TAKAMUL is a journal of Gender and Child Studies is published by Pusat Studi Wanita Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. First published in 2012, this journal is published twice a year in June and December. This is a scientific communication media for enthusiasts and observers of gender and children study. The editor receives articles of gender and children study from academics, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students. The articles will be published after a mechanism of selection, being examined by the expert, and editing process. This journal is open-access which means that everyone can access for individual or institution for free. A user will be allowed reading, downloading, copying, distributing, producing, creating a link from the article, or using for academic writing under the condition of publication ethics. This journal has been indexed by national and international indexing website, such as CrossRef. And this journal has Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Takammul : Jurnal Studi Gender dan Islam Serta Perlindungan Anak mempublikasikan karya ilmiah dan hasil penelitian yang fokus pada issu gender, keluarga dan anak melalui pendekatan multidisipliner.

Understanding verses and hadiths that gender bias, often used as a legitimation for inequality relationships women and men. Forexample, the interpretation of the word nafs wahidah that could be interpreted as Adam or also of the same material with Adam. However, the important thing is, that it does not mean there are more superior than others. Understanding verses and hadiths that gender bias is also found in understanding the hadith about the creation of woman from the rib. The creation of woman from the rib here is not in the true meaning, but often harfiyah interpreted giving rise to the perception that women in Islam is a second being. This understanding arises because of an incomplete understanding of the meaning of the verse and the hadith, and also due to the only partial understanding.

Tindakan adopsi tidak hanya dipandang sebagai perbuatan ingin mengasuh anak-anak yang tidak mendapat pengasuhan yang sempurna dari orangtua atau walinya akan tetapi tindakan adopsi sudah menjadi sebuah tindakan yang bertujuan untuk kepentingan pribadi orangtua angkat. Dengan demikian, tindakan adopsi dewasa ini sudah berubah dari tujuan dasarnya. Salah satu bukti telah terjadinya pergeseran tujuan adopsi adalah adanya kasus orangtua angkat yang mencantumkan namanya di belakang nama anak angkat ketika mengurus akta kelahiran. Berdasarkan fenomena di atas, dilakukanlah penelitian tentang pandangan hukum Islam terkait dengan pencantuman nama ayah angkat di belakang nama anak angkat dengan mengkaji pandangan ulama empat mazhab. Penelitian kualitatif (library research) ini mengumpulkan data dengan merujuk kepada kitab-kitab ulama empat mazhab sebagai referensi utama dan kitab-kitab lain yang berkaitan dengan pandangan ulama empat mazhab berdasarkan kasus yang dilakukan oleh beberapa orangtua seperti yang terjadi di beberapa wilayah di propinsi Aceh dengan mewawancara sejumlah tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan kejelasan hukum penisbatan anak angkat kepada orangtua angkat menurut pandangan ulama empat mazhab berdasarkan dalil-dalil yang digunakan oleh mereka.

Women empowerment through Woman Econamic Enterprise or Economic Enterprise which is handled by women and in Banda Aceh, has demonstrated its ability to build the economy of the members. However,only a few of Woman Econamic Enterprise in Banda Aceh which operates and only a few of Economic Enterprise which is running according to Economic Enterprise rules. Women Economic Enterprise in Jakarta Surabaya, Jakarta, Lombok and other areas have run very good and normally get over of hundreds of billions in a year. Based on their experience it does not close the opertunity for Aceh especially in Banda Aceh to develop Women Economic Enterprise, because it is one of the important place for women to empower themselves, especially in managing the economic life of the family and society to be better.

Healthy personality is a view of personality that is in accordance with the concept of Islamic personality. Individual Muslims are required to have healthy personalities in accordance with Islamic teachings. The reality is still many Muslim individuals have an unhealthy personality in their daily life. This can be seen from the attitude, behavior and mindset of Muslim individuals who are still far from the guidance of Islamic teachings in various aspects of life. If this happens it is feared will affect the generation of Islam. Counseling the development of healthy personality in children can be done based on the phase of child development so that the child is in a state ready to accept and easy to understand what is given. The loving treatment of parents and education on religious values and socio-cultural values is a conducive factor for preparing children for a healthy person. In addition, a harmonious and religious family atmosphere will form a healthy personality in children. Personality owned by children will affect the morals, morals, manners, ethics, and aesthetics of children when interacting and communicating with other people in everyday life wherever he is.

