Abstract

This study analyze the implementation of Islamic business ethics in the marketing strategy of Pandawa Bakery SMEs using a qualitative case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show the implementation of the 4P marketing mix, including product, price, place, and promotion. Pandawa Bakery maintains product quality, sets fair prices, and applies the principles of tawhid, justice, responsibility, free will, and truthfulness in marketing activities. The implementation of these Islamic business ethics principles has increased consumer trust and supported business sustainability in a highly competitive MSMEs market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service quality of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Medan Juanda Sub-Branch Office based on the Management Fieldwork Program conducted by students of the Sharia Business Management Study Program. The research applied a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation and documentation. The results indicate that services at BSI Medan Juanda are good, reflected in employee friendliness, transaction speed, and the clarity of product information. The implementation of sharia principles is ensured since all banking products are supervised by the Sharia Supervisory Board. However, several challenges were identified, such as long queues during peak hours, limited customer service staff, and low customer understanding of sharia products. Recommendations include adding service staff, optimizing digital services through BSI Mobile, and providing continuous socialization of sharia products. The study concludes that services at BSI Medan Juanda have met sharia service standards, although improvements are still required in efficiency and customer literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of sharia principles at the Paus Branch of the Sharia Pawnshop. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the main product of the Sharia Pawnshop is financing based on the rahn contract (Sharia pawn), which provides easy, fast disbursement of funds in accordance with Islamic principles. In addition, there are other products such as arrum, microfinance, and digital gold savings. From the contract aspect, all transactions have fulfilled the pillars and sharia law. From the principle aspect, the Sharia Pawnshop has implemented transparency, fairness and avoided elements of usury, gharar, and maysir. However, challenges remain such as low public literacy and competition with other financial institutions. Overall, the Sharia Pawnshop has carried out its operations in accordance with Sharia principles.

Abstract

This study will analyze the management of ZIS funds from various national-scale ZMOs in terms of efficiency and productivity before, during, and after the pandemic throughout the period 2018 to 2022. The data source in this study is the ZMO financial report officially published on the website of each ZMO with a total of 14 ZMOs. The methods used in this study are Data Envelopment Analysis and Malmquist Total Productivity Index. From the results of this study, it can be seen that ZMO needs to improve its operational efficiency in both input and input components. In the input component, ZMO can minimize costs such as the use of amil funds, both labor and non-labor, as well as optimizing the use of fixed assets in order to obtain more optimal ZIS fund results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of productive waqf funds in enhancing community welfare at the Micro Waqf Bank (BWM) of Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured using source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checks. The findings indicate that waqf fund management is conducted through four management functions (POAC): planning using the qardhul hasan scheme, organizing operational structures, implementing group-based financing with weekly mentoring, and controlling through regular meetings and reports. Challenges include limited human resource capacity, manual bookkeeping, and low financial literacy among beneficiaries. Strategic solutions include regular training, digitizing the reporting system, and strengthening spiritual values rooted in pesantren culture. The study concludes that systematically managed waqf funds, based on Islamic principles, significantly contribute to empowering the local community’s economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis praktik sewa kost dari perspektif Ekonomi Islam, fokus pada pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban antara pemilik dan penyewa. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada satu unit kost melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara normatif praktik sewa telah memenuhi prinsip akad al-ijarah (kesepakatan, kejelasan objek, dan imbalan). Namun, secara substantif masih ditemukan kelemahan pada kualitas fasilitas dan ketidakseimbangan posisi tawar penyewa. Disarankan adanya penguatan transparansi dan kontrak tertulis untuk meminimalisir risiko gharar (ketidakjelasan) dan ketidakadilan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan syariah, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan terhadap minat penggunaan e-wallet DANA pada masyarakat di Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tujuan menguji hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online kepada responden yang merupakan pengguna e-wallet DANA di Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan responden 100 orang di 9 kecamatan kota bengkulu. Data dianalisis dibantu oleh SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan syariah dan kemanfaatan berpengaruh terhadap minat penggunaan e-wallet DANA, sedangkan kemudahan tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat penggunaan E-Wallet DANA. Secara simultan, literasi keuangan syariah, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan berpengaruh terhadap minat penggunaan e-wallet DANA pada masyarakat di Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh iklan digital, influencer endorsement, dan ulasan konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian Cushion Skintific. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan 100 responden di Kota Bengkulu dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa iklan digital dan influencer endorsement tidak berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan ulasan konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, model menjelaskan 65,6% keputusan pembelian (R-square 0,656). Implikasinya, konsumen lebih mempercayai ulasan pengguna, sehingga pelaku usaha perlu mengoptimalkan strategi pengelolaan ulasan dalam pemasaran digital berbasis prinsip ekonomi syariah.

Abstract

The normalization of prohibited financial practices in Muslim communities is a persistent challenge in Islamic economics. Seasonal informal money exchange during Eid al-Fitr exemplifies how Riba al-Fadhl unequal exchange of homogeneous currencies  becomes embedded in collective tradition, exploiting low-income groups and distorting market fairness. This study analyzes the normalization dynamics of Riba Fadhl in seasonal informal money exchange services in Wastukencana, Bandung, through an economic sociology perspective. The research employs a qualitative-investigative approach, adapting norm elicitation via a 2×2 observation matrix manipulating time urgency and social proximity. Results indicate moral compliance is flexible and reconstructed under situational pressures, driven by cognitive dissonance. Norm violations predominantly occur during high-urgency periods, particularly before Eid al-Fitr, and in transactions involving familiar providers. Individuals utilize neutralization techniques employing euphemisms like "service fee" to reduce moral tension. Ultimately, ethical norms are dynamically reinterpreted to meet pragmatic needs, proving that ethical preferences adapt to contextual pressures.
