Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dibingkai dalam bentuk pelatihan ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa seseorang bisa menjadi guru Pelayanan Anak dan Remaja (PAR) tanpa melihat tingkat pendidikannya. Latar belakang pendidikan guru PAR di Klasis Kota Kupang Timur beragam, mulai dari SMA, D3, S1 dan S2. Seseorang bisa menjadi guru PAR hanya karena panggilan pelayanan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di gedung kebaktian Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT) Jemaat Benyamin Oebufu dan berlangsung selama 2 hari. Ada 5 orang narasumber yang dipercayakan memberikan materi dan pelatihan bagi 35 orang peserta kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa pelatihan ini menunjukkan bagwa guru PAR di Klasis Kota Kupang Timur mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan tentang kurikulum PAR serta mendapatkan keterampilan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Guru PAR terlatih untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi berupa Autentic Helathy serta media pembelajaran Top Up.

Abstract

Kampung Payung is a themed village located on Jalan LA Sucipto in Pandanwangi Village, Blimbing District, Malang City. The community's awareness and concern for waste disposal is still very low. People frequently dump garbage into rivers, and many others burn garbage, do not sort waste, and pile it up. The intervention in 2020 resulted in the formation of a community that cares about the environment and initiated the behavior of sorting waste from inside the house for 17 community members out of a total of 60 residents of RW 03. However, after two years, the behavior of sorting waste decreased and the behavior of throwing garbage in the community worsened. In 2022, community intervention aims to strengthen and improve waste sorting behavior for dasawisma members who have been sorting waste in their respective homes by using token economy, prompting, and psychoeducation methods to increase knowledge of domestic waste management and strengthen environmental care communities. The program participants were 9 women from Dasawisma Kampung Payung who were chosen based on their willingness to participate in the behavior and community strengthening program. Data collection methods include surveys, documentation, interviews, and observations. The behavior change technique uses behavior modification techniques such as economic tokens and prompting, whereas knowledge change is accomplished through psychoeducation, which is assessed via pretest and posttest. According to the findings of the intervention, economic tokens, prompting, and psychoeducation have been shown to strengthen waste sorting behavior and increase participants' knowledge of waste sorting behavior.

Abstract

Terapi ARV menjadi standar perawatan minimal pada ODHA. Lamanya perawatan berdampak pada kepatuhan ODHA dalam konsumsi ARV. Ketidakpatuhan pengobatan ARV akan mengakibatkan loss to follow-up dan dapat memperburuk kondisinya. Kader sosial aktif untuk membantu pemerintah dalam mencapai tujuan mencegah loss to follow-up, namun kendala yang dihadapinya adalah kurang optimalnya monitoring konsumsi ARV dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang terapi ARV. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat dan optimalisasi peran kader pendamping ODHA. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu focus group discussion dengan kader pendamping ODHA perihal tantangan dan strategi penyelesaian masalah, penyusunan panduan monitoring konsumsi ARV bagi ODHA yang dapat digunakan oleh kader sosial, dan pelatihan bagi kader pendamping ODHA tentang penguasaan konsep ARV dan manajemen pencegahan loss to follow-up. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan ada penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi kader sosial berupa strategi monitoring konsumsi ARV dan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan ODHA tentang terapi ARV dan upaya mengurangi kejadian loss to follow-up. Harapannya kegiatan ini akan terus berlanjut untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan dari strategi penyelesaian masalah ini dan kader sosial dapat berperan aktif dalam menurunkan kejadian loss to follow-up.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar (SD) Muhammadiyah Tamantirto Bantul merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan sekolah dasar dibawah naungan yayasan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Kasihan. Kendala yang sering dihadapi di SD tersebut adalah kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa saat pembelajaran tatap muka. Pengabdian ini mengusulkan solusi berupa pelatihan pembuatan video bahan ajar menggunakan Microft Power Point dan Youtube. Pemilihan Microsoft Power Point sebagai aplikasi penunjang pembuatan video karena interface aplikasi ini dirasa sudah lebih familiar terutama dikalangan guru namun penggunaanya masih belum maksimal. Pada pelatihan ini guru dikenalkan dengan tools record slide show untuk membuat video dari slide presentasi yang telah disiapkan. Dari pelatihan ini para guru mendapatkan keterampilan baru yang diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan dan memotivasi para guru untuk saling berkolaborasi memberikan inovasi baru dalam membuat sebuah media pembelajaran yang efektif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Sukamukti Village is the village chosen to get the “Power To Youth” Program by Garut Regency because of the high rate of child marriage and dispensation of marriage. This is an urgent problem because the impact will be detrimental to youth as the nation's next generation because they are at risk of having poor quality reproductive health. In an effort to build reproductive health, there must be activities to support changing people's views regarding the importance of reproductive health. The aim of reproductive health counseling is to increase insight and knowledge so as to increase youth awareness of the importance of maintaining reproductive health and reducing the number of child marriages in Sukamukti Village. Through the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method to analyze youth problems by the SEMAK Foundation, it can be seen from the high number of child marriages and requests for dispensation from marriage at KUA due to the lack of knowledge of parents and youth. The results of this service have made the Banyuresmi Youth Communication Forum in Sukamukti Village more appreciated by the government and the community, obtained legality by the village government as a CSO that focuses on adolescent health, and can be productive through youth posyandu. Suggestions for the village government are to give authority to the Sukamukti youth group to be able to participate in making policies specifically for youth in supporting equality, welfare, fulfilling children's basic rights in maintaining reproductive health.

