Abstract

The development of sports in Maluku in its implementation is always based on Law Number 3 of 2005 concerning the National Sports System, that "Local Governments have the authority to regulate, foster, develop, implement, and supervise the implementation of sports in the regions". This means that the government based on institutional functions is given full authority as a policy maker. The purpose of this study is to describe the extent of the Implementation of Government Authority to the Sports System in Maluku Province. The results of the study found: (1) That the sports policy in Maluku has not been a priority in regional development and in its implementation delegated to the relevant agencies / organizations / federations. (2) The role of the Maluku provincial government in sports development is divided into three scopes, namely educational sports, recreational sports and achievement sports. Guidance on recreational sports and educational sports is handled and managed by the Department of Youth and Sports (DISPORA) in coordination with the Department of Education and Culture (DISDIKBUD), the Federation of Indonesian Community Recreational Sports (FORMI) and the National Paralympic Commission (NPC) Maluku to synergize programs from the center to the center to region. Whereas the fostering and development of sports achievements are bestowed and implemented by KONI Maluku and its members. (3) That the Maluku provincial government provides operational assistance with the APBD, through DIPA SKPD and Grants to agencies / organizations / federations namely achievement sports through KONI, Sports education through DISDIKBUD and DISPORA in coordination with FORMI and NPC Maluku. (4) The Government Oversight Function on the implementation of sports in Maluku is carried out in two ways, namely internal and external. Internal supervision is carried out by sports institutions to achieve consistency between policies and implementation, while external supervision by the Inspectorate and the Financial Supervisory Agency (BPK) to ensure the use of the budget is on target and in accordance with reporting.

Abstract

Physics is the science that studies natural phenomena which observation is one of the most important aspect. Observations were made to study the physical phenomena and, if necessary, measurements can be made using appropriate, easily accessible as well as sophisticated devices. In this study, observation and measurement of a straight motion in a viscometer tube device has been developed. The device is also able to measure viscosity of the liquid (indirectly) using the falling ball method by means of Long Exposure technique. The viscosity of a liquid is essentialy related to drag force that caused by friction between the liquid molecules, which are able to resist fluid flow. Long Exposure is a technique of image acquisition which can preserve information about traces of objects moving at a certain time that might not be able to be captured with the naked eye. The falling ball method is based on a measurement of terminal velocity of the falling ball in a viscous liquid. In the experiments, lightmeter is a solid ball with varying sizes coated with phosphorus paint which was released from the surface of the liquid (glycerin and honey) inside a cylindrical tube. A camera with long exposure feature is placed in front of a perforated disk that serves as a chopper, which are essentially slits for the camera to capture the trajectory of the ball and convert the continuous trace into discrete traces. Using a simple digital image processing and digital image analysis techniques, the traces of the trajectory of the ball can be analyzed and thus we can obtain the data of the position for each time interval, thus the speed of the ball can be observed and the type of the motion can be analyzed (accelerated and motion with constant velocity). The calculated liquid viscosity is 0.7885 Pa.s viscosity with error 6.55% for glycerin, and as for honey the viscosity is 3.9162 Pa.s with precision of 99.98%. It can be concluded that these devices can be used to observe the phenomenon of straight motion with constant velocity and accelerated motion in viscosity tube, determines the value of the viscosity of a liquid with a good accuracy and precision

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information on the constraints of the online teaching and learning process at home as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research use the exploratory case study method and the research approach utilised the qualitative case study method which was applied to obtain information on the constraints and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching and learning activities in junior high school. In this study, respondents were 3 teachers and 3 parents at the Kusu-kusu Sereh Christian Middle School in Ambon. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and a list of questions compiled for interviews was developed based on related literature. The results of this study are that there are several obstacles experienced by students, teachers and parents in teaching and learning activities both online and offline. Obstacles in the online learning process are mainly the lacking technology mastery, the additional cost of internet quota, and lastly the reduced communication and socialization between students, teachers and parents. Obstacles in offline learning are the distance the teacher travels to when visiting the student's residence which is quite far away and the additional work for the teacher in arranging the schedule for student home visits. The same constraints faced in online and offline learning are the existence of additional work for parents in accompanying children to study, and unlimited working hours for teachers because they have to communicate and coordinate with parents, other teachers, and school principals

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the significance of differences in academic supervision by principals on achievement motivation and teacher performance in elementary, junior high and senior high school / vocational high schools in Southeast Maluku Regency. The study population was 136 schools. Teacher samples were taken using a purposive sample technique based on criteria that had 10 years of teaching experience and were certified. The total sample of teachers was 160 people with the following details: elementary school: 52 teachers; Junior High School: 52 teachers; Senior High School: 52 teachers and Vocational High School: 4 teachers. In addition, 6 teachers and 3 principals became participants to be interviewed. Those interviewed did not include the number of samples. This research approach uses mixed methods. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interview guides and study documentation. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, ANOVA 1 lane and qualitative analysis. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the mean of academic supervision and teacher achievement motivation in the three sample groups and there were significant differences in teacher performance in the three samples. Based on the results of the qualitative analysis it was found that academic supervision was carried out without a program, the frequency and intensity of academic supervision conducted by the principal was very less. Supervision of school principals without using standard instruments, and the absence of the results of the analysis of supervision implementation Supervisors still use the bureaucratic-autocratic approach and are not participatory. Teacher achievement motivation is still very dominant triggered by welfare factors. The teacher has shown discipline, not delayed work. However, teachers have not displayed creative, innovative attitudes, independence in work, adaptability and have not reached high performance standards. The results of qualitative analysis of teacher performance variables, it was found that most teachers do not prepare their own lesson plans but copy and paste lesson plans from network sources or other colleagues; teacher copy paste Basic Competencies and indicators exactly as contained in the Minister of National Education Regulation. The teacher does not understand the preparation of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions and also has not been able to compile an assessment rubric. The lesson plans prepared by the teacher are only prerequisites for teaching; so it is only to fulfill formal-administrative demands and not be seen in class performance