Gender equality and equity is not a strange matter anymore in talks. Islam has well introduced equal opportunity concept between men and women. Therefore, to understand it is a must. A good perception of the Islamic perspective of gender in Muslim family will results empowerment toward men, women, and couple, and create a good relationship among each other in a family. This activity necessitates balances between husband and wife both in efforts and results. Growth and development of the good relationship in a family are one of the outcomes of motivation and norms application given based on equality that whoever, men and women as godly human beings, do good things will get the same and not be mistreated.

Stereotypes about women's lower self-concept than men not only found in everyday speaking, but is also supported by the results of research and scientific studies. Some stereotypes that have rooted and considered as absolutely truth in the society like women not independent, timid, indecisive, not suitable to be a leader, and irrational. These kinds of stereotypes cause some impacts on women perceptions themselves. Actually this is a form of self-concept that inadvertently learned and eventually internalized in women. In other words, a stereotype has been shackled feelings, thoughts and perspectives of women against themselves which affects the low self-esteem.

Nowadays, ignoring family often results separation inside the family, especially after the avail- ability of Law Domestic Violence (Domestic Violence Act). However, Islamic judiciance (Fiqh) looks differently toward this case so that it is necessary to study fiqh muqarran. Furthermore, this argument needs to be related to the phenomenon that occurs due to the Domestic Violence Act.

Pengajaran Al-Qur’an bagi anak usia dini merupakan tanggung jawab bersama antar keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Karena dengan adanya Pengajaran Al-Qur’an maka seseorang itu akan mempunyai pengetahuan tentang suatu wawasan Al-Qur’an. Dan awal pengajaran itu di mulai sejak anak usia dini atau sejak lahir karena pendidikan usia dini pada dasarnya berpusat pada kebutuhan anak, yaitu pendidikan yang berdasarkan pada minat, kebutuhan, dan kemampuan sang anak. Oleh karena itu, peran pendidik sangatlah penting, dan pendidik harus mampu memfasilitasi aktivitas anak dengan material yang beragam. Sudah menjadi tradisi dari generasi ke generasi di dusun Diwai Makam Gampong Lambaroskep Kecamatan Kuta Alam Kota Banda Aceh melaksanakan Beut al-Qur’an Ba’da Magrib dan berakhir saat shalat Isya berjamaah. Pelaksanaannya dipusatkan di rumah tengku (guru ngaji). Pesertanya adalah anak usia sekolah dasar atau anak usia 5 hingga 12 tahun. Dalam perkembangannya pembiasaan terhadap wajib Beut al-Qur’an ba’da Maghrib dipengaruhi oleh beberapa unsur, diantaranya minat anak, dorongan dan pengawasan orang tua, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan juga lingkungan sosial yang ada sekitar.

Women who have multiple roles in the society known as "the" career woman "'. Various conditions of life faced, including the increase of the quality of education of women, leads to the rise of woman role in the public sphere, either as a part of her self-actualization or due to economic demands to support her family. However, the multi-role of women is still a matter of controversy in the community. Thus, the clarification is necessary to correct the perceptions between domestic and public functions and their relations to women actual function as caliphs in the earth, where they have an equal role with men in terms of amar ma 'ruf nahi mungkar, that is spreading the daâ€™wah values in the society. This will be the main focus of this paper.

The long conflict in Aceh, have men and women discouraged to take part in society. Nevertheless, there are still figures of women who want and dare to do community organizing until the era of Aceh Peace. This article explains what and how the role of some women figures in South Aceh, both as activists and women leaders. This ethnographic research and women's role show that women contribute greatly to development, even in difficult situations such as conflict.The roles are initiating and strengthening women's organizations, enhancing human resource capacity, empowering the economy, initiating organizations specifically dealing with women and children who are vulnerable to violence, facilitating and supporting women in the political sphere. The involvement of women figures is based on several factors: 1) Their concerns about the socio-political conditions of Aceh, 2) Disillusionment with the gender bias in society that makes the space for women in the public very limited.
