Abstract

PT. XYZ is known as a manufacturing company in East Java engaged in supporting power grid construction and producing arm tie bands as one of the supporting components for electrical installations. This study was conducted to establish working time standards and the need for effective labor using stopwatch time study and workload analysis (WLA) methods. Data collection was carried out through direct observation 30 times on each work element during production operational hours. The data was then analyzed using data uniformity and sufficiency testing, performance rating assessment, normal time calculation, relaxation factor, standard/standard time, and standard output. The results showed that the total standard production time of arm tie bands was 193.64 seconds or the equivalent of 3.23 minutes. In addition, bottlenecks were found in the process of installing plate wire because it has the lowest output capacity compared to other work elements. Based on the results of the workload analysis, the ideal number of workers needed by the company is 9 workers, so it is necessary to add 1 worker to the plate wire installation section to improve the balance of the workload and the efficiency of the production process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the volume of carp fish purchases in traditional markets in Bogor City. The research applies a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 50 respondents. The variables examined include the price of carp fish, consumer income, the price of substitute goods (tilapia), and the number of family members. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that the price of carp fish has a negative effect on purchase volume, while consumer income, the price of substitute goods, and the number of family members have positive effects. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.54, indicating that 54% of the variation in carp fish purchase volume can be explained by the model, while the remaining is influenced by other factors outside the study. The F-test results indicate that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the purchase volume of carp fish. Furthermore, elasticity analysis shows that the demand for carp fish is inelastic with respect to price, income, and substitute goods price, but elastic with respect to the number of family members.

Abstract

Well productivity decline due to formation damage in the near‑wellbore zone is reflected by increased positive skin factor, which shifts the inflow performance relationship (IPR) curve toward lower flow rates and reduces the productivity index (PI). This study applies a systematic literature review (SLR) to five selected articles published between 2023 and 2026 to examine the influence of skin factor on IPR curves and oil well productivity. Data sources include Google Scholar, Wiley Online Library, ScienceDirect, and MDPI. Findings indicate that skin factor affects transient flow rates, IPR curve displacement, and the economic feasibility of well stimulation. In low‑capacity reservoirs (k·h < 10,000 mD·m), stimulation reducing skin to negative values increases cumulative recovery by up to 35% and net present value (NPV) by more than 100%. In high‑capacity reservoirs (k·h > 60,000 mD·m), skin variation does not alter NPV. Mitigation strategies include acidizing, injection rate optimization, horizontal well configuration, and artificial lift based on nodal analysis.

Abstract

Quality control is an important function in a business. Companies that prioritize product quality control have significant advantages in terms of stability, safety, and business sustainability. UD. Roti Jase is one of the food industries facing problems related to a high number of defective products, which has resulted in decreased revenue. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of defects in the bread production process to produce high-quality bread. The Six Sigma DMAIC method was used to analyze these problems. Based on the analysis results, the most common defect was burnt bread, with a percentage of 31.80%. The DPMO value was 159,701, indicating that the company operates at a 3.2 Sigma level. The factors that most significantly influenced the defects were machine and human factors, namely the absence of a digital temperature control device and workers’ lack of attention during the production process. Quality improvement efforts at UD. Roti Jase to minimize defects include providing a digital temperature device, conducting direct supervision during the production process, and recruiting additional workers.

Abstract

The Villa Tretes construction project in Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency, faces various potential risks of delay influenced by both technical and non-technical factors during the project implementation process. This study aims to identify the risk factors affecting project delays and to determine the probability levels of delay risks using the Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) method. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with 22 respondents directly involved in the project. The research data was analyzed using the Bayesian Belief Network method with the assistance of HUGIN Lite software to determine the probabilistic relationships among project delay risk factors. The results indicate that the factors with the greatest influence on project delays are finance and administration (84.49%), project documentation (84.10%), and labor (83.565%). The analysis results indicate that these factors have a significant correlation with the potential for project delays, thus requiring attention in the control of construction work implementation.

