Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of playing sand and plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang. This study used a quantitative descriptive type with quasi experiments design, and used the Time Series Design system. The research subjects were 20 young children aged 5-6 years which were divided into 2 experimental groups, namely experiment I with sand games consisting of 10 students and experiment II with plasticine games. consists of 10 students at CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang. Hypothesis testing is done using the Wiloxon Signed Rank Test.Hypothesis test results show that there is an effect of early childhood creativity before and after playing sand games with an average value (0.00 α = 0.021), there is an effect of early childhood creativity before and after playing plasticine games with an average value (0.00α = 0.022), and there is a difference in the creativity of children playing with sand and plasticine (0.00 α = 0.09). The results showed that there was an effect of playing sand on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang with an increase of 21.1%. There is an effect of playing plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang with an increase of 22%. There is a difference in the effect of playing sand and plasticine on the creativity of early childhood in CEMERLANG PAUD Deli Serdang by 0.9%.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the things that need to be considered by communicators and communicants in organizational communication, goals and functions of organizational communication processes, communication as organizational needs and to determine the role of communicators and communicans in organizational development. The problem is focused on how the role of communicators and communicants in organizational life, how communication is needed for organizational development and things that need to be considered by communicators and communicants.  In order to approach this problem, theoretical references from various written sources are used. The data were collected through literature study and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that communication is the most important part in bridging the interests of individuals and their communities. The communication process will tahe place effectively if communication is carried out in two directions, so that there will be reciprocal interaction between the communicators and communicants in the process of delivering a message, using tools or media that are in accordance with the message conveyed.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of Neurofeedback Training in overcoming cognitive and behavioral problems in children with autism. The hypothesis that is done is Neurofeedback Training which is effective in overcoming cognitive and behavioral in children with autism. This study used a Quasi Experiment One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling and the sample in the study was 1 person. The research instrument is a measurement of brain wave activity called Electroencephalography. Data analysis in this study resulted in two types of data, namely quantitative and qualitative. The resulting quantitative data are the results of the scores and graphs of measuring the brain waves of children with autism through Neurofeedback and qualitatively obtained from the results of the assessment using DSM V, the results of parent interview reports, and the results of observations. The hypothesis proposed is that Neurofeedback Training is effective in overcoming cognitive and behavioral problems in children with autism. The conclusions in this study are: 1. Neurofeedback training is effective in overcoming cognitive problems in children with autism, this is indicated by an increase in the Beta value of 13 Hz. 2. Neurofeedback Training is effective in overcoming behavioral problems in children with autism, this is shown by increasing the Sensorymotor Rhytm (SMR) value of 5 Hz. 3. Neurofeedback Training is effective in overcoming cognitive and behavioral problems in children with autism, this is shown by increasing the Alpha value of 18 Hz, the Sensorymotor Rhytm value of 5 Hz and the Beta value of 13 Hz. Based on the conclusion, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. For future researchers who want to research Neurofeedback, they can use a wider range of research subjects in children with special needs with different disorders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel; (2) The relationship between the Democratic Leadership Style and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of the North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel; (3) Relationship, internal locus of control and Democratic Leadership Style with Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit Personnel. This research uses a quantitative approach using instruments, namely the Internal Locus of Control scale, the Democratic Leadership Style Scale and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Democratic Leadership with Organizational Citizenship Behavior in North Sumatra Police Mobile Brigade Unit personnel indicated by a positive relationship between Internal Locus of Control and Democratic Leadership Style with Organizational Citizenship Behavior, this is indicated by the coefficient Freg = 42.451; sig 0.001. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. b). there is a positive relationship between Internal Locus Of Control with Organizational Citizenship Behavior with a correlation coefficient of rx1y = 0.581; sig 0.001; and the weight of the effective contribution is 33.8%. c). There is a positive relationship between Democratic Leadership Style and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a correlation coefficient of rx2y = 0.500; sig 0.001; with an effective contribution weight of 25%. The total effective contribution of the two independent variables to Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 36.6%. d). From these results it is known that there are still 63.4% influence of other variables on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine empirically the relationship between emotional maturity and organizational climate with the employee work procrastination of PT. Surya Madistrindo Area Office Medan. The population in this study were 315 people. This study used purposive sampling technique amounted to 60 people. This research uses a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a valid and reliable questionnaire for emotional maturity, organizational climate and work procrastination. This study was analyzed by means of multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) There is a negative relationship between emotional maturity and work procrastination seen from the coefficient (Rx1y) = -0.609 with p 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity to work procrastination can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.371 or 37.1%. (2) There is a negative relationship between organizational climate and work procrastination which is coefficient (Rx2y) = -0.465 with p = 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity to work procrastination can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.216 or 21.6%. (3). There is a negative relationship between emotional maturity and organizational climate with work procrastination seen from the coefficient value (Rx1x2y) = -0.637 with p = 0.000 0.050. The contribution of emotional maturity and organizational climate to work procrastination is seen from the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.406 or 40.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and subjective well being, the relationship between optimism and subjective well being, the relationship between self-esteem and optimism with subjective well being in the ASN of the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 86 State Civil Servants using the total sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it is found that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. This is evidenced by the calculation of multiple regression analysis, it can be seen with the correlation coefficient value rx1y = 0.895 with p = 0.000. This means that there is a significant positive relationship with self-esteem and subjective well being, the coefficient of rx2y = 0.950 with p = 0.000. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between optimism and subjective well being. Furthermore, based on the results of the analysis, the correlation coefficient value of rX1-X2-Y = 0.965 with p = 0.000 is obtained. This means that there is a relationship between self-esteem and optimism with subjective well being. The total contribution of self-esteem to optimism with subjective well being is 93.1%. These results show through the hypothetical mean of self-esteem (82.5 empirical mean 98.92). Optimism classified as high (hypothetical mean 65 empirical mean 80.50). Meanwhile, Subjective well being is classified as high (hypothetical mean 62.5 empirical mean 72.41.

