Abstract

Toddler Family Development (BKB) is a forum for families with toddlers to increase the knowledge and ability of parents to care for their children to avoid stunting. Pulau Jambu Village is one of the areas in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, which has the highest stunting incidence in Kampar Regency. Empowerment of mothers through educational education with modeling methods is needed to increase the knowledge and skills of mothers in increasing the growth and development of children. The purpose of the activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of mothers in stimulating the growth and development of children aged 0-18 months. The method of activity is providing education for 4 meetings and the practice of baby massage which is carried out from March to June 2021. The results of the activity obtained an increase in mother's knowledge about growth and development with a value of 76.24 to 92.44, as well as mother's skills in doing baby massage, namely from 56.40 to 83.88. Counseling on the growth and development of toddlers can be continued by cadres and village officials to prevent stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

Salah satu daerah di Yogyakarta yang terletak di daerah Imogiri, terdapat sebuah minuman unik dan menyehatkan, yakni Wedang Uwuh. Wedang adalah kata dalam bahasa Jawa yang berarti minuman, sedangkan uwuh berarti sampah. Minuman ini dinamakan demikian karena bahan-bahan yang berupa dedaunan mirip dengan sampah. Warung Maremi memiliki potensi untuk berkembang yaitu pembelian produknya sudah mencapai luar pulau meskipun hanya melalui orang ke orang. Sehingga permasalahan dari unit Wedang Uwuh Maremi ini ada di bagian pemasaran dari produknya karena pemilik mitra ini hanya memiliki whatsapp dan belum memiliki e-commerce lain. Seperti yang kita semua ketahui, virus Covid-19 membuat kita terbatas untuk melakukan apapun. Adanya pandemi berdampak buruk bagi semua aspek yang ada di negara ini bahkan seluruh dunia ini. Salah satu aspek yang sangat berdampak karena wabah ini adalah aspek ekonomi. Virus Covid-19 membuat pemerintah harus mengeluarkan peraturan Pembatasan Sosial Skala Besar, dimana orang-orang yang tidak punya kepentingan dilarang keras untuk keluar rumah, dan jika ada kepentingan mendesak masyarakatpun harus mematuhi peraturan protokol yang ada dengan menggunakan masker dan saling menjaga jarak. , para pemilik UMKM harus memutar otak dan mencari cara agar produk mereka tetap mendapatkan perhatian dan minat dari konsumen. Sehingga pola pemasaran pun berubah terlebih ketika diberlakukan social distancing dan Pembatasan Sosial Skala Besar.

Abstract

Early age is the age when the pattern of growth and development is very rapid. This must be accompanied by proper education regarding growth and development, otherwise at this age the child will be susceptible to abnormalities. These disorders can be in the form of gait disorders. One of the most important parts that affect the biomechanical and musculoskeletal structures of the foot is the arch of the foot or arcus pedis. The consequences of an arch that does not grow normally include balance disorders, fatigue when walking for a long time, continuing deformity, and pain. Flat foot is the most common deformity or deformity of the foot in children. The activity was carried out at the TK-KB Al-Quran Terpadu Bintangku Surakarta school with a total of 60 children. The purpose of this activity is to see the prevalence of flat foot and preventive measures are delivered in the form of early detection using the Clarke's angle test. This program was carried out in May 2022. The results of this activity had a good impact in helping to increase children's knowledge about flat foot and it was found that the prevalence of cases was mostly experienced by males than females. The author hopes that schools can continue to routinely check flat foot activities considering that flat feet often do not cause symptoms, so early age screening is needed.

Abstract

The University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Real Work Lecture (KKN) activity during this pandemic used a new scheme, based on Information Technology, because it was still facing the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Implementation of real work lectures based on Information Technology (IT), the 019 KKN IT UMY group chose the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) of Pak Sulaiman's Original Honey in Mangunan Village as partners in implementing the work program compiled by the 019 KKN IT UMY group. The target of the Real Work Lecture service activity in Mangunan Village, Dlingo District, Bantul Regency. This activity is related to partner, Wild Bee Honey UMKM, in Mangunan Village. With the main target of this KKN activity is to develop the Wild Bee Honey UMKM to be more developed in the process of production, presentation, and product marketing.

Abstract

Halal products generally can be seen from the Halal Certificate and or Halal Label on the product packaging. However, halal products often are sold with products that have not been guaranteed to the Halal in one place of display such as in supermarkets or the market, so it can’t be known the halalness of the product. To know halal and thayyib products, knowledge of foodstuffs are classified as halal and thayyib is needed. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to socialize and educate related halal and thayyib products, the ingredients used in the product manufacturing process, and the halal critical point of each ingredient and or product. This form of activity is in the form of education and socialization about halal and thayyib materials and or products that enter, circulate, and be traded in the territory of Indonesia. To see the success rate and satisfaction of participants in this PKM activity are done through pretest, posttest, and questionnaire. The result of this PKM is that the participants can understand that the products that enter, circulate, and are traded in the territory of Indonesia are syubhat, so they must be halal certified. In addition, the participants of the PKM program can know and or distinguish what ingredients or products are halal or haram, as well as which are thayyib and which are not thayyib.

