Abstract

Counseling guidance is a place for students to consult in overcoming problems and developing the potential of students. In order for counseling guidance to run effectively, scheduling is needed. The preparation of counseling guidance schedules takes a long time so that it causes increasingly long queues. In this study, the method used in research is Research and Development and the system development method uses Rapid Application Development. A website-based scheduling system that uses the Shortest Job First algorithm was developed to shorten long queues. Average waiting time can be reduced by finding the shortest job first, which solves the smallest average waiting time for various operations. By implementing Shortest Job First it can produce a good counseling schedule with a smaller waiting time thus reducing the level of long queues. The accuracy rate of this system is 98.18% accurate.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is an independent and neutral organization in Indonesia engaged in humanitarian activities. One of the departments within the Indonesian Red Cross is the blood donor unit. The Blood Donor Unit (UDD) of PMI Deli Serdang is one of the Indonesian Red Cross offices in the Deli Serdang district, which deals with social humanitarian activities such as blood donation, volunteer recruitment, emergency response, and others. One common issue in blood distribution is the numerous routes that need to be taken, resulting in wasted time and delayed blood deliveries. Due to this issue, the implementation of artificial intelligence is needed to determine the shortest route for optimal and fast blood delivery. The application of artificial intelligence in problem-solving in the field of computer science has seen rapid development over the years in line with the advancement of artificial intelligence itself. In determining the shortest route, several algorithms can be used, one of which is the Dijkstra algorithm. It is used to solve problems in a graph to determine the shortest route. In the process, the Dijkstra algorithm determines the points that will become the distance weights connected from one point to another, resulting in the desired nodes. Therefore, an application is needed to find the nearest route to make blood delivery more time-efficient. In manual calculations using the algorithm, it was found that the shortest route from UDD (PMI Deli Serdang Blood Donation Unit) to GM (Grand Medistra Hospital) is through the route UDD → A → B → C → D → GM = 0 + 300 m + 250 m + 1,500 m + 35 m + 90 m with a total distance of 2,175 meters or 2.1 kilometers in 5 minutes. Thus, the use of the Dijkstra algorithm can assist in determining the fastest and optimal route for blood distribution, saving time and improving delivery efficiency.

Abstract

The Qur’an is regarded as the source for communication with Allah, while most of Muslims in the world are non-Arabs and could barely speak Arabic, it is becoming a challenge for Muslims to have a deeper understanding of God’s words and deeper connection with Him. By implementing digital game-based learning as an effort to gain traction among the Islamic world, especially in the digital era of Society 5.0, developing a serious game that specialized in solidifying mufradat (Arabic vocabularies) can retain motivation and interest to keep learning the Qur’an by reducing level of stress and boredom, especially Muslim youth living in an age of liberal, this is found to be a serious challenge for the Islamic community to preserve its purity in daily worship. The research method in use is serious game development method, this method fits the unique aspect of a serious game that is comparably different from pure entertainment game development method such as game development life-cycle. Serious game development model involves educational foundations to be a form of game development that orients educational values whilst retaining the fun and engaging aspect of game. The results of this research shown that Qur’anic Arabic serious game using serious game development method is considered acceptable according to the user acceptance test (UAT) indicated by the ratings of 71.57%, this concludes that users found the game to be effective yet engaging to bolster their daily worship and the method being used is effective in implementing game-based learning compared to the conventional game development life-cylce. This result is reliable as supported by Cronbach’s alpha reliability level shown to be reaching 0.954 or is an excellent level of reliability using the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software.

Abstract

The website plays an important role in the educational context, such as in managing the academic system, accepting new students, and other functions. Publications carried out online by utilizing the official campus website can make it easier for parents or student registrants from areas outside the city or even outside the island to find complete information about the desired university. Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto has an online student registration system through a pmb.ump.ac.id website. An agency or organization can suffer losses if the information obtained falls to unauthorized parties, so an information system must have the ability to overcome and stop the desired bad steps. To prevent these events, this research was applied using the Vulnerability Assessment method with the aim of obtaining information on security gaps and vulnerabilities on the new student registration website of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The test results obtained using the vulnerability tool found a number of security holes on the new student registration website of the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Researchers have provided several recommendations to address the findings of security holes that can be used.