Abstract

A decline in reservoir pressure in a natural flow well reduces the well’s ability to flow fluid naturally, necessitating an evaluation of the production system and a prediction of the well’s lifespan. This study was conducted on Well JZ-22 in the Sangatta Field using actual production data from August 12, 2025, employing Nodal analysis, System Analysis, Tubing head pressure (THP) trend analysis, and Decline curve analysis (DCA). The matching results indicate a production rate of 20.57 bfpd with a model THP of 15 psig and a reservoir pressure of 110 psia. Future IPR analysis indicates that the well will no longer be able to flow naturally at a reservoir pressure of 57 psia with a production rate of 0.85 STB/d. Predictions based on the THP trend indicate that the well will stop flowing on August 26, 2025, while the DCA method estimates that it will continue until January 3, 2026. The research results indicate that Well JZ-22 is in the final phase of natural flow, necessitating intervention planning such as the installation of an artificial lift system.

Abstract

Earthquakes are one of the lateral loads that can cause significant damage to multi-story buildings; therefore, structural systems with good seismic resistance and performance are required. This study aims to evaluate and compare the dynamic behavior of several multi-story shop-house (ruko) models under earthquake loading by examining key parameters such as structural displacement, natural period, base shear force, and the influence of the P-Delta effect. The analysis results show that each ruko model exhibits different dynamic responses to earthquake loads depending on its stiffness and flexibility characteristics. Ruko A performs best in controlling displacement and the P-Delta effect, Ruko B is the stiffest with relatively stable responses, Ruko C is the most efficient in resisting lateral forces, while Ruko D is the most flexible but produces the largest structural response. Therefore, optimal structural performance is not determined by a single parameter, but rather by a balance between stiffness, displacement, and internal forces.

Abstract

CV. ABC is a manufacturing industry producing songkok that serves nine regular customers across East Java and Madura. Currently, the company faces transportation cost inefficiencies due to the implementation of a rigid zone-based distribution system. This condition leads to suboptimal fleet capacity utilization and inflated travel distances, resulting in total transportation costs of Rp3,486,700 per delivery period. This study aims to determine a more optimal distribution route to minimize travel distance and identify concrete cost savings comparisons.  The method employed in this research is the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) using a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) mathematical model approach. The data processing and search for the optimal route were executed using Python software via the Google Colab platform. The research results indicate that the proposed route successfully reduced the total distribution distance from 2,026 km to 1,234 km, equivalent to a distance saving of 39%. Furthermore, significant financial efficiency was achieved, where total monthly operational expenditures decreased from Rp45,574,150 to Rp32,234,850.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company engaged in the production of Paving Block K300. The problem faced is the company's inability to meet the surge in demand at the end of the year due to the lack of an adequate forecasting system. This study aims to compare the Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) and Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) methods in forecasting Paving Block demand using data from May 2024 to April 2026. Forecasting accuracy was evaluated using MAD, MSD, and MAPE. The results showed that the TES method produced the smallest error value for all product types, namely rectangles (MAPE 4%), squares (MAPE 6%), 3-dimensional (MAPE 9%), hexagons (MAPE 12%), and bishops (MAPE 8%). Thus, the TES method is recommended as the basis for production planning at CV. XYZ.

Abstract

CV. Karya Cipta Baru is a commercial vehicle manufacturing company that CV. Karya Cipta Baru is a company engaged in the construction of commercial vehicles, with a primary focus on the production of various types of truck beds, particularly dropside truck beds. This study aims to analyze raw material requirements planning and assess inventory costs and potential losses resulting from unfulfilled orders in a make-to-order system. The methods applied include Lot-for-Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Period Order Quantity (POQ). The data used in this study includes product demand, raw material requirements, ordering costs, storage costs, and production loss costs. The research findings indicate that the LFL method yields the lowest total inventory cost, namely Rp3,625,965, compared to EOQ at Rp7,344,000 and POQ at Rp6,440,686. Additionally, the total cost of stock shortages, amounting to Rp2,304,000, stems from overtime expenses and penalties resulting from delays in fulfilling orders. Therefore, the LFL method is considered the most efficient in reducing inventory costs and the risk of customer dissatisfaction related to order fulfillment.