Abstract

Counseling is carried out to provide education to parents (mothers) about stunting such as signs of child symptoms indicating stunting and prevent stunting with adequate nutrition and train gross and fine motor stimulation independently at home. The method used in this counseling was in the form of health promotion regarding stunting in Mojopurno Village, Madiun Regency using poster media, giving pre-tests and post-tests in the form of questions to patients which are useful for measuring the effectiveness of counseling about stunting and providing training counseling carried out at home. Counseling ran smoothly and could be understood by parents (mothers) so that the results of the evaluation showed an increase in participants from 0% to 100% after the material was given. This activity can increase the knowledge of parents (mothers) in preventing stunting in children.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with PKK mothers in Karya Indah Village, Kec. Tapung, Kab. Kampar, Riau. Law Number 6 of 2014 article 6 concerning Villages states that village arrangements aim to advance the economy of village communities and overcome national development gaps. The village community without exception includes women in the village of Karya Indah Village, Kec. Tapung, Riau is actually a village potential and asset that can help improve family welfare in particular and improve village welfare in general. The service method is carried out by providing counseling, demonstrations and training. The purpose of this service is expected to solve community problems, namely the low ability of the community in entrepreneurship so that they can contribute to increasing the potential of partners, especially the community by improving the quality of human resources. The level of achievement of the goals of this service program can be said to be successful, which can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the service activities and the ability of the service participants to answer questions after completing the counseling and training provided. The recommendation from this community service activity is that it is necessary to have similar repetitive activities related to training which are related to increasing the potential of the community through training.

Abstract

Knowledge of the operation of the Online version of Zahir Accounting as one of the Cloud Accounting applications is very important, especially for Vocational High School (SMK) students. As graduates who are ready to work, expertise in operating the Online version of Zahir Accounting must be possessed by SMK graduates because currently many companies are using the application. This community service activity is carried out in the form of offline training on Zahir Accounting for students of the Accounting and Institutional Finance Department at SMKN 1 Dumai. Currently, students of SMKN 1 Dumai have never received training on the operation of the Online version of Zahir Accounting. Basically, this training activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to SMKN 1 Dumai students about the use of the Online version of Zahir Accounting Software so that it can be a way to increase student competence, especially in terms of Cloud Accounting technology. This training was attended by 20 students of SMKN 1 Dumai majoring in Accounting and Institutional Finance. The results of the review of this training show that in general the participants' satisfaction related to the implementation of the training is very good, and in general the participants understand the training material well. It is hoped that the Online version of Zahir Accounting will become one of the students' teaching materials related to accounting and financial management with cloud accounting technology.

Abstract

Media massa berperan penting dalam perkembangan informasi. Begitu juga media sosial kini menjadi tambahan referensi mencari informasi yang lebih ringkas dan menarik. Inilah gaya konsumsi media khususnya anak muda di Indonesia era digital. Sebagai pelajar tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), siswa/i masih minim bagaimana mendapatkan informasi dari media massa yang baik dan sesuai kebutuhan. Konten yang menarik dinilai sebagai konten yang menghibur dan memotivasi seseorang menjadi seperti yang dilihat di media sosial. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengedukasi siswa/i dalam memilah informasi yang tepat dan tidak gegabah menerapkan pola hidup sehat, khususnya dalam mempercayai konten makanan. Berdasarkan landaskan pedoman gizi seimbang, edukasi makanan diterapkan dengan model Isi Piringku, melalui metode studi kasus, peserta mengaku tidak memahami bagaimana sistem kerja media sosial dan “aturan main” mengonsumsi media massa. Sosialisasi ini berupa penyuluhan, kemudian praktik pengecekan data teks pada konten di media massa dan media sosial menggunakan website https://turnbackhoax.id dan atau Google Fact Check, memahami konsumsi makanan sesuai Isi Piringku. Responden menyatakan bahwa 56,3% mengetahui tentang konsep ‘Isi Piringku’, namun belum memahami konsep berlandaskan Gizi Seimbang. Dalam sikap dan praktik belum banyak menerapkan rekomendasi Gizi Seimbang tersebut. Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, siswa mendapat pemahaman mengenai nutrisi yang tepat untuk kebutuhan asupan sehari-hari serta proses simulasi Isi Piringku.

Abstract

The Kedungsari area, Mranggen, is one of the salak producers in the Magelang area. With so much production of salak fruit, a lot of waste of salak fruit and seeds is thrown away. Utilization of waste requires processing of these wastes into other products that have economic value. The service carried out has the aim of providing education to partners (Kedungsari residents) so that the salak waste can be processed into useful products for the community. At least 30 people participated in this activity, and the majority of the residents who attended were members of the Kedungsari Family Welfare Development (PKK). To expedite activities and assist the PKK in Srumbung, Mranggen was also provided with a zalacca seed grinding tool for smooth competency development and also a means of generating income for households and the community in Mranggen. Figure 2 shows a graph of the satisfaction level of residents/socialization participants. The activities carried out were training in making zalacca flesh into food products and zalacca seeds into coffee. To help make it easier for partners to process zalacca seeds, a seed grinding unit was given to partners to support villagers in processing zalacca seeds. At the implementation stage, the activities were carried out in 2 forms of training, namely training on processing zalacca fruit into food products and training on processing zalacca seeds for coffee. At least 30 people participated in this activity, with very satisfactory survey results
