Abstract

The construction of cultural diversity in the film “Upin dan Ipin” is very interesting to be analyzed. This research is a cross-cultural understanding research with qualitative approach. The data is taken by internet acces in youtube channel. By applying Hall’s representation theory, this research wants to examine how the representation of cultural diversity is constructed in the film. This research also reveals how the cross-cultural understanding is displayed in the film and what ideology the writer or filmmaker wants to convey to the public, especially children. The results of this study show that the cultural diversity is not only represented through traditional language and clothing, but also traditional parties, arts, and typical foods of each culture. The cultural diversity displayed is the culture of India, China and Malaysia. In cross-cultural understanding, the attitude values ??are shown through greeting of the Chinese called "Pai" or "Soja" and greeting of the Indian or "Namaste". The ideology that the filmmaker wants to convey to the public, especially children, is how cultural diversity should be addressed with full awareness and tolerance to build the unity and create a harmonious life to avoid conflicts between the individuals or community.

Abstract

Making a Test Result Certificate (SKHP), managing SKHP data, Errors in making offline data recaps are very ineffective and time consuming. For that we need a web application that can manage the Test Result Certificate (SKHP) efficiently. The purpose of this research is to build a QR code-based electronic test result letter application at the UPTD Metrology Legal Padang City. The design in this web application uses the waterfall model method, which is a very structural method, where the steps of this method are: the process of planning, analysis, design, and implementation of the system. The architecture in the design of the application for a certificate of electronic test results based on QR code at the Padang City Legal Metrology UPTD uses the MVC architecture (model, view, controller).The main features of this application are: user management, master data management, SKHP data management, online certificate management, and management of criticism and suggestions. The system is built using the PHP framework, which is a framework built using the PHP programming language. By conducting an independent trial of the developed system, it was found that the application of the certificate of test results information can facilitate the making of SKHP, SKHP data management, online certificate management, and management of criticism suggestions.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of media use and the extent of things that affect students' learning interests by using the teacher's audio visual media in conveying concepts, ideas, sciences and experiences to students who can be captured using the senses of sight and hearing so that the goals that have been set aside to learners can be achieved. This research is a quantative study with a type of field research. The subject of this study was grade X students of SMK Ibnu Sina Genteng with a sample of 30 students from 100 population using random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using observations, polls, interviews and documentation. Test validity using product moment formula and test its reality using cronbach alpha formula. While the hypothesis test in this study uses linear regression techniques. The results of the study prove that (1) the influence of Audio Visual Media on students' learning interests in SMK Ibnu Sina Genteng is caused by indicators of student learning interests ranging from feelings of pleasure, student interest, student attention, and student involvement caused by a value of F count = 5,122 with a signification rate of 0.000 > 0.005, then there is the Influence of Audio Visual Media on the Interest of Learning Students alternative hypotheses accepted and zero hypothesis rejected. (2) The extent of Audio Visual Media's influence on learning interests starts from the factor of motivation in, social motivational factors and emotional factors. Obtained through a hypothesis test using a simple linear regression test formula, it was found that there was a positive influence of each variable with the result of variable X regression coefficient of 0.025 of variable Y of 71,718, meaning there was an Influence of Audio Visual Media on students' Learning Interests.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the importance of maintaining character education, especially for children during a pandemic, and to find out how far the role of parents is to help maintain the success of the above objectives. This article uses the research library method by examining library data such as books, magazines, documents, historical stories, or related research objects. This character requires maximum support from the guardians of students when outside of school activities to continue to guide, direct and be a role model to behave and have noble character wherever the students are by adjusting the situation, conditions, and abilities of the child. Learning without face to face using technology is a challenge in itself for educational institutions, teachers, guardians of students, and students themselves, but in the current era, every element is required to immediately adapt and continue to be productive and force themselves to find opportunities and development for the benefit of education itself.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the moral values in the Bidayatul Hidayah book and to determine the relevance of the Bidayatul Hidayah book in the New Normal era. This is because morality is the most important factor that is used as a guide in life, especially in the New Normal era which currently appears various kinds of problems that make it difficult for humans to live life. So to achieve this goal, the researcher uses a qualitative method with a Library Research approach which in finding research data is contained in books and books by using content analysis. The results of this study are the relevance of the book of Bidayatul Hidayah in internalizing morality in the New Normal era and many moral values are found, so they are good to apply in life. such as religious, family, economic, social, and educational fields. Although there are some values that are less relevant to be applied in the New Normal era, such as honoring guests, conducting gatherings, and ta'dzib to a teacher. This is because in this era interaction activities are carried out online and are limited in nature in order to break the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the role of parents in developing early childhood creativity in pandemic times. Where at this time of emigrants children's learning activities are carried out at home. So the role of parents is very important in helping and guiding children in learning activities at home. Especially activities in developing children's creativity. This article uses the library research method by elaborating on books and journals. This article uses content analysis techniques in several books and journals. The results of this article are: the role of parents is to provide freedom of creativity, provide motivation, provide supervision, respect the child's opinions, familiarize children to face challenges. So that this role can be carried out in developing children's creativity at home during this pandemic.

