Abstract

Abortion in adolescent girls is a complex phenomenon that affects various aspects of life, including psychological and existential aspects. This study aims to explore the meaning of life of adolescent girls who have experienced abortion, using a phenomenological qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of six adolescent girls who were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and reflective documentation, then analysed using a phenomenological thematic approach. The results showed that the abortion experience became a turning point in the participants' lives, prompting deep reflection on identity, social relationships, and life values. The majority of participants experienced emotional struggles such as guilt, regret, and alienation, but gradually found new meanings that were personal, spiritual, and social. This process demonstrated post-traumatic growth, with participants able to reconstruct life goals and rebuild self-esteem. This study highlights the importance of empathic psychological support, meaning-based counselling, and culturally and religiously sensitive approaches in assisting post-abortive adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the cooperative method of make a match type can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language students in class IVB semester II SD Negeri Sindangsari 1 Bogor City in the 2022/2023 academic year. This can be seen in the pre-cycle the number of students who have completed is 52.3% of students and 47.6% of students are still below the KKM. The completeness of the learning outcomes of the first cycle reached 71.4% and the completeness of the learning outcomes in the second cycle reached 90.4% with a very good category. The teacher's observation score from cycle I with a score of 92 increased in cycle II to 90.4 in the very good category. Furthermore, the student attitude scores from cycle I and cycle 2, namely 95.2, increased to 99 in the very good category. Meanwhile, student activities scored 88.3 in cycle I and scored 92.5 in cycle II in the very good category

Abstract

Thesis by Eni Sarlina Uas, Student Identification Number 2101140060. The background of this research is based on the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics, particularly in the topic of fractions. This issue stems from the lack of student engagement and the use of less engaging learning media. The aim of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students on fraction material through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model supported by digital based media at UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 1 Kupang City. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 16 students of Grade IV-A. Data collection instruments included learning outcome tests and observation sheets for teacher and student activities. Data analysis techniques were conducted using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by digital media can improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the average student score was 58.75 with a classical completeness percentage of 18.75%. After improvements were made in cycle II, the average score increased to 96.25 with a completeness percentage reaching 100%. Thus, learning using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by digital media proved to be effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes, especially in fraction material.

Abstract

The use of learning media in the teaching and learning process is important to increase the effectiveness and involvement of students in understanding the material. One of the learning media that can be used in learning Civics in grade V is the learning media of Indonesian diversity snakes and ladders (utagasia). This research aims to develop a valid and practical learning media of Indonesian diversity snakes and ladders (utagasia) in elementary schools. This media was developed using the R&D research method with the 4D model. Research data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. Product validation was carried out by two experts, namely media experts and material experts with an overall average score of 88.01% with a very valid category. The results of product trials conducted on 16 students obtained an overall average score of 90.43% with a very practical category and a teacher response of 95% with a very practical category. Based on the results of validation and trials, it can be concluded that the learning media of Indonesian diversity snakes and ladders (utagasia) is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Final year students often face high academic pressure, especially in completing final assignments such as theses. This pressure can trigger academic procrastination behavior, namely the tendency to postpone completing important tasks. This study aims to determine the effect of grit, namely a combination of enthusiasm and perseverance to achieve long-term goals on academic procrastination in final year students. The study used a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design. The measuring instruments used were the Grit-O Scale developed by Angela Duckworth and the Academic Procrastination Scale developed by Solomon & Rothblum, which were distributed online via Google Form. Participants in this study were 140 sixth semester students and above from various universities. The results of the analysis using the Pearson correlation test showed a strong and significant negative relationship between grit and academic procrastination (r = -0.638; p <0.05). This finding indicates that the higher the level of grit a student has, the lower their tendency to postpone academic tasks. Thus, developing grit can be an effective preventive strategy in reducing procrastination behavior, especially in final year students.