Abstract

The background to this research problem stems from the need to understand the impact of service quality, user experience, and user satisfaction in website design for students with low vision disabilities who are taking part in the final assignment guidance process at Brawijaya University. Students with low vision disabilities often experience obstacles in the accessibility and use of information technology. Considering the important role of websites in academic contexts, a proper design must meet their needs. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship between service quality, user experience, and user satisfaction in website design for low vision disabled students during final assignment guidance at Brawijaya University. It aims to determine if enhancing service quality positively affects user experience and satisfaction, while also examining the mediating role of user experience. Data is gathered from 31 respondents, including low vision disabled students and relevant academics from the Disability Service Center, through questionnaires. Participants rate service quality, user experience, and satisfaction using predefined scales, and statistical analyses, including path analysis, are conducted to assess the relationships. Next, a regression test was carried out as the main statistical procedure to analyze the relationship between the variables involved in this research. The results of the regression analysis show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on user experience (β = 0.435, Sig = 0.000) and user satisfaction (β = 0.493, Sig = 0.003). User experience also has a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction (β = 0.397, Sig = 0.001). These findings indicate that improving service quality and user experience has the potential to increase user satisfaction. This research provides valuable insights into service quality, user experience, and satisfaction dynamics in website design for low vision disabled students, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing user experience to boost satisfaction, particularly within disability populations. Practical implications include improving website accessibility and academic support for low vision disabled students, with recommendations for staff training and student involvement in website development. Limitations include sample size constraints and potential lack of generalizability, suggesting the need for future research incorporating qualitative methodologies.

Abstract

The ease of obtaining information and having complete functions in one hand makes an individual tend not to be separated from a smartphone even for a while because the individual has felt dependent on the smartphone function. Excessive smartphone use in children can have a negative impact on their psychological health, especially in terms of aggressive behavior. Excessive use of smartphones can make children more impulsive, irritable, and prone to aggressive actions. Therefore, a system is needed that can detect the tendency of aggressive behavior in children due to the influence of smartphones to prevent the encouragement of aggressive behavior in children that can make these children capable of committing criminal acts and other negative actions using an expert system. The methods used in this research are the certainty factor method and the Bayes theorem method. Bayes theorem is used to classify and calculate the probability value of a child's tendency to aggressive behavior due to the influence of smartphones. While the certainty factor method is used to determine the confidence value of the probability value obtained using the Bayes theorem. The results of this study illustrate the feasibility of the proposed framework in correctly recognizing the tendency of coercive behavior influenced by smartphone use among children. By utilizing Bayes' theorem and certainty factor, it is expected that this research can help in conducting early detection of the level of aggressive behavior tendencies due to the influence of smartphones. Based on the research that has been done, the system successfully detects 3 (three) levels of tendency, namely low, medium, and high with a percentage of 100% with the results of the Bayes theorem and certainty factor calculations showing in class P3 with a combination of CFcombine(CFold_4,CF_13) has a percentage of 94.17% confidence level and judging from the results of the calculation of the certainty factor combination formula above, it can be concluded that, the child has a tendency to High aggressive behavior.

