Abstract

The clean water needs of the community, both domestic and industrial, in the cities of Banjar and Banjarbaru Regency are provided by the Intan Banjar Regional Drinking Water Company in collaboration with PT. Drupadi Tirta Intan who uses the Martapura river as a source of raw water. PAC is a coagulant commonly used in water treatment. PAC influences the size of production costs. This research aims to obtain PAC chemicals that are effective, efficient and in accordance with the characteristics of PT Drupadi Tirta Intan's WTP, so that Syarkawi WTP operators can easily operate the IPA using PAC chemicals when raw water turbidity is high or low. The chemical application process is good, namely the Jartes and Plant Test processes. To compare the parameters of the Jartes test and plant test, the author used the statistical method Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to find out whether the two products had good performance. From the research results, it was found that both PAC products from PT A and PT B could be used as coagulants for the Syarkawi IPA Water Treatment Plant unit, however the level of effectiveness and price efficiency of the products from PT B was better.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on how to apply the Balance Scorecard as a benchmark for employee performance at the Rubber Factory at PT. Nusantara Batulicin PT. Nusantara Batulicin is a private company located in South Kalimantan province in Tanah Bumbu district which operates in the rubber industry, bearing in mind that rubber in the Covid-19 and post-Covid-19 era experienced unpredictable price changes, initially the price of rubber reached Rp. 12,000,- per kilogram to Rp. 2,000,- per kilogram which of course has a big impact on the performance of the company's employees. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the conclusion obtained is that the results of research using the application of the Balanced Scorecard in this research based on the four perspectives are in the good category. The financial perspective regarding the company's sales or income is in the positive category or making a profit from its business results, although in 2019 it experienced a loss but can be improved in 2020 and 2021. The customer perspective in terms of market share is correct, apart from that the company also provides maximum service so that customers feel satisfied and customer retention can be maintained. The internal business perspective from an innovation perspective always provides different innovations so that it can improve the quality of production results. Apart from that, from the operational aspect, the operational process is in accordance with the standards and procedures set by the government.

Abstract

Information about blood types is a crucial aspect that must be known in the medical field, especially in the process of blood transfusion and healthcare services. Identifying blood types is a vital step to ensure patient safety during blood transfusions. In this research, the primary focus is on blood type A+. Blood type A+ is one of the common and sought-after blood types because it can donate blood to individuals with blood types A or AB positive. Blood type A+ can receive blood from donors with blood types A or O positive. One method that can be utilized in the process of identifying blood type A+ is using digital image processing and identification methods with edge detection algorithms. The use of edge detection algorithms on an image will result in the edges of objects in that image. The goal is to highlight the details in the image and improve blurred points in vision that may arise due to errors or effects from the image acquisition process. This research aims to evaluate the capabilities of the combination of Prewitt and Canny edge detection algorithms in detecting inverted images. The image dataset used consists of 10 original images of blood type A+ and 10 inverted images. The research dataset was obtained from the IEEE DataPort website. Based on the analysis of 10 conducted experiments, the combination of Prewitt and Canny algorithms is excellent in edge detection, achieving a high accuracy level of 100%. Therefore, it can be concluded that for this issue, the combination of Prewitt and Canny algorithms is capable of identifying inverted images of blood type A+.

Abstract

Higher education is a dream for parents for their children. However, sometimes due to economic conditions parents are unable to pay for their children's education up to college level. Most children who live in remote areas have the desire to complete their studies, coupled with their achievement skills. Currently, there are many scholarships provided by each region to assist education for underprivileged children with predetermined criteria, including: they must have criteria for academic achievement, parent's job, parent's dependents, income and certificate of incapacity. The aim of this research is to make it easier for related parties to select residents who are entitled to receive assistance in continuing their studies. The method used is the SAW method. The way this method works is to take the Max value to produce a decision. Based on the final results of the ranking, GD received the 1st recommendation with a value of 0.8927, MB the 2nd recommendation with a value of 0.8427, CM the 3rd recommendation with a value of 0.7928, JP the 4th recommendation with a value of 0.7738, SL the recommendation 5th with a value of 0.7738 and lastly WP with a value of 0.426. Thus it can be concluded that the SAW method is able to solve the problem of providing scholarships to underprivileged students.

