experts, participants, and students. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis techniques using percentage analysis. The results of the research showed that the feasibility test of E-LKPD involving 3 material experts, 2 media experts, and 2 participants resulted in an 92.3% percentage of validation test results, and it can be said that E-LKPD Pendap Bengkulu, which was developed as a learning medium for additive material for junior high school students, was very feasible to use. Analysis of student readability of E-LKPD Pendap Bengkulu as a learning medium for additive material for junior high school students resulted in a percentage of 89.8% readability response, indicating that E-LKPD is very well applied to junior high school students in grade VIII.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the authentic assessment techniques coveyring cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in IPAS learning in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The design used in this research is a case study, in which researchers reveal and analyze holistically to get specific results. The subjects contained in this study are educators as homeroom teachers who are also IPAS teachers, students, and school principals. The data collection carried out in this study is using primary sources which include observation and interviews. Secondary sources included journals, books, and scientific articles. Data analysis conducted in this research is descriptive analytic. The results obtained in this study are based on the cognitive aspects of educators using written test assessment techniques, oral tests, and assignments. Affective aspects educators use observation, self-assessment, peer assessment, and journal assessment techniques. As well as psychomotor aspects, educators use project and portfolio assessment techniques. The achievement of learner competence can be seen based on the three aspects and the level of learning success is an integral part of the educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of social media distraction and Islamic learning on academic procrastination behavior as well as the mediating role of screen time in these two variables. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 97 students at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong, located in Ponorogo Regency, East Java Province, as participants. The data collection technique was carried out using a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM technique to test the validity, reliability, and goodness-of-fit of the model. The research results showed that social media distraction had a positive and significant influence on increasing academic procrastination, while Islamic learning has an insignificant influence. Screen time also mediated the relationship between social media distraction and academic procrastination. The implications of this research highlight the need for awareness about the negative impacts of social media use and the importance of a focused approach in developing moral values to reduce academic procrastination. Recommendations include strengthening the Islamic learning curriculum, which includes media literacy and digital ethics, as well as the active role of parents in controlling children's screen time. By implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that we can improve the balance between the use of technology, learning moral values, and reducing academic procrastination among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of college adjustment and domains of emotional intelligence among final-year students (7th semester) with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. This research used a correlational method with a non-experimental quantitative approach. The study respondents were final-year students of the Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, who participated in MBKM activities outside the university during the sixth semester and resumed regular classes during the seventh semester. Among 72 eligible students, 67 participated in the study. The instruments used to measure college adjustment and emotional intelligence were the translated version of Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) and an instrument based on Goleman's emotional intelligence theory, respectively. Correlation tests were conducted using the Pearson Product Moment. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation between college adjustment and emotional intelligence (r = 0.410, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the analysis proved correlations among certain dimensions of college adjustment and domains of emotional intelligence. The implications highlight the role of MBKM activities in enhancing students' skills to support their adaptation and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of psychoeducation intervention programs among emerging adult college students. We used the quantitative method with single-subject designs—Kirkpatrick evaluation model conducted by targeting two measurement levels: reaction and learning. Quantitative data analysis used the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and the Basic Empathy Scale (BES). Qualitative data were measured through baseline, treatment, and follow-up assessments. The findings of this research demonstrated that enhancing self-esteem and empathy through this program was effective. Significant changes in the subjects' knowledge and attitudes were observed after the intervention. This research suggests that emerging adult college students can gain a deeper understanding of their potential and experience a positive mind and emotional states through increased self-esteem and empathy.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the validity of STEM-CT-based textbooks in improving multi-representation abilities in MTs students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of four stages, i.e., Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study only discussed preparing textbooks' Define, Design, and Develop stages. The research participants were teachers of the Science MGMP in Banyuwangi. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The analysis used in this research was descriptive and qualitative. The data processing results for STEM-CT-based textbooks to improve multi-representational abilities in MTs students obtained a validity value of 82.86 in the very valid or usable category. The validation results showed that the STEM-CT-based textbooks developed could be used for classroom learning to improve students' multi-representation abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends in the use of augmented reality from tangible interfaces in the context of formal and informal education. This study employed a systematic literature review (SLR) method adapted from the PRISMA model. This research used the Publish or Perish application to search for various relevant scientific articles taken from international journals, Scopus, with a range of 2019-2023. The data analysis technique for this research used thematic analysis. The development of AR media showed significant improvement, especially in the aspect of increasingly realistic and diverse user interfaces, enabling closer integration with the curriculum and presenting more engaging learning experiences. The interactive and collaborative features of AR applications showed great potential for enhancing student interaction with learning materials through immersive and interactive visual experiences. In addition, such collaborative features could also facilitate cooperation between students, creating a more dynamic and effective learning environment in schools. This research emphasized the importance of using appropriate research methods to deepen the understanding of the development of AR media in education and the potential of AR applications in creating more interactive and collaborative learning experiences in school environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of academic parenting, children's grades, and self-concept on motivation to continue higher education among high school and vocational high school students in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Bekasi Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design on 120 high school and vocational school students and 120 student guardians. The research instrument used a questionnaire and was analyzed by correlation and SEM tests. The results of this study indicated that the variables of academic parenting, self-concept, and motivation to continue education are in the medium category, while the variable of children's values was in the low category. The results of the T-Test revealed that the motivation to continue their education of high school students was significantly different from vocational students; high school students had higher motivation. The correlation test between variables showed a significant positive relationship between academic parenting variables with self-concept and motivation to continue education. Influence analysis found a direct influence of academic parenting variables on self-concept and self-concept variables on motivation to continue education. The results of path analysis found that the academic parenting variable indirectly affects motivation to continue education, with the self-concept variable as a mediator. The implication of this research is to strengthen the self-concept of students in industrial areas through academic parenting and increase students' motivation to continue their education by forming a positive self-concept.

Abstract

This study aims to develop of a learning model based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) that are valid, practical, and effective to improve mathematical literacy skills and students' mathematical disposition. This study uses a research and development method with modified Plomp model. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 9 Medan in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The instruments in this study were the Mathematical Literacy Ability Test and the Mathematical Disposition Questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this research showed that: (1) the RME-based learning model developed met the criteria for validity, practicality and effectiveness of the learning model; (2) increasing students' mathematical literacy skills using the realistic RME-based learning model developed in terms of the N-Gain in trial I of 0.29 with low criteria and in trial II of 0.59 with medium criteria. (3) increasing students' mathematical disposition abilities using the developed RME learning model in terms of the average in trial I and trial II, namely 5.04.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Assemblr Edu learning media with the RADEC learning model for implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in Elementary Schools. This research used the R&D (Research and Development) method with the 4D model. The research subjects consisted of material validators, media validators and 58 students. The data collection instrument used in this research was a questionnaire which was then analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicated that Assemblr Edu learning media based on the results of material validation obtained 97% with a very feasible category, and the results of media validation obtained 92% with a very feasible category. Educators could apply the results of the Assemblr Edu learning media development in implementing P5 with the RADEC learning model in elementary schools. This research makes a significant contribution to the education field, especially in utilizing Assemblr Edu technology and the RADEC learning model in elementary schools. In practice, it can enrich the literature on technology-based learning and educational innovation to improve the quality of high-quality learning.
