Abstract

This research was carried out in rivers and estuaries in the Batang Naras River, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra. The river is often used by residents for pond irrigation and ice factory cooling machines. This activity will indirectly affect the biota in rivers and estuaries. Macrozoobenthos is one of the biological aspects that play an important role in assessing the quality of water. The purpose of this study was to determine the community structure of macrozoobenthos in the estuary of Batang Naras. The method used is a descriptive survey. Sampling was done by purposive sampling by setting up 3 research stations. Based on the research results found 2 phyla, namely Arthropoda and Mollusca, 3 classes namely Crustacea, Insects, and Gastropods, 6 orders, 11 families, and 12 genera. The highest benthic diversity index (H') was found at station I at 1.803 and the lowest was found at station III at 1.222. This zone belongs to lightly to moderately polluted waters and the dominance value is 0.5. Diversity and dominance show moderate values. The influence of industrial activities and aquaculture disturb the amount of benthos in the estuary.

Abstract

Ecology which studies individual organisms is called autecology, the environment is mainly studied in environmental science which is applied ecology with the aim that humans can apply the basic principles and concepts of ecology in the living environment. In ecology, the relationship between living things and their environment is objective, humans are seen as equal to other living things. In environmental science, humans are distinguished from other living things, and the view of the relationship between humans and the environment is subjective (ecology and environmental science). In ecology, interactions are not only between organisms and abiotic components but also between living organisms themselves. Interactions can occur between organisms of the same type or population.

Abstract

Policy reforms and research on agricultural ecology need to be intensified to reduce land degradation and the massive ecological and chemical impacts of soil chemical pollution. This is related to the increase in population that requires clothing, food, and welfare. Furthermore, although there has been a shift toward a form of agriculture with high-added value. This problem must be solved by diversifying efforts, applying ecology to agricultural cultivation land, and making breakthroughs in making organic fertilizers with various sources and environmentally friendly ways. This is rational and can be done by involving the industry, universities, and farmer groups who are smart and productive. Regarding farming diversification, The results obtained are by the solutions offered, farmers can make liquid organic fertilizers by utilizing water measuring 200 nm to 10 m of Micro-Nano-Bubbles (MNBs). This is following the concept and is the application of Econobiotechnology. Knowledge before participating in the training in making fertilizers Organic Liquid is 74%, while knowledge after attending training on making Liquid Organic Fertilizer is 91%. The interest in learning and making Liquid Organic Fertilizer is 40%.

Abstract

Reducing maternal mortality is Indonesia's main goal for improving health. By offering high-quality antenatal care services at least four times during pregnancy with the 10T standard, efforts are made to reduce maternal mortality. In the Minister of Health Regulation No. 4/2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards (MSS) in the Health Sector, it is stated that antenatal care services are influenced by two factors. elements: internal and external. Internal factors are factors related to a person's personality and external factors are factors that influence behavior and are influenced by the environment. This research method is quantitative with a sample of 69 pregnant women in the third trimester taken by purposive sampling using questionnaires and univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis techniques. According to research findings, knowledge is the most powerful factor influencing various antenatal care services. The author advises local governments to promote understanding and support from husbands for pregnant women, especially through the "Husband Cares for Wife Class".

Abstract

Nagari VII Koto Talago, Guguk Sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, is a Nagari that has been classified as an Advanced Village by the Indonesian Ministry of Villages since 2021. However, from the point of view of its assessment, there is one variable that is still low, namely the absence of a pattern of public information disclosure (KIP) regarding the implementation of the Nagari government. If this rule regarding information disclosure is applied to practice in Nagari Government, then the Nagari Government must appoint a PPID so that the Nagari Government can properly manage information related to programs, activities, policies, and various other documentation regarding the administration of Nagari governance. With good information management, it is ensured that information services to the Nagari community will also be good so that the obligations of information disclosure as stipulated in the Village Law can be carried out optimally. Through the development of a Nagari web-based and Android-based Public Service Information System Application that can provide valid information about any programs carried out by the Nagari government, it can be seen by the public.

Abstract

The background of this research is from an initial survey conducted on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Limapuluh Kota Regency Health Office, the results showed that there were employees who lacked Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between OCB in the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Limapuluh Kota Regency Health Office with work involvement and organizational climate. The research sample consisted of 93 civil servants at the Limapuluh Kota Regency Health Office, with the sampling technique calculated using the Yamane formula in Slovin. Multiple Regression Analysis is a data analysis method used in this study. The research results reveal that on the work involvement variable (X₁) with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05) and a significant number (P-value ) of 0.000 <0.05, then H₀ is rejected or it means the work involvement variable (X₁) has a significant influence on OCB (Y). While the organizational climate variable (X₂) has a significant level of 95% ( α = 0.05) and a significant number (P-value ) of 0.004 <0.05, then H₀ is rejected or it means the organizational climate variable (X₂) has a significant influence on OCB (Y). And the results of the F-test were 42.067 with a significance figure (P-value) of 0.000, with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05) and a significant figure (P-value) of 0.000 <0.05, then H₀ was rejected or it means variable work involvement (X₁), and organizational climate (X₂) has a significant influence simultaneously on OCB variables (Y). This study also shows that work involvement (X₁) and organizational climate (X₂) can explain the dependent variable OCB (Y) of 47.2%, while the remaining 52.8% is explained by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This study discusses the parameters of Acacia leaf litter fibers in environmentally friendly composite mixtures. This parameter is used as a reference for whether Acacia leaf litter fibers have the potential to be additives to composites. The composite sample used in this study was concrete. Acacia tree leaves are leaves that have strong fibers and high resistance. Acacia trees are trees that grow rapidly and can multiply rapidly throughout the annual season in the tropics. Acacia leaf litter fibers are used as additives to produce strong and environmentally friendly composites. Testing Acacia leaf litter fiber parameters in the form of particle distribution in samples and fiber tensile tests using a Universal Testing Machine (UTM). ImageJ software carried out an analysis of the distribution of concrete constituent particles. From the analysis results, the average distribution of fine aggregate particles was 0,20 mm², coarse aggregates were 92.69 mm², and Acacia leaf fibers were 0.162 mm² for powder particles and 0.174 mm for thread-shaped particles (fiber diameter). The study results show that Acacia leaf fiber has a tensile test with a value of 6.38 kg/cm², which has good elasticity and durability so that it can be used as a composite mixture material.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy of the Mentawai Islands Regency One Stop Investment and Integrated Services Service to increase public awareness in dealing with Building Permits (IMB). This research is qualitative by conducting interviews with informants totaling 19 people from local government agencies and 15 people from the community to find out the PEMDA's strategy in increasing public awareness of managing IMB. The results of the study show that the community thinks they are building in their yard, why do they have to take care of a permit, then the building has no impact on the surrounding environment. Knowledge of building permits was obtained from the government, which had placed banners and billboards along the corridors. However, they do not want to take care of the IMB because it is not urgent and legalized and there are no applicable sanctions. The strategy to increase public awareness in managing the IMB is to conduct a lot of outreach and to place service assistant offices in the sub-districts. The next strategy is to improve the quality of IMB granting services by periodically training officers.