Abstract

The Influence of Application of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Tangram Media on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Flat Shape Material. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach at Pabuaran State Elementary School 04. Research Subjects are fourth grade students of Pabuaran State Elementary School 04. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model with the aid of tangram media on the learning outcomes of mathematics in the flat wake material. this can be seen from the N-gain value in the experimental class which is 65.23 while the control class is 54.25. The completeness of learning outcomes in the experimental class is 73.07% and the control class is 50%. And the results of hypothesis testing that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and Ha is accepted because tcount (3.42) > ttable (2.01063). Thus, it can be concluded that the research has a positive and significant influence on the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the aid of tangram media on the learning outcomes of flat-shaped materials.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in preventing intolerant behavior among students. The article employs a descriptive-analytical approach and thematic interpretation in its literature review. The research focuses on several relevant written documents, particularly those discussing the role of Islamic Religious Education in preventing intolerance. Secondary sources, such as books, journals, and other written materials, are also utilized to gain deeper insights, facts, and analyses. The data is analyzed using content analysis methods, allowing the researcher to describe and connect the data with supporting documents related to Islamic Religious Education. Through this analysis, the findings show that IRE teachers play a strategic role in preventing intolerance by teaching Islamic values such as tolerance, justice, and mutual respect. Teachers act as role models in shaping inclusive student character and integrating extracurricular activities to promote harmony. The study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers hold a crucial role, especially in forming students' character and personality based on noble Islamic values. They are not only responsible for teaching the theoretical aspects of religion but also serve as moral and spiritual exemplars who teach noble character, justice, and anti-intolerance behavior in education. The value of tolerance is taught to students with the hope that they will grow into wise individuals rooted in moral and religious values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar tema 7 perkembangan teknologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif (PTKK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III B SDN Layungsari 2 Kota Bogor yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik, dengan 8 peserta didik perempuan dan 19 peserta didik laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar tema 7 perkembangan teknologi peserta didik kelas III B SDN Layungsari 2 Kota Bogor. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus 1 yang diperoleh rata-rata nilai 77,8% dan pada siklus 2 diperoleh rata-rata nilai 84,1%. Adapun Hasil ketuntasan belajar peserta didik pada siklus 1 diperoleh skor rata-rata 74% dan siklus 2 diperoleh skor 89%. Kemudian hasil observasi peserta didik pada siklus 1 diperoleh skor rata-rata 97% dan pada siklus II diperoleh 99%. Serta hasil observasi peserta didik pada siklus 1 diperoleh skor rata-rata 97% dan pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata 99%. Sedangkan hasil observasi guru pada siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata 98% dan pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata 99%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada tema 7 perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes to society, including in education. Increased use of social media among elementary school students facilitates interaction but also poses digital ethics challenges. Many cases of misuse, such as hoaxes and cyberbullying, show the urgency of digital ethics education from an early age. Civics Education (PKn) has a strategic role in instilling moral values, including those needed in digital contexts. This study used a qualitative case study method involving 5th and 6th-grade students in Jakarta. Data collection included observations, teacher interviews, and document analysis. Results show that although PKn can shape responsible digital citizens, its integration with digital ethics remains limited. The study recommends updating curriculum and teacher training to align PKn with current digital challenges.

Abstract

Tesis oleh Almar Serlin Hae Rae, 2101140038 (2021) dengan judul: Peran Orang Tua dalam Bimbingan Belajar di Rumah terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Siswa Kelas 2 di SD Inpres Oepura 2. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apa saja peran orang tua dalam bimbingan belajar di rumah terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa dan bagaimana bimbingan belajar yang dilakukan oleh orang tua terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas 2 SD Inpres Oepura 2. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak dua puluh sembilan (29) orang yang terdiri dari enam belas (16) perempuan dan tiga belas (13) laki-laki dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis adalah teknik observasi dan teknik wawancara sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data dan penyajian data serta verifikasi hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Oepura 2: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa peran yang dilakukan atau diperankan oleh orangtua dalam bimbingan belajar anak, yaitu: (1) Orang tua berperan sebagai pendidik yang memiliki peran dalam mendukung pendidikan anak dengan memantau perkembangan akademik dan memberi semangat kepada anak untuk terus belajar, (2) Orang tua sebagai fasilitator perlu menyediakan fasilitas dan dukungan yang dibutuhkan oleh anak untuk belajar dan berkembang, (3) Orang tua berperan sebagai motivator bagi anak untuk dukungan emosional agar anak merasa percaya diri (4) Orang tua sebagai pembimbing harus memberikan bimbingan dalam menghadapi tantangan, membantu anak mengatasi kesulitan dan mengarahkannya menuju masa depan yang lebih baik. Adapun bimbingan belajar yang belum dilakukan oleh orangtua, yaitu: (1) Sebagai pendidik: Orang tua yang kurang memahami manfaat pendidikan, hal ini terbukti orangtua belum menjalankan perannya sebagai pendidik. 2) Fasilitator, peran orangtua yang belum menyiapkan fasilitas bagi anak untuk belajar 3) Peran orangtua sebagai motivator sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan 4) Orang tua sebagai pembimbing, sebagian belum menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik. Adapun pembinaan yang belum dilakukan oleh orang tua yaitu: 1) Sebagai pendidik: Orang tua yang kurang memahami manfaat pendidikan, hal ini terbukti orang tua belum melaksanakan perannya sebagai pendidik. 2) Fasilitator, peran orang tua yang belum menyediakan fasilitas bagi anak untuk belajar. 3) Peran orang tua sebagai motivator sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan 4) Orang tua sebagai pembimbing, sebagian belum menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam bimbingan belajar anak sangat penting. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam layanan bimbingan belajar, yaitu orang tua perlu meningkatkan bimbingan kepada anak saat belajar, orang tua perlu menyediakan sarana belajar bagi anak dan memberikan motivasi serta penguatan positif secara berkala agar anak lebih semangat dalam belajar.
