Abstract

The Boost DC-DC Converter plays a significant role in renewable energy applications and electric vehicles, serving to increase the output voltage from low-voltage sources. This study aims to analyze the performance of the Interleaved Boost Converter with Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control compared to open loop and PID control. The research methodology involves designing and simulating the converter using MATLAB/Simulink, where various control configurations are tested to assess their ability to regulate output voltage. Simulation results show that the Interleaved Boost Converter with LQR control produces a stable output voltage of 28 volts with the fastest response time (9.629 µs) and no overshoot. In contrast, the PID control configuration delivers an output voltage of 28.46 volts with a maximum overshoot of 0.510% and a slower response time (25.177 µs). The open loop configuration, despite having the fastest response time (19.768 µs), results in significant voltage ripple. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that LQR control is superior in terms of stability and quick response and is recommended for applications requiring high performance. Future research is suggested to focus on optimizing PID control parameters and evaluating LQR performance under dynamic load conditions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Interleaved Boost Converter (IBC) in battery charging applications using three control methods: Open loop, PID, and State feedback. The introduction highlights the importance of stability and efficiency in battery charging to enhance battery life and performance. Simulations were conducted to evaluate the system's response to each control method. The Open loop method produced an output voltage of 35V with a fast response time of 24.036 ms but suffered from significant ripple. PID control improved stability with a lower overshoot (0.248%) but slower response time (26.730 ms), and the ripple remained visible. The State feedback method, especially with a matrix gain of K2 = [-1 10 15], yielded the best performance, achieving the fastest response time of 4.779 ms, an overshoot of 0.497%, and no ripple in the output voltage. Based on these results, State feedback control is recommended for battery charging applications requiring stable and efficient voltage. PID control can be an alternative but requires further tuning for optimal performance.

Abstract

The implementation of long segment-based contracts which is considered new for service users and large contractors, the implementation of roads. So it is necessary to understand the system. The parties have difficulty implementing the standards that have been determined and understanding the scope of the work being carried out, resulting in the implementation of long segment-based work not being carried out effectively until now. Seeing the above problems, this research was carried out to The method used in this study uses the Importance perpormance analysis (IPA) questionnaire method. In accordance with the limitations of this study, the number of respondents used was 30 service users and 30 service providers at the Southeast Sulawesi Road Implementation CenterThe method used in this study used the Importance perpormance analysis (IPA) questionnaire method. In accordance with the limitations of this study, the number of respondents used was 30 service users and 30 providers Factors of understanding from Officials Commitment Makers (PPK) as service users place understanding in contract law as the dominant factor with weight (0.195), while service providers/contractors place the ability to understand contract law as the dominant factor with weight (0.206).

Abstract

PT. Indonesia Satu Persada is one of the companies that provides occupational health and safety training and certification. At PT. Indonesia Satu Persada sees that the marketing strategy is less than optimal because the very large market share is not directly proportional to market absorption by PT. Indonesia Satu Persada, therefore it is necessary to conduct an appropriate marketing strategy analysis. The research method used is by using the SWOT method, then an analysis is carried out through efas and ifas to determine the right marketing strategy. After the analysis and calculations were carried out, several activities were obtained that the company needed to do in order to be able to optimize marketing, including conducting new training material topics according to consumer demand, opening cooperation with campuses and providing competitive prices for students, monitoring government regulations related to special training obligations which can then be held at ISP, adding admins and reviewing cooperation with the issuing party of professional certificates in order to be able to carry out administration quickly.

Abstract

This study analyzes market segmentation of 1000 Superindo consumers in Tambun, Bekasi, using K-Means Clustering with Python 3.10. Variables included age, gender, occupation, purchase amount, product type, and discounts. Three main segments were identified: "Business Women" (average age 40, focus on staple goods, 16% discount), "Women Government Career" (age 39, staple goods, 16% discount), and "Professional Women" (age 38, staple goods, 15% discount). Superindo should target "Women Government Career" with the highest purchasing power. To increase sales, an online value proposition is recommended offering bundled packages of staple goods with meat and fruit.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors motivating women to work in the traditionally male-dominated mining industry, focusing on heavy equipment operators at a coal mine in Sangatta, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Employing an ethnographic approach with a phenomenological study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three informants with varying lengths of work experience to identify shared values. The findings reveal three primary factors underpinning women's decisions to pursue mining careers: strong work ethic, economic motivations, and an orientation towards self-development and securing their children's future. These findings demonstrate women's agency in career decision-making and their ability to transcend gender stereotypes. This study recommends that mining companies foster inclusive work environments that support women in balancing their multiple roles.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing repeat purchase of product X, a popular snack product in Indonesia, using binary logistic regression. Data were collected through an internal questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents and analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that among demographic variables, social media usage, product perception, and the influence of TV advertising, only the TV advertising variable had a significant effect on repeat purchase. Respondents exposed to TV advertising were 3.877 times more likely to make a repeat purchase. The resulting binary logistic regression model had a prediction accuracy of 77.2%. However, the prediction accuracy for non-repeat purchase was still low (8%), indicating the presence of other unidentified factors. It is recommended that the marketing team of company X conduct research on TV advertising concepts that are in line with the target market, implement a marketing mix between TV channels and social media, explore alternative media channels to support TV advertising, and maintain product quality and brand image.

Abstract

This research focuses on applying UI/UX design principles in social media applications and analyzing their impact on user engagement and platform loyalty in the long term. With increasing competition among social media platforms, user experience has become a major determining factor in app success. This research explores how UI/UX elements such as efficient navigation structure, consistent visual aesthetics, interface responsiveness, and content personalization play a role in increasing user engagement, time spent on the app, and user intent to return to the platform. Using quantitative and qualitative approaches, data was collected through user surveys and analysis of behavioral data from several leading social media platforms. The research results show that optimal UI/UX design not only significantly influences user engagement levels, but also increases user loyalty, reduces churn rates, and increases retention in the long term. This study provides strategic recommendations for social media application developers in designing interfaces that support sustained engagement and positive user experiences