Abstract

Educational psychology has a very important role for an educator as knowledge to understand the characteristics of students. The study of educational psychology is used to analyze students' learning problems. This research is a complement by focusing on the research subject who is a student as well as a student at a boarding school in Bondowoso. Descriptive qualitative as the method chosen to analyze the data. so that the learning problems experienced by students who are also students are obtained. The scope of educational psychology makes it easier for teachers to help overcome these learning problems.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of image media in the learning of class VII wudhu material fiqh at Ma'arif Genteng-banyuwangi Junior High School. This research is qualitative research. The type of research used in this research is field research (Field Resheach) which is directly involved in spaciousness research to obtain information related to the implementation of image media in the learning of class VII wudhu material fiqh at Ma'arif Genteng-Banyuwangi Junior High School which amounts to 2 classes. To find out the validity of data using the source triagulation technique. The techniques used for data collection use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that, The Implementation of Image Media in the learning of Class VII Wudhu material fiqh at Ma'arif Genteng Banyuwangi Junior High School can be seen from the indicators of learning implementation from preparation, implementation of learning and evaluation. Learning to use image media at Ma'arif Junior High School Genteng_banyuwangi includes preparations such as compiling RPP, Prota, Promes and others. Likewise, the implementation of learning using image media and evaluation. All series of learning the implementation of the image media has been effective and innovated in its learning.

Abstract

The aim to be achieved in this study is to determine the Role of Islamic Education Teachers in the Formation of Students’ Morals at Puberty at Tri Bhakti Tegaldlimo Middle School in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. To achieve the above objectives, the researcher used a qualitative research approach, with a descriptive type of research, in the form of data exposure to the location at Tri Bhakti Tegaldlimo Junior High School. The key instrument is the researcher himself. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The data were analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. It can be concluded that the role of the teacher in shaping the morals of students during puberty is as a guide, model (example) and advisor. The role of PAI teacher guidance at Tri Bhakti Tegaldlimo Middle School through habituation activities, namely: dhuha prayer in congregation, reading the al-Qur’an one week one juz, reviewing the book Risalatul Makhid, praying dhuhur in congregation, religious extracurricular hadrah, and khataman al Qur ‘ an. The role of Islamic education teachers as a model (example) with the example of teachers in increasing discipline, namely: time discipline, teachers come to school early and wait for students to arrive at the gate, discipline in dressing (appearance), teachers dress in Islamic, neat and polite, attitude discipline, act and speak polite words, make it a habit to say greetings when meeting. The role of PAI teachers as advisors at SMP Tri Bhakti Tegaldlimo is to provide advice and solutions to both students in general and students who have problems with approaches and provide solutions to always get closer to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of diversity. This plurality sometimes triggers the emergence of various problems related to the existence of social, ethnic and religious groups. Multicultural education can be a solution to the problem of diversity. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the implementation of multicultural education in student teaching and learning activities (2) To determine the evaluation of the application of multicultural education. This study uses qualitative research methods using verbal data, so that it uses observation and unstructured interview technique that is theoretical. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of multicultural education is oriented towards activities carried out in groups or together. These activities are intended so that students develop into tolerant individuals so that they are able to get along with anyone without discriminating. (2) Evaluation of multicultural education is carried out during the learning process which is called process evaluation and final evaluation, which is called outcome evaluation. The evaluation is adjusted to the indicators of multicultural education that have been listed in the lesson plans.
