Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Toxic Relationship terhadap pasangan dalam Film “yang Hilang dalam Cinta” melalui adegan-adegan terkait bentuk-bentuk dari Toxic Relationship. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan analisis semiotik. Penerapan model triangle meaning dalam semiotika Charles Sander Pierce, yang melibatkan sign, object dan interpretant sebagai elemen-elemen kuci dalam analisisinya. Peneliti memilih segmen adegan dari film “yang Hilang Dalam Cinta” yang mencerminkan konsep Toxic Relationship melalui penerapan analisis triangle meaning.Hasil penelitian representatif toxic relationship terhadap pasangan dalam film yang hilang dalam cinta yaitu Pertama, Kekerasan Secara Fisik ditunjukan oleh peristiwa atau perbuatan yang mengakibatkan luka dan rasa sakit akibat pukulan keras atau cekikan. Kedua, ditunjukan dengan Kekerasan verbal yaitu Kata-kata yang merendahkan, hinaan, kata-kata kasar. Ketiga, ditunjukan dengan mudah marah dengan kemarahan besar yang mengakibatkan kekerasan fisik dan kekerasan verbal terjadi. Keempat, ditunjukan dengan bentuk posesif dan tidak menghargai privasi pasangan dan selalu berprasangka buruk terhadap lawan jenisnya.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital content, driven by the increasing penetration of the Internet of Things (IoT), has accelerated access to information through the internet. This phenomenon, coupled with the crucial role of social media, has transformed the function of social media from mere social networking platforms into essential tools in various fields, including Islamic preaching (Dakwah). This community service is carried out and organized by Faculty of Social science Bhakti Kencana University in PC. Pemudi Persatuan Islam (Persis) Rancaekek and PC. Persistri Rancaekek in Bandung Regency, as women's preaching organizations actively using social media as a means of disseminating Islamic messages. The training implementation method involves active community participation in problem-solving with a practical learning approach. Through a regional situation analysis, this training is conducted in stages: preparation, face-to-face implementation, and evaluation of community engagement. The implementation, Community service uses Canva application as a practical platform for creating preaching content. Results and discussions cover the application of preaching content creation practices using Canva. The evaluation of community engagement involves pre-tests and post-tests as measures of training success. The results show that it is quite effective in improving participants’ understanding and skills in using Canva for preaching

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi holistik melalui edukasi, pelatihan, dan pemberdayaan komunitas. Program ini mencakup pelatihan penerimaan diri, mindfulness, komunikasi terapeutik, serta pengembangan kewirausahaan berbasis komunitas. Metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) diterapkan untuk menganalisis masalah dan kebutuhan komunitas secara partisipatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta, penerapan keterampilan baru, dan peningkatan partisipasi komunitas, meskipun terdapat kendala dalam memahami materi kompleks seperti teknik relaksasi. Komunitas Cantik2Autoimun (C2A) menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk stigma sosial, penerimaan diri, dan kemandirian ekonomi. Pelatihan berhasil memberikan nilai tambah nyata terhadap penerimaan diri, pengurangan stigma, dan kemandirian ekonomi anggota komunitas. Program ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan multidisiplin yang holistik dalam memberdayakan komunitas penyintas autoimun untuk mencapai kualitas hidup yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The use of social media as a platform for health education is increasingly growing, including in Indonesia. This study analyzes the communication style of the Instagram account @apoteker_rahmato, managed by Pharmacist Rahmato or called “Mat”, using Roland Barthes' semiotics approach and the Communicator Style Measure (CSM) theory by Robert W. Norton. Barthes' semiotics method is employed to uncover the denotative and connotative meanings of signs in educational video content, while the CSM theory analyzes 10 characteristics of the applied communication style. The results show that Pharmacist Rahmato combines the Impression Leaving, Friendly, and Precise communication styles, enriched with Dramatic, Relaxed, and Animated Expressive elements. This approach enables the delivery of accurate, structured, and easily understood health information while building an emotional connection with the audience through a friendly and casual style. His warm and professional delivery successfully integrates health education into light yet meaningful everyday conversations, especially for the younger generation on social media. This study asserts that a combination of formal and casual elements in health communication can enhance the effectiveness of message delivery and eliminate rigidity in medical information

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the TikTok content creator @cantik2autoimun represents the experiences of women living with autoimmune diseases and how the meaning of this illness is shaped through social interactions on the platform. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method is employed, involving four informants selected for their active participation in creating autoimmune-related content on TikTok. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document and content analysis. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and peer discussions, helping to maintain consistency in data interpretation. The results show that, through TikTok, content creators highlight themes of self-acceptance, education on autoimmune diseases, and the social stigma faced by individuals with such conditions. Interactions with followers reveal shifts in public understanding of autoimmune conditions, despite the risks associated with self-diagnosis. This research offers insights into the role of social media in shaping the meaning of chronic illness and providing emotional support and education for the public.

Abstract

In the current era, information can be easily spread widely, this is due to advances in information technology, namely new media. This study analyzes the communication style in accordance with the Communicator Style Measure (CSM) theory, on a a doctor in a YouTube video that discusses bullying and depression. The method used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, which is a method to find out the denotative and connotative signs in a video show. The purpose of this study is to find out the communication style used by a doctor in a video that educates about depression caused by bullying. The results indicate that at the denotation level, bullying is not only physical violence but also verbal, such as teasing that is often taken as a joke. At the connotation level, the term "bullying" reflects domination, social power, and emotional trauma. The doctor adopts a relaxed, informal and expressive communication style to connect with the audience, especially teenagers. The video also exposes the myth that verbal bullying is not serious and that mental health education can only be done by professionals such as psychologists or psychiatrists. With a casual and inclusive approach, doctors are able to deliver educational messages effectively, while challenging the stigma associated with bullying and mental health in society. This research emphasizes the importance of social media as a relevant and adaptive health education tool in the digital age

Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang serius di Indonesia, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Kondisi ini dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan fisik dan kognitif anak-anak, yang berdampak pada kualitas sumber daya manusia di masa depan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas program edukasi pranikah yang diselenggarakan di SMPN 2 Pacet dalam membangun kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan participatory rural appraisal (PRA). Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa edukasi pranikah yang diberikan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai stunting. Penyuluhan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan, tetapi juga mempengaruhi sikap remaja terhadap pernikahan dini. Meskipun seminar penyuluhan ini belum sepenuhnya efektif dalam mengubah perilaku, setidaknya terjadi peningkatan dalam pengetahuan peserta. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya peran pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi sejak usia remaja untuk menciptakan generasi bebas stunting di masa depan. Program ini juga direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara luas di sekolah-sekolah lain sebagai upaya pencegahan dini. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan kerjasama multi sektoral antara pemerintah desa, petugas kesehatan, dan masyarakat dalam mencegah meningkatnya prevalensi stunting.
