Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce learning media based on Adobe Flash applications that are valid, practical and effective. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. The results of this study are adobe flash based learning media which are very valid with an average of 84.05%, very practical with an average of 76.5%, very effective with an average of 74% and an understanding of concepts with a value of 74.2. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media based on Adobe Flash application to improve students' understanding of concepts is very valid, very practical, and very effective in supporting the understanding of concepts in heat material, heat transfer and kinetic gas theory.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of availability of teaching materials using a scientific approach, the teaching materials used have not been able to visualize physical concepts that are abstract and the teaching materials used do not encourage students to read and train students' learning independence. The purpose of this study was to produce a 7E Video Cycle Learning Based Module on the valid, practical and effective Material of Kinetic Gas and Thermodynamics Theory. This research is a development research with Research & Development (R & D) approach. The development model used in this development is the Plomp development model which consists of three stages: Preliminary research, Prototype development and Development phase. Video-assisted Cycle 7E learning module on the material of gas and thermodynamic kinetic theory is very valid with an average score of 90.31% with a percentage of content feasibility test of 87.5%, language feasibility of 95% and media feasibility of 70.23%, where practicality by educators 89.2% and 89.4% of students. While effectiveness is categorized as very effective with an average score of 80.92%. From this development study it can be concluded that the 7E video-assisted learning cycle based module on the material of gas and thermodynamic kinetic theory has fulfilled the valid, practical and effective module qualifications to be used as an independent learning material for eleventh grade students of SMA / MA..

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Physics learning equipments based on the Science Environment Technology and Social Approach (SETS). Learning with the SETS approach is expected to encourage students to understand the concepts of physics well, which can be applied in everyday life. This research uses McKenny's model which consists of preliminary, prototyping stage, and assessment stage. To see the effectiveness of the learning device is done at the assessment stage. At the assessment stage, three assessments are carried out, namely, attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment. The attitude and skills assessment was carried out by two observers by completing the observation questionnaire. Knowledge assessment is done by giving physics questions that have been validated by experts to students. This assessment is carried out in stages and each meeting is held in class by the observer. The results of this study indicate that high school physics learning equipments based on Science Environment technology and Social are in the category of very effective so it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

Concentration of learning is one of the vital things in lecturing activities, so distance is a challenge for every student to maintain concentration in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distance between residence and campus on the concentration of learning in the classroom. The method used is to give a questionnaire to students of Biology Education 7C grade. The results of the study showed that in the first and second 5 minutes of learning, students were very concentrated and enthusiastic in learning. Whereas in the third and fourth minutes, students start to lack concentration in learning. The distance of a place to live near, more concentrated when learning takes place compared with the distance of a long house because more time and energy is spent making learning concentration reduced. To overcome this need a break before learning takes place and before learning to do ice breaking activities so that students do not get bored when the material will begin.

Abstract

Android-based learning media is a way to deliver material in the teaching and learning process using Android as a tool, almost all students now have a smartphone, but only used for social media, playing games and sending instant messages such as WhatsApp, very rarely used in the learning process, so it will it is better if the smartphone is used as a learning medium, one of which is by making learning media in the form of applications using appypie. The application in this study contains competencies, teaching materials, sample questions, learning videos, quizzes and verses of the Qur’an related to the subject. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with the development process using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate). This study is to look at the validation of the media application for the independence of student learning.the results of this study indicate that Appypie-based media are valid in language, material and appearance, and can be recommended to support student learning independence

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of scientific literacy of students. One of the causes of students 'low scientific literacy skills is the lack of teaching materials that can shape students' scientific literacy skills. The available teaching materials have limitations to illustrate the facts of the lessons learned in everyday life. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). Based on research and analysis of CTL-based e-module data using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on the ability of scientific literacy, namely: obtain an average value of 4 people validator 88% with a very valid category. practicality assessment of 2 physics educators was 79.33% with a practical category. Practical assessment of 15 students received an average value of 90.26% in the category of very practical, has an average value of 84.79% with a very practical category. Assessment of the effectiveness of scientific literacy of 15 students for e-learning modules in the questionnaire obtained an average value of 88.78% with a very effective category while the test questions on the kinetic theory of gas with 66.6% completeness and in the material thermodynamics with 64.8% completeness with an average value of 65.7%. So it can be concluded that e-module based on Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on the kinetic theory of gas and thermodynamics is very valid, practical and effective to improve science literacy in physics learning class XI MIPA 6 SMA N 15 Padang

Abstract

An analog multimeter mechanical sensor test has been conducted on the design of the ampermeter and voltmeter.Research background of the multimeter damage found in the measuring electronic circuit has burned some of its components but did not experience damage to the mechanical sensor.The research objective is to find out how to predict the voltmeter ampermeter measurement based on the addition of resistance to the analog multimeter mechanical sensor.Based on testing  was found that the amount of electric current that can be passed by the sensor is 163.84uA and the resistance in the sensor is around 1 Kohm.When the sensor is used as a voltmeter by adding Rm in series, it can be determined the voltmeter measurement with the equation 0.1849Rm + 0.1988 (V) with an error of 1.16%.However, when the sensor is paralleled with a resistor, the ampermeter measurement can be determined by the equation 198.81 / Rs + 0.1638 with an error of 0.39%.Large resistance in the meter sensor is not the same there is a difference of 138.56 ohms.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific paper compiled by undergraduate students to complete their education. Many methods are used by students to obtain data or information in the preparation of this thesis. This form of activity is often used by students to obtain data by conducting field research. However, this type of research cannot always be carried out, especially in a co-19 pandemic emergency. Literature research is the right way to produce scientific work. But not all students are ready to do this library research. One reason is that there are no guidelines and examples they can guide to conducting this research. So the purpose of this writing is to provide guidelines for students and lecturers to carry out library research in the field of education.

Abstract

Cream  is one of the pharmaceutical preparations that used topically for  treatment of skin diseases. Candlenut bark has compounds that have inhibitory activities as antibacterial. In this research, a cream formulation was made from the ethanolic extract of candlenut bark. Candlenut bark extract cream has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. Evaluation of cream such as organoleptic, adhesion, homogeneity and obtained good results.

Abstract

The role of this research to be form a student disaster preparedness even earlier. This caused by Padang City is an area that is potentially tsunami to disasters. One of the approximation is integrate the material into tsunami disaster physics learning in high school. This role of research is to developt the physics learning tools by using Inductive and Guided Discovery approach in the matter of wave integrated disaster of tsunami. This type of research is the development of research. Model is a model used 4-D that consist of definition, design, development, and disseminate stage. This research show that high school physiscs learning tool by using Inductive and Guided Discovery approach in the wave matter and integrated tsunami disaster very valid, very practice and effective so it can be implemented on the learning process.
