Abstract

Tourism industry is a sustainable industry, which is supported by the attractiveness and tourist promotion. In Melikan village - Klaten district, there is a tourism industry that has a unique charm in the form of oblique rotation technique. It is also supported by another tourist attraction in the form of courses batik, tempeh, making rambak and traditional toys. In this place also provides facilities such as homestay. The promotion that has been done is through the web, leaflets / flyers and word of mouth. The purpose of this study was to determine the truth of whether there is influence of attraction and promotion of tourism to the satisfaction of visitors. This research method uses a quantitative approach, to know and see the relationship of the variables the study, namely variable attractiveness, promotion of tourism and visitor satisfaction. The research that has been done shows that the attractiveness of positive and significant impact on satisfaction. 84.84% agree. Tourism promotion also affect visitor satisfaction, ie with a percentage of 94.95% agree. While the appeal and promotional simultaneously has significant impact on visitor satisfaction. The second major influence of these variables was 68.8%. While the 31.2% is influenced by other factors, out of these two variables.

Abstract

AbstractTeluk Nipah Beach, located in Bulok Village, Kalianda District, South Lampung, Indonesia, is an attractive tourist destination with stunning natural charm, including stretches of soft white sand and clear sea water. Although it offers stunning sea views and a calm atmosphere, Teluk Nipah Beach faces obstacles in infrastructure development. This study aims to explore the impact of tourism development in Teluk Nipah Beach on the economic and socio-cultural aspects of the people of South Lampung Regency. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were representatives of Bulok Village residents totaling 41 people consisting of Village Apparatus and representatives of Bulok Village residents. The analysis in this view uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes three activity flows, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Teluk Nipah Beach has a positive impact on the economy of Bulok Village, such as creating jobs, benefiting local businesses, generating taxes for highway repairs, and improving the economic conditions of the population. However, the community does not agree with the negative impacts such as increasing prices of goods and services, as well as the cost of living. Socio-culturally, tourism development maintains public services and cultural activities, but also brings negative impacts such as increased crime, changes in traditional arts, and cultural exchange between residents and tourists.Keywords: Impact of Development; Economy; Socio-Culture; Teluk Nipah BeachAbstrakPantai Teluk Nipah, berlokasi di Desa Bulok, Kecamatan Kalianda, Lampung Selatan, Indonesia, merupakan destinasi pariwisata menarik dengan pesona alam yang memukau, termasuk hamparan pasir putih lembut dan air laut jernih. Meskipun menawarkan pemandangan laut yang menakjubkan dan suasana yang tenang, Pantai Teluk Nipah menghadapi kendala pembangunan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dampak pembangunan pariwisata di Pantai Teluk Nipah terhadap aspek ekonomi dan sosial budaya masyarakat Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kuesioner, wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan perwakilan warga Desa Bulok yang berjumlah 41 orang yang terdiri dari Aparatur Desa dan perwakilan dari warga Desa Bulok. Analisis dalam pandangan ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tiga alur kegiatan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapat bahwa Pantai Teluk Nipah memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian Desa Bulok, seperti menciptakan pekerjaan, menguntungkan bisnis lokal, menghasilkan pajak untuk perbaikan jalan raya, dan meningkatkan kondisi ekonomi penduduk. Namun, masyarakat tidak setuju dengan dampak negatif seperti peningkatan harga barang dan jasa, serta biaya hidup. Secara sosial budaya, pengembangan pariwisata memelihara layanan publik dan kegiatan budaya, tetapi juga membawa dampak negatif seperti peningkatan kriminalitas, perubahan dalam seni tradisional, dan pertukaran budaya antara penduduk dan wisatawan.Kata Kunci: Dampak Pembangunan; Ekonomi; Sosial Budaya; Pantai Teluk Nipah

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine strategies in preserving and tointroduce sayur ares. This research method using cualitative descriptive analysis and SWOTanalysis, which means writing the result of analysis in facts and do the research, interviews,and documented it. To preserve sayur ares, some points need to be improved to increasehuman resources, management, and promotion in order sayur ares be known by tourists.