This study aims to determine the perspective of communication in organizational development. This research discusses organizational development from a communication point of view. This research uses a literature study approach. The results of this study are coordination between individuals and between departments in organizational development requires effective communication so that the message or information conveyed by the managerial has been received by the subordinates, and there has been an understanding between the managerial and subordinates about the goals desired by the managerial and then the subordinates give feedback as expected by the manager

Abstract

Methods of data collection in this study using a brain wave effectiveness measurement instrument called Electroencephalography. The data analysis in this research resulted in two types of data, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Quantitative data is the result of scores and graphs of measuring brain waves of autistic children through Neurofeedback, while qualitative data is the result of assessment using DSM V, observation results, reports and interviews. The hypothesis proposed is that Neurofeedback Training is effective in overcoming communication problems and stress in children with autism. and the conclusions in this study are: 1. Neurofeedback training effectively improves communication in children with autism, this is shown by increasing the SMR value from 3Hz to 5Hz. 2. Neurofeedback training is effective in reducing stress in children with autism, this is addressed through the Deff ratio of the balance between the left brain and the right brain which was initially 15% to 3.5%. 3. Neurofeedback training effectively improves communication and reduces stress in children with autism, this is addressed through the Alfha results of 18Hz, 5Hz Sensorymotor Rhytim value and 13Hz Beta value,  Deff The balance ratio of the left brain and right brain which was initially 15% to 3.5%. Based on this conclusion, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. And for future researchers who want to research Neurofeedback can use more subjects and on different disorders not only in children with autism.

Abstract

communication that creates a positive work climate in an organization in order to achieve organizational goals. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative, while data collection is done through observation and structured interviews as well as other data in the form of related supporting documents. The results showed that communication greatly affects the work environment. In general, this work environment includes the relationship between employees, work relations between superiors and subordinates, between leaders and all employees, coordination between sections to the smallest unit in the organization's members. This communication greatly affects the working relationship or coordination between members of the organization. Poor communication directly affects work relations among members of the organization. A bad working relationship affects the performance of organizational members which in turn affects the productivity of the organization.
