Abstract

Background: Palangkaraya is a city that has a variety of natural beauty and culture. However, the tourism potential in this area is still not fully optimized and managed properly. One of the causes of this is the lack of ownership by the Government regarding the mapping of areas that have the potential to become tourist areas in Palangkaraya City. Therefore a system is needed that can assist the Government in mapping areas that have the potential to become tourist areas Objective: Develop a system that can be used to map areas that have the potential to become tourist areas. The information generated from the developed system is expected to assist the government and the private sector in increasing tourism in Palangkaraya City. Methods: The method used is the application of Location Based Service technology with a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process and Profile Matching methods. Result: The system developed uses 10 criteria with 37 alternatives to produce information related to the sequence of tourism potential levels where the results of the sequence are then displayed on a map to provide an overview of the mapping of tourism potential areas. Conclusion: The system that has been created has succeeded in mapping areas that have tourism potential by applying LBS technology and a combination of AHP and Profile Matching methods. From this system it was found that blood with the alternative code A1 had the highest value, namely 4.295193, followed by A10 with a value of 4.156934 and so on. The test results were carried out by comparing the results of the system with the calculation results, it was found that the results were appropriate.

Abstract

Application-based services are currently increasingly being used, one of which is thesis guidance services for final year students. The process of completing students' final assignments is sometimes difficult to monitor due to the lack of time for supervisors and students to meet. In this research, it is proposed to create an online thesis guidance service system based on an Android application. In the application that will be built, all features will be tailored to the specific needs of users, namely the needs of supervisors and students in providing online thesis guidance services. Therefore, it is proposed to design applications using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. HCD is a method of developing software that focuses on the needs of certain user groups by conducting needs analysis directly with potential users. By using this method, it was found that the application that was built functioned very well and met user expectations, where the level of user satisfaction with the features provided was very good.

Abstract

Background: When the rainy season arrives, the main problem faced is the drying process of shoes due to uncertain weather. Moreover, drying the shoes directly under the sun can reduce the glue's durability and damage the shoes' material. Objective: This research aims to create an automatic shoe dryer that can be monitored online and uses fuzzy logic to maintain a stable temperature to maintain shoe durability. Methods: This research uses the fuzzy Mamdani method with ESP32 as a microcontroller to regulate the temperature stability of the shoe drying box. Results: Sneaker shoes were found to dry at 52% humidity and stable temperature at ± 410C within 82 minutes. Meanwhile, leather shoes dried at 62.9% humidity, and the temperature stabilized at ±350C within 20 minutes. Conclusion: The application of Mamdani fuzzy logic has an effect in stabilizing the temperature; if the drying box is tested without using a controller, the temperature will continue to increase, and the humidity will drop quickly, resulting in shoes not being completely dry.