Abstract

AbstractSustainable development is a key principle in the current era, covering ecological, socio-cultural and economic aspects. This article reviews the integration of sustainability in festivals, particularly in Indonesia. Festivals are an important part of Indonesia's rich culture and attract tourism, but often have negative impacts on the environment and cultural aspects. This article provides a literature review that describes festivals and their impact on sustainability, and examines the role of identity in festivals. The research method used is qualitative. The discussion highlights the importance of respecting cultural heritage, integrating sustainability concepts, reducing waste, wise site selection, education and awareness, and collaboration with local communities in sustainable festivals. In conclusion, sustainable festivals not only safeguard the natural environment, but also promote and preserve valuable cultural heritage. With the right approach, festivals can be a powerful tool to support ecological and cultural sustainability simultaneously. future research can use a broader method so that the discussion becomes more structured and systematic, then further data and explanations can be more detailed so that the discussion of ecology and socio-culture on the sustainability of this festival becomes a fresh topic and is easily understood by the general public.Keywords: Ecology; Social; Socio-Culture; Festival SustainabilityAbstrakPembangunan berkelanjutan merupakan prinsip utama dalam era saat ini, mencakup aspek ekologi, sosial-budaya, dan ekonomi. Artikel ini mengulas integrasi keberlanjutan dalam festival, khususnya di Indonesia. Festival merupakan bagian penting dari budaya Indonesia yang kaya dan menjadi daya tarik pariwisata, namun seringkali memiliki dampak negatif pada lingkungan dan aspek budaya. Artikel ini memberikan tinjauan literatur yang menggambarkan festival dan dampaknya terhadap keberlanjutan, serta mengkaji peran identitas dalam festival. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil pembahasan menyoroti pentingnya menghormati warisan budaya, mengintegrasikan konsep keberlanjutan, mengurangi limbah, pemilihan lokasi yang bijak, pendidikan dan kesadaran, serta kolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal dalam festival berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, festival yang berkelanjutan tidak hanya menjaga lingkungan alam, tetapi juga mempromosikan dan melestarikan warisan budaya yang berharga. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, festival dapat menjadi alat yang kuat untuk mendukung keberlanjutan ekologi dan budaya secara bersamaan. untuk penelitian yang akan datang bisa menggunakan metode yang lebih luas sehingga pembahasan menjadi lebih terstruktur dab sistematis, kemudian data dan penjelasan lebih lanjut dapat lebih rinci sehingga pembahasan tentang ekologi dan sosial budaya terhadap keberlanjutan festival ini menjadi topik yang segar dan mudah dipahami oleh khalayak ramai.Kata Kunci: Ekologi; Sosiologi; Sosial-Budaya; Keberlanjutan Festival

Abstract

Tourism has a central role in improving the economic and social conditions of the community, where actors are able to utilize the potential of certain regions by collaborating between the government, the community, and the private sector. One of the tourism concepts that is the main destination for tourists is ecotourism which utilizes natural resources and community culture as a tourist attraction. Pancoh Ecotourism Village implements ecotourism tourism that provides a rural feel and presents community activities assisted by tourism pillars. The purpose of this research is to describe the roles of the tourism pillars involved and the strategies used in developing Pancoh Ecotourism Village. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach and data collection through interviews, observation, documentation as primary data and literature study as secondary data. The results obtained in this study show that Pancoh Ecotourism Village was formed after the 2010 eruption of Mount Merapi which made the NGO TPTP Solo and the Ministry of Environment and the UGM Center for Tourism Studies directly involved to provide counseling to restore the socio-economic conditions of the Pancoh community. In its development, the Pancoh Ecotourism Village manager carried out various strategies to develop the Ecotourism Village so that it still existed in the times and was able to attract foreign and local tourists to visit. The various strategies used by the Pancoh Ecotourism Village manager are establishing cooperation with the government, the community, and the private sector which are interpreted in making tour packages, improving the quality of human resources, improving institutions, and promoting and branding through social media.Keywords: 3 Pillars of Tourism, Tourism, Pancoh Ecotourism Village

Abstract

The lack of information related to the best practices in responsible tourism is one of the causes to tourist behavior problems. This study aims to determine the behavior of tourists in hiking, the adoption of responsible tourism practices, and to compile a responsible tourism practices guidebook. The research method used is survey research by spreading the questionnaire. Based on Likert analysis, at the pre-ascending stage, the classification of attitudes indicated by the respondents for cost and transportation is quite agreeable, while for equipment, guide, and simaksi is agreed. The ascent stage, the indicator when going up the mountain is quite agree, camping is not agree, the cook is agree, and when down the mountain is strongly agree. The post-ascent stage shows quite agreeable attitude. The public test of the guidebook, for the aspect of size and language of submission shows an agreeable attitude, while for the design, thickness, and content of the book shows an agreeable attitude. The conclusion is that (1) Still found the behavior of tourists in mountain climbing that is not environmentally friendly, (2) The responsible tourism practices of mountaineering that includes pre-ascending, ascent, and post-ascent, not well implemented by tourists, and (3) The responsible tourism practices guidebook still lack both technical and substance.