Abstract

System security is currently very much needed from irresponsible parties who damage and steal data. For this reason, a system is needed that is able to protect and secure data from criminal acts. The aim of this research is to provide data codes and keys using binary conversion using the Continuous BAM method. The Continuous BAM method, namely Bidirectional Associative Memory (BAM), has the ability to act as associative memory or content addressable memory, namely memory that can be called up using part of the information stored in it. Apart from that, the Bidirectional Associative Memory (BAM) Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has 2 layers and is fully connected from one layer to the other, so it is possible to have a reciprocal relationship between the input layer and the output layer. The final results of this research are 6 patterns that are entered into the search process, including number patterns 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 with input vector values of numbers 1 [16,-22], numbers 3 [20, 22], numbers 4 [16,-22], number 5 [20,6], number 7 [24,2] and number 9 [20,18], which do not match the pattern number 7. Requested target [1,-1], result obtained [1,1]. The Continuous Bam method can be used to detect patterns correctly and accurately.

Abstract

 As a company operating in the mining sector, PTBA UPO opens up opportunities for other companies to provide the needs and requirements of their companies. To make it easier to select goods/service providers, a decision support system is needed that will help the selection process more quickly and precisely. The decision support system will provide recommendations according to the desired criteria. Recommendations are obtained using the VIKOR method using criteria in the form of product quality, guarantee and offer price. The Victor method is used because it has ranking results that are closest to the ideal solution. With the lowest calculation result, namely 0, alternative 2 is the best alternative recommended as a provider of goods/services.

Abstract

In the world of service business in the service sector, service to customers is the most important thing to be able to compete with competitors. Things such as services provided by staff, ease of customers in using services, timeliness, as well as recording and making reports are important things in developing a company, including PD. Vika Rental Pangkalpinang. Currently the process of renting a car, returning a car, and making reports to PD.Vika Rental Pangkalpinang is still done manually and the recording process is still written in a book, making it difficult for the rental party to check the data and storing the data is at risk of being damaged or lost. The development of this web-based car rental system uses the FAST (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) model and to develop this system uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools. Results of system development in PD. Vika Rental Pangkalpinang can make it easier for customers to rent a car, access the information they need, and also make things easier for PD. Vika Rental Pangkalpinang in carrying out the car rental transaction process.

Abstract

Prakerin is a guidance, training and learning activity for vocational school (Vocational High School) students carried out in the business world or industrial world which is related to student competencies according to the student's field of work. In general, schools implement vocational vocational internship programs to improve students' skills in their fields. This program is implemented to prepare students to work in the field and also be able to practice the theory they have learned at school. That way, when they graduate, students can adapt more quickly to the world of work in the ISB Atma Luhur computer laboratory. The problem is that the special laboratory assistant, Head of the Computer Laboratory, has difficulty assessing the comparison of some internship students with other internship students to determine whether their performance is the best or not. The calculation of the final score uses the average value method (mean) so that all criteria are considered to have the same weight in terms of importance so that it is not possible to know which criteria are more important. The aim of the research is to apply the AHP method to select the best Industrial Work Practices, therefore it is obtained to determine the criteria weights and student rankings for the best Industrial Work Practices so that they can be used as a basis for decision making and applied by the Head of the Computer Laboratory in selecting the best Industrial Work Practices.

Abstract

In order to improve services to the use of operating services in this case the work of Building Maintenance and Installation or widely known as the Cleaning Service work. PT. Haleyora Powerindo always asks service users to be able to provide performance appraisals that have been determined by the institution for every employee in the service user company. However, the company is currently experiencing problems related to the performance appraisal, because the appraisal is still using the manual method where the branch head has difficulty giving an assessment of employees as evaluation material. In this study the authors will make applications that are expected to provide solutions to these problems. The application design needed by the company, especially for each Branch Unit as an evaluation material, is currently an application that can help support decision making. One method that can be used in this performance appraisal system is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. The results of the SAW calculations are suitable in making a decision to solve the problem of calculating the results of employee performance appraisals. This performance appraisal application can generate performance reports as decision makers automatically.

Abstract

When people are aware of the fulfillment of nutritious food, the demand for foods that are high in protein increases, such as milk, eggs, and meat. This study discusses the prediction of the percentage growth of goat meat production in Indonesia using an artificial neural network using the backpropagation method. This research data was taken from goat production data in 2016-2020. The data is taken from data from the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia. The process uses 6 variables, namely 2015 (X1) data, 2016(X2) data, 2017(X3) data, 2018(X4) data as input data, and 2019(T) data as target data. While the testing process uses 6 variables, namely data for 2016(X1), data for 2017(X2), data for 2018(X3), data for 2019(X4) as input data, and data for 2020(T) as target data. The results of this study are predictions of the number of goat meat production data for the following year and the percentage growth of Indonesian goat meat production.
