Abstract

The integration of the Koding and Kecerdasan Artifisial (KA) curriculum as an elective subject by Kemendikdasmen starting in the 2025/2026 academic year urgently requires an improvement in the competence of SMA Informatika teachers in Kabupaten Indramayu in implementing the curriculum. Based on data collection and interview results, it was found that some teachers have not used coding as a main learning topic for quite some time and are relatively unfamiliar with kecerdasan artifisial, so this will positively correlate with the quality of learning. Therefore, this program aims to address this gap through a series of structured activities, including coding material training using the Python language, coding learning exercises via an online judge application, presentation of kecerdasan artifisial material, and coding implementation on a product prototype. The implementation of the program utilized the facilities available at Politeknik Negeri Indramayu as the training venue. The training results showed that all participants felt satisfied with the implementation of the training activities, and the participants' understanding scores regarding coding increased, with an average post-test score of 86.48%. This is expected to be a positive signal capable of strengthening the quality of teachers in Kabupaten Indramayu, particularly in the field of Informatics.

Abstract

The Informatics subject in the Merdeka curriculum is believed to be the answer to improving modern technology competence. Understanding data structures and workflows and producing digital content using digital media are some of the learning outcomes of Informatics in phase D/SMP (middle school) that need to be taught practically and engagingly. One application that can be used to support this learning is Figma. Based on interviews with Board of the MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) TIK in Salatiga, it was found that they require training in the use of Figma. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out to provide training on using Figma for application prototyping and creating digital content such as presentation materials. The training was conducted offline at SMP Negeri 4 Salatiga (Salatiga Public Middle School 4) and was attended by 26 Informatics teachers from various middle schools in Salatiga. This training activity showed that participants already understood and were confident in using Figma in their future learning processes. This was evident from the final assessment of teachers' understanding level, which reached a score of 74.10%, falling into the "Understand" category. The activity also received positive responses from participants, who plan to utilize Figma to support Informatics learning.
