Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V UPT SDN 065012 Medan Tuntungan melalui model Project Based Learning berbasis video. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari empat pertemuan, dengan subjek 17 siswa. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 60 pada siklus I menjadi 91 pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat dari 30% menjadi 94%, mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based Learning berbasis video efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji validitas e-booklet bernuansa Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) tentang materi sel untuk peserta didik Fase F. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan, define, design, dan develop, sedangkan tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu dan dana yang dimiliki peneliti. Validasi instrumen meliputi aspek pembelajaran, komunikasi visual, dan rekayasa perangkat lunak, yang dinilai oleh tiga orang validator. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 90,82%: aspek pembelajaran 90,74%: komunikasi visual 92,85%: dan rekayasa perangkat lunak 88,88%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa e-booklet yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang tidak hanya memperkuat pemahaman konsep diri, tetapi juga menanamkan nilai-nilai ESQ seperti kesadaran diri, tanggung jawab sosial, dan pengelolaan diri.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' literacy skills in writing poetry through the application of a digital storyboarding technique. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was conducted in two cycles involving 36 students of class X-2 at SMA Negeri 1 Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The digital storyboarding technique was utilized to assist students in visualizing ideas and emotions through images before expressing them in poetic form. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ poetry writing abilities. In the initial stage, only a small number of students reached the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of 75. However, by the second cycle, all students (100%) achieved or exceeded the target score. In addition to academic improvement, students demonstrated higher levels of interest, creativity, and engagement during the learning process. The use of digital storyboarding effectively supported students’ imagination and helped them structure poetic lines meaningfully.

Abstract

Salah satu mata pelajaran yang paling penting diajarkan di sekolah dasar adalah matematika. Hasil belajar siswa tidak sesuai dengan KKM karena banyak siswa yang menganggap berhitung itu membosankan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui keefektifan metode pembuktian lingkaran nyata dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan bilangan real; (2) menentukan hasil belajar metode ini; dan (3) menentukan pengaruh metode ini. Alat Peraga Kelas V Digunakan untuk Hasil Belajar MIS Islamiyah Mustafawiyah Tarbiyah Real Circle. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya penyajian alat peraga LIRIL (Real Circle) dan hasil belajar matematika Kelas V MIS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Mustafawiyah berbeda secara signifikan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to enhance the poetry writing abilities of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Medan by integrating audiovisual media into the learning process. The study was initiated due to students’ generally low performance in poetry writing, characterized by limited creativity, weak diction usage, and underdeveloped imagery in their compositions. The methodology used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were gathered through observation sheets and evaluations of students' written poetry. The findings revealed a notable improvement in students' average scores, rising from 55.29 in the pretest to 71.47 in the first cycle, and reaching 80.59 in the second cycle. Moreover, the percentage of students meeting the minimum mastery criteria significantly increased from 32.35% to 94.12%. These results demonstrate that the use of audiovisual media effectively boosts student engagement, fosters creativity, and improves their skills in writing poetry.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve the poetry writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 14 Medan through the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model. The study was motivated by students' low performance in writing poetry, particularly in diction selection, theme development, and use of figurative language. The research was conducted in two cycles following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through written tests, observations, and documentation, then analyzed quantitatively using descriptive methods. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ poetry writing skills. The class average score increased from 58.89 in the pre-cycle to 73.89 in Cycle I and 83.89 in Cycle II. Mastery learning improved from 8.33% in the pre-cycle to 58.33% in Cycle I, reaching 100% in Cycle II. The application of the TTW model effectively enhanced students’ active participation, boosted their confidence, and fostered critical and creative thinking in poetry writing.

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the process of compiling teaching modules and teaching media as an important part of structured learning planning. Teaching modules function as a systematic guide for educators in achieving learning objectives, while teaching media act as a supporting tool to improve student understanding. This article describes the basic concept of teaching modules, steps in compiling teaching modules, types and selection of teaching media, integration of teaching media in teaching modules, and examples of implementation in the context of learning. In addition, it also discusses the challenges that teachers often face and practical solutions to overcome these obstacles. It is hoped that this article can be a reference for educators in developing innovative, contextual teaching tools that are in accordance with the needs of students.

Abstract

Pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) telah menjadi salah satu inovasi penting dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21, khususnya dalam pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kolaboratif pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi pendekatan STEAM dalam pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar, serta mengeksplorasi pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan kreativitas dan kolaborasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan, seperti jurnal nasional dan internasional, prosiding seminar, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang terbit dalam rentang waktu 2014–2024. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik terhadap prinsip dasar STEAM, strategi integrasinya, serta dampaknya pada proses pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan STEAM secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, serta kolaborasi siswa. Beberapa studi menyatakan bahwa penerapan STEAM yang dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau eksperimen kontekstual mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aktif dan bermakna. Namun, implementasi STEAM di sekolah dasar di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, serta belum tersedianya pedoman operasional yang jelas.Diperlukan pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan serta kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung agar pendekatan ini dapat diimplementasikan secara optimal. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran sains yang inovatif dan kontekstual dalam rangka membekali siswa dengan keterampilan abad ke-21 secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the innovation of local history learning in Kulon Progo through pop-up book media in grade IV of elementary school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, based on best practice, with a problem-based learning (PBL) and discovery learning approach. The subjects of this study consisted of 19 grade IV students of Margosari Elementary School, Kulon Progo. Data were collected through observation, project assessment, documentation of student work, learning motivation questionnaires, and statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test. The study's results showed an increase in students' average scores from 61.79 before treatment to 85.53 after using pop-up book media, with a significance of p < 0.001. In addition to improving learning outcomes, students showed increased motivation, creativity, and collaborative skills. Pop-up book media succeeded in making history learning more interesting, meaningful, and in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students' cognitive development. This innovation supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes real-life experience-based learning and projects. The results of this study recommend the development of similar creative media in other subjects to improve the quality of learning at the elementary school level.