Abstract

AbstractAnalysis of tourists' willingness to pay in efforts to manage Mount Pundak climbing tourism was carried out to find out how much or maximum tourists paid for natural tourism climbing Mount Pundak. Mount Pundak is one of the areas managed by the Raden Soerjo Grand Forest Park so it is still part of a conservation area. This research aims to identify the socio-economic characteristics of tourists on Mount Pundak climbing tours, to determine tourists' willingness to pay the entry ticket price for Mount Pundak climbing tours and what factors influence the willingness to pay of tourists on Mount Pundak climbing tours. The influencing factors were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program and using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) analysis technique. The research results show that the majority of male tourists are students with an income level of < IDR 1,000,000. Based on the results of the analysis of the calculation of the average Willingness to Pay value, the results obtained were IDR 15,920 per individual per visit and the factor that influenced the Willingness to Pay value was attractiveness.Keywords: Contingent Valuation Method; Mount Pundak; Tahura Raden Soerjo; Willingness to PayAbstrakAnalisis kesediaan membayar (Willingness to Pay) wisatawan dalam upaya pengelolaan wisata pendakian Gunung Pundak dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar atau maksimum yang wisatawan bayarkan untuk wisata alam pendakian Gunung Pundak. Gunung Pundak merupakan salah satu kawasan yang dikelola oleh Taman Hutan Raya Raden Soerjo sehingga masih menjadi bagian kawasan konservasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sosial ekonomi wisatawan wisata pendakian Gunung Pundak, untuk mengetahui kesediaan membayar wisatawan terhadap harga tiket masuk wisata pendakian Gunung Pundak dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kesediaan membayar wisatawan wisata pendakian Gunung Pundak. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan program SPSS dan menggunakan teknik analisis Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas wisatawan berjenis kelamin laki-laki berstatus pelajar dengan tingkat pendapatan < Rp 1.000.000. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan nilai rata-rata Willingness to Pay diperoleh hasil sebesar Rp 15.920 per individu per kunjungan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai Willingness to Pay adalah daya tarik.Kata Kunci: Contingent Valuation Method; Gunung Pundak; Tahura Raden Soerjo; Willingness to Pay

Abstract

AbstractThis research examines the role of social media in promoting and developing Lokananta cultural tourism in Surakarta City. By using qualitative method and descriptive approach, this research reveals how social media, especially Instagram, is used as an effective communication and promotion tool. Lokananta, which has been revitalized and managed by M Bloc Group, seeks to attract the attention of the wider community through creative content on social media. The research shows that social media not only serves as a promotional tool but also as an educational medium about the history of Indonesian music. Interactions between social media managers and audiences through comments and direct messages help increase Lokananta's appeal as a cultural tourism destination, especially among the younger generation. The results of data analysis show that social media plays a very important role and has a significant impact in increasing the number of visitors and strengthening Lokananta's image as a cultural heritage of Indonesian music.Keywords: Social Interaction; Social Media; Cultural TourismAbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji peran media sosial dalam mempromosikan dan mengembangkan wisata budaya Lokananta di Kota Surakarta. Abstract

Although traditional travel agents have played an important role as proxies enabling travelers to make connections with hotels, the emergence of the internet has changed the traditional relationship between hotels and travel agents. Instead of a traditional agent–principal relationship, online travel agents (OTAs) seem to act as more than just intermediaries and more as business partners or vendors. Scholars have previously observed troubled, if not hostile, relationships between hotels and OTAs. There has been a growing tendency for hotel and accommodation business worldwide to use online travel agents (OTAs) to promote and sell their rooms. This research discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the promotion and sales through OTAs for hotel business in Kaliurang a famous tourism destination object in Yogyakarta. The object of the research is the hotel manager, supervisors and staff who handle the hotel promotion and sales of their accommodation business. Hotel were located in Kaliurang chosen based on cluster proportional and the informants were chosen based on purposive sampling technique. The result shows that the disadvantages in using OTAs as promotion and sales tool are rising occupancy, direct payment, and as a tool in making hotel well known worldwide. The disadvantages are decrease net sales, over booking, negative comments could downgrade the hotels rank, and OTAs make hotels website got limited traffic. The motivation of hotel managements in using OTAs is highly motivated. The dominant factor of the perception included factors in self-perception of the target, factor in the self-perception, and factors perception of situation. This research suggests to the villa management to recruit special personnel for handling OTAs as well as to manage own websites to increase the net sales.

Abstract

AbstractSade Village is a village that is famous for its original and traditional culture in massive modernization in various parts of the world. The authenticity of the culture that the residents of Sade Village still maintain attracts the attention of various tourists, both local and foreign tourists to visit. In the midst of tourist interest, Sade Village then turned into an independent tourist village that relied on its culture as a livelihood or what is called cultural commercialization. Through this paper, researchers will discuss how the commercialization of culture in Sade Village affects the indigenous culture in Sade Village itself using the perspective of modernization and cultural commodification with data collected through qualitative research methods through primary and secondary data collection techniques. The result of this study is that the commercialization of culture in Sade Village does not eliminate their original culture. Keaslian budaya yang masih dijaga oleh penduduk Desa Sade ini menarik perhatian berbagai wisatawan baik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara untuk berkunjung. Di tengah ketertarikan wisatawan, Desa Sade kemudian berubah menjadi desa wisata mandiri yang mengandalkan budaya mereka sebagai mata pencaharian atau yang disebut dengan komersialisasi budaya. Melalui tulisan ini peneliti akan membahas mengenai bagaimana komersialisasi budaya di Desa Sade mempengaruhi budaya asli yang ada di Desa Sade itu sendiri menggunakan perspektif modernisasi dan komodifikasi budaya dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode penelitian kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data secara primer maupun sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa komersialisasi budaya di Desa Sade tidak menghilangkan budaya asli mereka namun terdapat sedikit modifikasi budaya yang dilakukan untuk memenuhi tuntutan wisatawan.Kata Kunci: Budaya; Komersialisasi; Pariwisata
