Abstract

One of the current phenomena is the limited ability of PAUD teachers in designing the interiors of PAUD classrooms and the lack of Educational Game Tools. This causes the child to create a pleasant atmosphere for himself by showing emotional behaviors that do not have empathy for the teacher who is teaching and friends who are following the lesson. Therefore, knowledge and skills of teachers are needed in designing the room. One method that can be used to help make interior design more effective is to use the Kaizen method which is defined as continious improvement. Community service activities in the form of skills training with lecture methods and direct practice. The interior design in each PAUD classroom is given for attic, wall and floor elements based on character values. The learning atmosphere, especially for early childhood, will be safe, comfortable and fun so that the emotional problems that are often encountered in children will be resolved.

Abstract

Pharmacists play a crucial role in the health sector as one of the professions, especially when it comes to drug education. One of the pharmacist's responsibilities is to promote the pharmacy profession and healthy drug usage from a young age. The fifth-grade children at MI Nur Ikhlas receive this service using socialization and educational techniques as well as instructional materials. The information delivered took the form of a summary of the pharmacy field and DaGuSiBu topics. This activity seeks to present pharmacists as health professionals and as a source of knowledge regarding the use of suitable medications to improve health status. The results of this service show that students are very enthusiastic and active in participating in activities, resulting in a change in students' knowledge about drug use. This type of education must be expanded to include more participants from various schools so that an increasing number of elementary school students understand how to use drugs rationally.

Abstract

Evacuation of victims is an activity of moving victims from the scene of the incident to a safe place, so that in the end the victim gets further treatment and treatment. Preparedness can also be defined as a state of readiness in the face of a crisis, disaster or other emergency. Preparedness aims to minimize the side effects of hazards through effective, timely, adequate, and efficient preventive measures for emergency response actions and assistance during disasters. The method used is a simulation method of self-evacuation for residents. The purpose of this counseling is to train residents so that residents understand how to self-evacuate in a fire condition. The results were obtained before the simulation was carried out, a pre-test was carried out for 30 residents, the average result was 56, which means low and after the simulation and post-test were given, the score became 86, which means good for community preparedness. used to improve the preparedness

Abstract

The elderly is a group that is vulnerable to nutritional and health problems, especially problems related to degenerative diseases. Currently, Indonesia and the whole world are experiencing a corona virus pandemic or covid_19. The elderly are the group most at risk for contracting COVID_19. The purpose of community service is to increase the knowledge of the elderly about balanced nutrition in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic. The method of community service in the form of education and counseling uses WhatsApp (WA) media for the elderly or elderly families. The target group is the elderly or elderly families who are in the Working Area of ​​the Sapta Taruna Health Center Pekanbaru City. Telephone number/WA data for elderly or elderly families is needed to contact the elderly to participate as participants in educational and counseling activities. The material provided is balanced nutrition to increase body resistance in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Community service activities in the form of delivering material, health checks (blood pressure, measurement of height, weight and abdominal circumference) through meetings with the elderly then followed by education through Whatapps Group. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in the knowledge of the elderly about balanced nutrition. This activity is expected to be a programmed and scheduled activity between the Health Centre and educational institutions and the next stage should be holding a meeting again with the health protocol by involving the elderly's family, so that the family can pass on information and education to the elderly.

Abstract

Palm leaf craft is a small business craft made from palm leaves and the frame of the craft is made of bamboo. This craft is manifested in the form of a cake/food cover which is often called "Bosara", which is a special food/cake cover for traditional events or government activities. The existence of Lontar leaf handicrafts in Tindang Village is the result of the creativity of residents who take advantage of the many Lontar trees that grow in the Village, there are many craftsmen in Tindang Village but the partners in this PKM are the "seruni" craftsmen group and the "tulip" craftsmen group, the activities will be held on 15-16 November 2022. This craft business is still managed very simply due to limited capital and is only produced if someone orders it. Therefore this PKM aims to: 1) increase partners' understanding of financial accounting; 2) improve the ability of partners in online marketing. The program implementation methods carried out are: (1) Financial bookkeeping training; (2) marketing training; and (3) assistance. The results of the evaluation of PKM activities show that 95% of participants have experienced increased knowledge about business management and 95% of participants have increased their skills in making websites as a means of online marketing.