Abstract

The world is entering the stage of globalization 4.0 which is marked by the spread of digital technology and the formation of a digital society across national borders, nations and ages. For the education, this condition affects the literacy. Although the illiteracy rate in Indonesia continues to decrease, the reading interest is still low. This condition is worrying if we relate it to globalization 4.0, which opens wide the faucet of information to Indonesia. Children without good literacy skills do not have a good filter in absorbing information, good or bad, right or wrong. Provision of literacy skills for children is important from early age. This can be played by teachers at the elementary school level. This service aims to conduct training for teachers to design literacy programs that are attractive to students, so as to increase students' interest in reading and make students well literate. The partner is SDIT LHI Yogyakarta. The training includes a balanced literacy approach; introduction to leveled books; and the methods teaching at students' level. The output of the activity is to increase the capacity of teachers in making child-friendly literacy programs. This capability can then be applied to increase children's interest in reading and promote literacy movements in building a smart Indonesian digital society.

Abstract

The Sabo Dam (Dam) of the Pabelan River, as a water system infrastructure for agricultural land, has the potential to be used by the community as a tourist destination. Since being built in 2018, the Pabelan River dam area has not been used for activities other than irrigation. The area has enormous potential if it is used as a tourist destination. The use of the dam area as a tourist attraction is considered very appropriate, considering the Pabelan Village area is the entrance area for the international tourist area of Borobudur Temple. This is a huge advantage and potential, especially in introducing new tourist destinations to the public. The Sabo Dam Sungai Pabelan tourist attraction can be developed into several types of tourism, such as jeep adventure tours, camping grounds, educational tours, and outbound. But the problem is that there is no supporting infrastructure now. Two-wheeled vehicles can only traverse the road or access this dam. In fact, one or two points are rather difficult for two-wheeled vehicles to pass, and one must be careful. Infrastructure facilities are needed because they will facilitate and provide comfort for visitors to visit the dam tourist attraction. The solution offered to solve the problems faced is revitalizing dam tourism infrastructure by designing infrastructure that supports dam tourism. The partner of this service activity is the Karang Taruna Pabelan Village. The target is the existence of a blueprint for dam tourism infrastructure, which is achieved by designing with Google Sketch Up which begins with surveys and measurements of service locations.

Abstract

The enhancement of teacher quality is urgently needed to improve the quality of learning to be more competitive globally. The Centre for Development of Teachers and Education Personnel (CDETEP) in Science or PPPPTK IPA, a technical unit under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology conducted a Massive-Open-Online Training (DIDAMBA). It was an alternative solution for teachers to increase their competence and professionalism economically and time-effectively. It was openly offered to teachers and education personnel in Indonesia. It aimed to improve their skills as educators and leaders to their students and school communities. A research was carried out to find out the effectivity of DIDAMBA. The Quasi Experiment Method with one-group pretest-postest was adopted in this research. The instrument was a set of test items. The targeted samples were taken from the Course of English for Teaching Science of DIDAMBA Batch 15 and 16 with 17 teachers of each batch. From the data, It was found out that the normalized gain point of Batch 15 was 0,74 whose high effectivity and Batch 16 was 0,60 whose average effectivity. Therefore, a recommendation came up that DIDAMBA was quite effective to improve the competence of teachers and education personnel in Indonesia. More themes are suggested to develop and offer to teachers and education personnel in Indonesia to support the government efforts to empower the quality education.

Abstract

Background: The golden period of growth and development of children occurs at the age of 0 to 6 years. Deviations in child growth and development needs to be detected so that intervention or stimulation can be given. Early detection (screening) of deviations in child development can be done using the DDST II (Denver Development Screening Test) method. KB Terpadu Intan Permata Aisyiah Makamhaji has slowly returned to using the face-to-face learning system. However, efforts to monitor the growth and development of the students have not been implemented yet. Objective: To obtain demographic information about the growth and development of students in KB Terpadu Intan Permata Aisyiah Makamhaji. Methods: Screening for the growth and development of students of KB Terpadu Intan Permata Aisyiah Makamhaji was carried out in 2 stages. The first stage is measuring the child's growth rate through measuring their weight and height to determine their BMI and adjusted for age. The second stage is the measurement of children's developmental achievements using the DDST II form and tool set. Results: Measurement of growth rate obtained 85% of students have very thin nutritional status and only 0.05% are classified as normal nutritional status. Measurement of developmental achievement found that 90% of students had normal development, while others were considered suspicious and unstable. The gross motor aspect is one aspect in which most students are considered advanced.Conclusion: The growth rate of students in KB Terpadu Intan Permata Aisyiah Makamhaji is still not in accordance with the age level, while the achievement of their development is quite good
