Abstract

Good language skills in elementary school children are an important factor in their academic and social development. This study aims to analyze effective and enjoyable learning styles and strategies in cultivating the language skills of elementary school students. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving five teachers and ten students as participants. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that learning styles and strategies based on language games, the use of picture story media, project-based literacy approaches, as well as interactive and collaborative methods contribute positively to the improvement of students’ language skills. In line with the indicators, students who were involved in language game-based learning showed improvement in vocabulary and speaking skills, while the use of picture storybooks helped enhance reading comprehension. The project-based literacy approach, such as daily journal writing, was also proven to improve students’ writing skills. However, the implementation of these strategies involves limitations in learning facilities, differences in students’ ability levels, and limited instructional time. This study recommends strengthening the variety of learning strategies, improving literacy facilities, and providing support from both the school and parents to create a more conducive learning environment. Through the implementation of innovative and experience-based methods, language learning at the elementary school level can become more engaging and effective for students

Abstract

This study aimed to eval_uate the quality of test items in a science learning assessment instrument designed to measure students' conceptual understanding of the human body system using Rasch model analysis. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed, involving 100 junior high school students as participants. These students completed a conceptual understanding test consisting of 35 multiple-choice items. The Rasch model was applied using Winsteps software to assess item fit, analyze the person-item distribution through the Wright Map, and eval_uate the overall validity and reliability of the instrument. The analysis results showed that all test items met the Rasch model criteria, indicating their suitability for assessing students' conceptual understanding. The instrument provided an item reliability score of 0.85, reflecting strong internal consistency, while the item separation index of 2.38 confirmed its capability to distinguish items based on difficulty levels. The Wright Map further illustrated a proper alignment between item difficulty and student ability, ensuring fair measurement across varying levels of proficiency. These findings confirmed that the developed instrument was valid and reliable, making it a valuable tool for both eval_uative and diagnostic purposes in science education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengetahuan mendalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, self-efficacy, self-regulation, dan disiplin terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kabupaten Karimun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah metode penelitian campuran (mixed method) dengan rancangan menggunakan model sequential exploratory. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Karimun tahun 2025 yang terdiri dari 4 sekolah berjumlah 48 orang. Adapun teknik penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik quota sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada guru Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Karimun. Hasil analisis regresi ganda 1 2 3 4 Yˆ = 4,796 + 0,265x + 0,444x + 0,499x+ 0,480x yang dapat diinterpretasikan semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (X1), Self-Efficacy (X2), Self-Regulation (X3), Disiplin (X4), maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasaan kerja guru Madrasah Aliyah (MA) di Kabupaten Karimun. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh signifikansi 0,000, taraf signifikan 5% atau 0,000 < 0,05