Abstract

Background : In carrying out daily activities, of course, it requires good body health, but with age the body's health condition decreases which is prone to problems, one of which is osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a cartilage disorder characterized by cartilage degeneration and reduced synovial fluid in a joint which eventually causes joint stiffness, swelling, pain, and limited mobility. Objective : The counseling was held aimed at providing education to the elderly about cases of osteoarthritis, especially about the definition, symptoms, causes, prevention and benefits of active and active resisted exercise at home to reduce complaints of elderly people with osteoarthritis. Research methode : The method used is to provide health education about osteoarthritis to the elderly by using leaflets as a media for counseling, giving pre-test and post-test in the form of questions to the elderly in order to measure the effectiveness of the education provided. Result : The counseling went smoothly and in the evaluation results there was an increase in the knowledge of the elderly from 20% to 100% after being given education. The outreach activities that have been carried out at the Elderly Posyandu “KRESNA”, RW 11-Bedali Indah, Ds. Bedali, Lawang, Malang can increase the knowledge and insight of the elderly about osteoarthritis and how to prevent and treat osteoarthritis independently by doing active exercise and active resisted exercise.

Abstract

There are several problems if an institution issues a letter conventionally. A conventional letter uses signatures and stamps that are easily forged. Conventional systems are also considered inefficient in terms of time and cost. Bina Jaya Palembang Vocational School is an educational institution in Palembang that conducts correspondence as one of its administrative activities. This community service program aims to socialize digital mail applications that can help increase the efficiency of correspondence activities and prevent the forgery of letters. This activity was carried out by disseminating a research result in a digital letter application. The first stage of this socialization activity is the preparation stage, followed by the initial survey, the implementation of the service, and the reporting stage. This socialization activity leads to the conclusion that the participants can understand the importance of using this digital mail application and its procedures.

Abstract

Dungus Regional General Hospital is one of the hospitals located in the city of Madiun. Patients who visit the hospital, especially in the physiotherapy clinic, are mostly elderly. As we know, a degenerative process will make a person experience a setback, especially in physical function, one of which is musculoskeletal problems such as knee osteoarthritis (knee pain). With this case, counseling about knee osteoarthritis was carried out aiming to find out what is meant by knee osteoarthritis, what are the signs when exposed to knee osteoarthritis and how to treat it at home to reduce the pain experienced. The method used is by providing counseling to the community, in the form of health promotion about knee osteoarthritis, by using leaflets as a medium, to facilitate public understanding, conducting useful debriefing to gather information about complaints experienced by the community, and educating with exercises and handling that can be done at home to reduce complaints. The counseling process went smoothly, the community began to understand the exercises they had been taught to do at home, with the aim of getting people's understanding from 0% to 100% after the counseling was carried out. So that there is a decrease in the level of pain experienced by the community after doing exercises at home. With the counseling activities carried out to the community, it can increase people's knowledge about knee osteoarthritis, how to treat it at home and can reduce the pain experienced.

Abstract

Dungus Lung Hospital is a lung hospital in Madiun Regency, East Java. The majority of patients at the pulmonary hospital are elderly and suffer from respiratory problems. At an advanced age, the cardiorespiratory system will experience a decrease in endurance. Lung function will decrease due to reduced elasticity of the lung tissue and chest wall, making it difficult to breathe. Some lung diseases that are often suffered are tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma, and bronchitis. Counseling activities were carried out with the aim of providing education and exercise therapy to 20 patients related to conditions when shortness of breath. The counseling presentation includes definitions, clinical descriptions of signs and symptoms, recommended positions when shortness of breath, as well as providing home program-based exercise therapy that can be done independently. The counseling media used was in the form of a leaflet equipped with a description of the exercise pictures.

Abstract

Counseling was carried out aiming to provide understanding to parents at the Jatirongo Posyandu regarding the importance of giving baby massage to babies. The presentation of the counseling that was carried out included definitions, age and time of implementation, benefits, treatment restrictions and baby massage techniques which could then be carried out again at home. The health promotion media used are in the form of posters and powerpoints accompanied by baby massage techniques. Counseling can be well received and understood and there is a question and answer session related to counseling which is carried out to measure parents' understanding regarding the counseling that has been delivered. Where the results of the final evaluation showed that there was an increase in mother's knowledge regarding the importance of baby massage from 0% to 100%. Counseling activities can increase community knowledge, especially orang tua regarding the importance of baby massage, health education about the benefits and techniques of baby massage can be provided to increase parental knowledge so that parents can do baby massage independently