Abstract

Contract employees are individuals who are hired for a specific period of time within a company or organization for a specific purpose. They usually do not have permanent employee status and are bound by work contracts that govern their tenure, salary, and other obligations. Despite not having long-term job security, contract employees often bring specialized skills or experience needed for specific projects. They are often instrumental in handling temporary projects, fulfilling temporary company needs, or filling temporary vacancies. One of the main problems in determining employee contract renewal is the lack of transparency and clear communication from the company. Employees often feel confused or uncertain about the criteria used by management in determining whether or not their contract will be renewed. Lack of clear information can cause anxiety and uncertainty among employees, and impair their performance and motivation. Hybrid Logarithmic Percentage Change-Driven Objective Weighting and Grey Relational Analysis (HLOPCOW-GRA) is an approach that combines two analysis methods, namely LOPCOW and GRA to improve accuracy and reliability in decision making. HLOPCOW-GRA provides an advantage in combining LOPCOW's advantage in handling dynamic data fluctuations with GRA's advantage in analyzing relative relationships between criteria, this approach allows decision makers to gain a deeper understanding of the factors that affect the final outcome. The results of alternative ranking showed that the first place with a GRA final value of 0.1406 was obtained by EM alternatives, second place with a GRA final value of 0.1366 was obtained by SVR alternatives, third place with a GRA final value of 0.1366 was obtained by SVR alternatives, third place with a GRA final value of 0.1406 was obtained by EM alternatives. The final GRA value of 0.1245 obtained alternative ASR.

Abstract

Banknotes and coins are valuable assets that are used as legal means of payment in everyday life. The value of these two types of money has been determined and is printed on each piece of banknote when used in transactions and trade. Even though currently banknotes can be recognized using technology such as ATM machines, these machines are only able to recognize the value of the largest currency owned by a country. Computers require digital images as input to display the information contained therein because computers do not have the ability of the human eye to directly recognize or calculate the objects they see. Therefore, techniques or methods are needed that aim to obtain information from digital images to facilitate human interpretation. This research aims to design a system for detecting banknotes in images using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture, which is a form of deep learning. . The system also integrates image pre-processing using user-based manual annotation techniques in Python program code. Using the CNN method, a test was carried out to detect the nominal amount of money in the input image. Test results using 29 banknote dataset samples and 31 coin money dataset samples show that the two types of money are divided into two classes, namely paper and coins. From the training carried out on banknotes and coins, an average accuracy of 98% was obtained, showing good results. Repetition of the detection process also shows consistent output probabilities. However, there are several denominations of money that show high accuracy values, so it can be concluded that the labeling annotation method is thought to be less effective.

Abstract

PT ABC is a manufacturing company that has been operating for more than 30 years in the packaging industry such as paper bags, inner boxes, corrugated carton boxes, rigid boxes, and pulp molds. Based on several materials needed in the production process, duplex paper is the one that has the most problems due to the nature of the material being easily damaged and also orders being made more frequently than other materials. Delays in deliveries from suppliers, the quality of raw materials being below standard so they cannot be used for production, and unexpected spikes in customer demand are the main problems faced by PT ABC. This often results in excesses and shortages of raw materials in the company and makes total inventory costs unstable. In order to avoid wasteful inventory costs and optimize the amount of inventory, proper raw material inventory control is needed. One effective method for implementing raw material inventory control is Material Requirement Planning (MRP) using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Point Order Quantity (POQ) and Lot for Lot (LFL) techniques. Apart from that, forecasting is also needed to reduce the level of uncertainty in the future by providing estimates of what might happen. So, this research aims to determine the best forecasting method and the most optimal lot sizing technique so that the company's total inventory costs are more efficient. From the data processing that has been carried out, the Moving Average method is the best method because it obtains the smallest error value, while the LFL lot sizing technique is the most efficient with the smallest total inventory costs of IDR 5,040,000 per year compared to the EOQ technique of IDR 31,185,794 and POQ amounting to IDR 23,042,365.

Abstract

Nada Salwa Tour & Travel is one of the service businesses operating in the travel sector. Currently, the existing system faces challenges in acquiring new customers, enhancing relationships with existing ones, and retaining them. To address these issues, Nada Salwa Tour & Travel requires a web-based Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) system that can assist both the company and its customers in fostering good relationships. The objective of this research is to analyze the service relationship between the company and its customers and to design a Sistem web-based Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) system to create better relationships through website features. The author conducted object-oriented design including Use Case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, interface designs, and database structure tables. The result of this research is a Sistem web-based E-CRM system that can help address the existing problems at Nada Salwa Tour & Travel. The testing result of the designed interface using the cognitive walkthrough method with 5 respondents shows learnability at 96.15%, error rate at 1.34%, and efficiency at 94.93%.