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, dengan penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R diyakini mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut mengundang peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian pada siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, yang mana penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan agustus 2023. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menerapkan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini juga menerapkan desain Quasi Experimental one group pretest-postes. Pelaksanaan penelitian mengikuti sintak dari model pembelajaran LOK-R, yang terdiri dari literasi, orientasi, kolaborasi. Dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa data penelitian yang digunakan berdistribusi normal karena nilai sig. sebesar 0.211 untuk pretest dan 0.144 untuk posttest yang mana nilai tersebut > nilai α yakni 0.05. Selain itu, penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R pada siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya matei sistem gerak, hal sesuai dengan pengujian hasil penelitian menggunakan paired sample t-test, yang mana nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < nilai α yakni 0.05. Berdasakan hasil tersebut, maka disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai meningkat karena pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R pada mata pelajaran IPA topik pembahasan sistem gerak.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di era teknologi telah membawa revolusi besar dalam dunia pendidikan. Perubahan ini memungkinkan kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media e-eval___uasi berbasis gamifikasi menggunakan platform Quizalize yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan eval___uation), serta pendekatan mixed methods (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Pengembangan media dilakukan melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan soal berbasis gamifikasi, pengembangan konten, implementasi uji coba skala kecil terhadap 30 siswa, serta eval___uasi menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil validasi oleh tiga ahli materi dan tiga ahli media menunjukkan bahwa media dinyatakan sangat layak dengan rata-rata skor validasi 4,65. Uji coba terbatas mengungkapkan bahwa 90% siswa aktif selama pembelajaran dan 88% siswa menyatakan media Quizalize membuat eval___uasi lebih menyenangkan. Hasil analisis pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 65,17 menjadi 88,50 dengan nilai t-hitung 13,86 dan p-value 2,54×10⁻¹⁴, menandakan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, media e-eval___uasi berbasis Quizalize dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penanganan produk perikanan yang baik dapat mencegah terjadinya kemunduran mutu pada perikanan khususnya pada udang. Udang vaname memiliki peranan penting pada sektor perikanan di Indonesia. Beberapa indikator dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui terjadinya kemunduran mutu udang vaname diantaranya secara organoleptik, kimia dan mikrobiologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektifitas penyimpanan yang tepat, pada udang vaname pasca panen dengan lama penyimpanan 3, 24 dan 48 jam pada suhu 4 0C. Parameter yang diamati adalah organoleptik, (total volatile base) TVB, trimetilamin (TMA), Total Plate Count (TPC) dan bakteri Salmonella sp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TVB dan TMA pada udang vaname pada penyimpanan 3 jam dikategorikan sangat segar (<10 mg N/100 g), penyimpanan 24 jam dikategorikan segar (10-20 mg N/100 g), sedangkan penyimpanan suhu 48 jam dikategorikan layak konsumsi (20-30 mg N/100 g). Hasil pengujian mikrobiologi berupa pengujian TPC dan Salmonella sp. udang vanamel masih dibawah ambang batas dari SNI 01-2728.1-2006 yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the innovation of contextual learning management models based on local wisdom and their contribution to improving students' English vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 3 Numfor Barat. The research method used was the mixed method, which combines qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, while quantitative data were obtained from the results of students' pre-test and post-test. The results of the qualitative research show that the planning was carried out collaboratively by involving all school components and considering local cultural values. The implementation of learning was conducted by linking English material to the local culture, which increased students' enthusiasm and participation. The eval_uation was conducted comprehensively and provided constructive feedback. Quantitatively, the analysis results show a significant improvement in scores between the pre-test and post-test, with the average score increasing from 25.26 to 61.32. The Paired Sample t-Test yielded a significance value of < 0.001, indicating a significant difference. These findings conclude that the management of the contextual learning model based on local wisdom is not only culturally relevant but also effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery. This model is recommended as an innovative approach in regions with rich local cultural heritage.

Abstract

: The problem in this research is that the level of scientific processing skills in particle motion dynamics is still low. An attempt to overcome this problem is to conduct a practical experiment using the Newton's Law Application Experiment Tool based on an Arduino microcontroller. This study used a quasi-experimental type of study with a non-equivalent post-test control group design. The study sample included Grade XI SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru students in the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 72 students. Data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis based on students' Scientific Process Skills (SPS) criteria scale. The results of this study show that the application of experimental tools applying Newton's law on the Arduino microcontroller platform has the ability to improve scientific pr The average score of students in the control class was in the low category with a score below 54. Abstract

The management of strategy development models in the context of pesantren-based schools plays a significant role in creating meaningful changes across various aspects of education. This study aims to identify and analyze a strategy development model that can be implemented at SMP Az-Zainiyah Nahdatul Wathan as part of efforts to foster change and innovation in education, particularly in addressing the rapidly growing challenges of globalization while considering local wisdom and religious values embedded in pesantren education. This study used a qualitative research methodology with a management approach, which focused on the curriculum integration development model implemented at SMP Az-Zainiyah Nahdatul Wathan. The effective strategy development model involved several stages, starting from the analysis of the internal and external situations of the pesantren, identification of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced, to the formulation of appropriate strategies to achieve educational objectives. This process included the development of a relevant curriculum, the improvement of human resource quality, and the utilization of technology to support the teaching and learning process. Through this study, it was found that the successful development of an effective management-based strategy could strengthen the role of pesantren as an educational institution by producing graduates with high academic achievement as well as strong moral integrity. By implementing this model, SMP Az-Zainiyah Nahdatul Wathan is prepared to face challenges and changes in the global education landscape

Abstract

The printing industry generates chemical waste that has the potential to endanger workers' health and the environment. This study aims to explore occupational safety practices in chemical waste management within the printing industry and to identify challenges in the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) procedures. This research employed a qualitative case study method, with data collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The primary research instrument was the researcher, supported by interview guidelines, observation sheets, and document recording formats. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of production technicians, OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) department heads, and waste management personnel. The data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman technique, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicated that the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical waste management were not yet optimal, and occupational safety training remained predominantly theoretical with limited practical application. In conclusion, there is a need for more intensive practical training, updated and easily accessible SOPs, and enhanced worker awareness
