Abstract

This research aims to determine how much influence social media instagram and word of mouth have on purchasing decisions in Youneed Clothes product. The research method used is descriptive and quantitative with the data sources used are primary and secondary data from a sample of 75 customers with data collection techniques by distributing online questionnaires. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, hypothesis testing and analysis of the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the study obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 2,943 + 0.687X1 + 0.184X2. Hypothesis testing using t test shows that the social media instagram variables studied have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with statistical results for social media instagram variables known to be tcount (7.796) > ttable (1.99254) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, for the word of mouth variable, it is known that the value of tcount (1.610) < ttable (1.99254) with a significant value of 0.112 > 0.05, so it is known that the word of mouth variable has no effect on the purchasing decision variable. Simultaneously (F test) the results obtained Fcount > Ftable (72.403>3.12) at a significant 0.000 <0.05. This means that the two independent variables of social media and word of mouth have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable of purchasing decisions. Furthermore, looking at the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.653 so that purchasing decisions can be explained by social media and word of mouth of 65.3% while the remaining 34.7% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of research that are not researched.

Abstract

This research aims to find empirical evidence of the influence of professional skepticism and independence on the performance of auditors carrying out assignments during the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to auditors working at Public Accounting Firms in Semarang City who received audit assignments from 2020 to 2022. The total research sample was 88 respondents. Data analysis in this study used multiple regression analysis, and the data was processed using SPSS version 25. The study found that professional skepticism and independence positively affected auditors' performance in Semarang City during the pandemic. Professional skepticism and independence influenced auditor performance during the COVID-19 pandemic by 31.8 percent. Additional test results by adding gender and work experience as control variables found consistent results that there was a positive influence between professional skepticism and independence on auditor performance during the pandemic. In contrast, gender and work experience did not affect auditor performance in Semarang City during the pandemic. These findings confirm the attribution theory that the performance of auditors in Semarang City is influenced by inherent factors, namely professional skepticism and independence, even though audit assignments during the pandemic were carried out by auditors remotely.

Abstract

The primary purpose of countries, particularly emerging countries, is economic development. Equal economic development in each region of a country is both an aspiration and a problem. Unequal economic development, often known as regional inequality, is an issue in achieving social wellbeing. This research can be used to improve understanding of the factors that drive regional inequality in Indonesia, as well as to develop policy recommendations that the government can apply to minimize inequality in Indonesia. This study employs dynamic panel regression with a cross-section of 33 provinces in Indonesia and a time series of 2012-2022. The method utilized is the Generalized Method of Moment (GMM), which includes the First Different GMM (FD-GMM) and System GMM (SYS-GMM) model approaches, parameter significance tests, model specification tests, bias tests, and model selection. According to the findings of this study, an increase in domestic investment will increase regional inequality by 0.147 percent, reduce regional inequality by 0.775 percent, increase the Human Development Index (HDI) by 0.284 percent, increase agglomeration by 2.602 percent, and increase poverty by 0.146 percent. When all independent factors are held constant, regional inequality decreases by 18.104 percent. Furthermore, the results of this study reveal that all independent variables have a significant impact on regional inequality in Indonesia.

This research was conducted on employees with status as Civil Servants at the Sulawesi River Basin 1 in Manado, North Sulawesi with a total of 149 employees. The Structural Equation Model-Partial Last Square (SEM-PLS) is a quantitative methodology used in this research that employs the causality association method. The study's findings indicate that, first, a transformational leadership style significantly and favorably affects job satisfaction with p-values below 0.05 (P = 0.000 <0.05. Second, employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by transformational leadership style with the p-values below 0.05 (P = 0.004 < 0.05). Lastly, there is a significant positive correlation between employee performance and job satisfaction is also accepted since the value of this relationship is below 0.05 (P = 0.000 < 0.05). Thus, it is envisaged that the organization's management will be able to use and enhance the transformational leadership style to an even greater degree and will also be able to pay closer attention to the performance and working conditions of workers.
