Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of cultural communities, especially the Celah-Celah Langit Community, in establishing social responsibility in society through the programs they promote. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, which will focus on processing data descriptively to provide an in-depth picture of the phenomenon being studied. The research techniques carried out included field studies through direct observation in the field and direct interviews with members of the Celah-Celah Langit Community. The research results show that the Celah-Celah Langit Community provides a space for expression for the surrounding community through their works of art. Many of these works are inspired by problems close to society, and not only from the themes, but also from the artistic aspects of the performances which are chosen to suit people's daily lives. In its creative process, this community involves the surrounding community, so that the community can be part of the works created and provide aspirations. Community participation in this community helps increase community awareness of current issues. This results in a sense of responsibility to play an active role in bringing about change in society. Thus, it can be concluded that cultural communities such as the Celah-Celah Langit Community play an important role in establishing social responsibility in society through the arts programs they promote.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in history learning in high school can improve the quality of learning and student interest. The integration of digital sources such as e-books, documentary videos, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) makes learning more engaging, interactive, and relevant. This study aims to identify effective strategies, challenges, and impacts of using digital resources in history learning in high school. The integration of social media and digital resources can increase student engagement, enrich their understanding, and improve learning achievement. However, challenges such as technical limitations, content quality, and teacher skills need to be addressed. Investments in technology infrastructure, teacher training, and effective curriculum development are critical to addressing these challenges. A planned and systematic strategy is required for the development of digital learning materials and the utilization of online learning platforms. The use of AR and VR technology can enhance students' learning experiences, while history-based educational games can increase student engagement and motivation. Thus, history learning can be more engaging, interactive, and effective, having a positive impact on student understanding and achievement.

Abstract

Character education is an important element in Indonesia's national education system, aiming to form a young generation who are intelligent and have noble morals. History learning has great potential in shaping student character through the integration of local wisdom values. This research explores how the values of West Kalimantan's local wisdom, such as gotong royong, harmony with nature, tolerance, respect for customs, and local wisdom in resource management, can be internalized in history learning to strengthen character education. The implementation of these values requires a systematic and creative approach from the teacher, using active and participatory learning methods as well as diverse media and learning resources. Methods such as documentaries, field trips, and digital technologies can be used to enrich students' understanding. Continuous evaluation and development are needed to ensure the successful integration of local wisdom values in the educational curriculum. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of teachers in using various strategies to internalize the values of local wisdom in history learning, to strengthen student character education. The provided bibliography provides relevant references to the topic, supporting further research and practical implementation in the field.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the cooperative learning model in the subjects of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKN) and its impact on student learning motivation. The cooperative learning model engages students in small groups to work together to understand the subject matter, building social skills, and increasing engagement in the learning process. The results showed that this model had a significant positive impact on student learning motivation. Students who engage in cooperative learning show increased engagement, a sense of ownership of learning, and confidence. In addition, this model also helps students understand the values of citizenship, cooperation, and social responsibility in the context of globalization. By creating a dynamic, inclusive, and meaningful learning environment, cooperative learning models not only improve academic outcomes but also support students' personal and civic development. This study concludes that the application of the cooperative learning model in PPKN is an effective strategy to increase student motivation and engagement, as well as build important social skills in daily life. Therefore, it is recommended that educators consider the use of this model in the learning process to achieve more optimal results.

Abstract

This research discusses strategies, challenges and solutions in implementing multicultural education in learning Pancasila and Civic Education in Indonesia. These challenges include limited resources and institutional support, which can be overcome through cooperation with higher education institutions, NGOs, and international organizations, as well as the development of networks between PPKN teachers. Support from schools, governments, and communities is also needed to support multicultural education. The purpose of this study is to explore effective strategies in internalizing multicultural values in PPKN learning. The results showed that internalization of multicultural values in PPKN learning is important to maintain national identity and diversity values. Through a multicultural approach, students are expected to understand, appreciate differences, and develop inclusive attitudes and cooperation. Participatory and interactive strategies, such as the use of storytelling methods and habituation of behavior, are necessary in the integration of multicultural values. Support from various parties, the use of diverse media and learning resources, and curriculum development that focuses on multicultural themes are key in internalizing multicultural values. Challenges such as resistance from students or communities that are less open to diversity can be overcome through inclusive, empathetic, and engaging learning methods.

Abstract

As the years increase, the population increases and fossil fuel reserves decrease, there is an urgent need for alternative energy sources that are environmentally friendly, efficient and effective. One promising alternative is to use sugarcane bagasse as biomass fuel for electricity generation. As a sugar cane producing country, Indonesia has great potential in utilizing sugar cane milling waste as a renewable energy source. This research aims to assess the potential of sugarcane bagasse as a fuel for electricity generation and determine the capacity of electrical energy that can be produced from this fuel. In the context of steam power plants, fuel selection is a crucial aspect because it is directly related to the efficiency and performance of the plant. Apart from conventional options such as diesel and coal, bagasse offers an attractive alternative. From the test results, it is known that bagasse has a calorific value of 2370.5 kcal/kg. Analysis shows that good quality fuel can produce up to 2.8 MW of electrical power. These findings confirm that sugarcane bagasse has great potential as fuel for electricity generation that is economical and easy to obtain.

Abstract

One of the disturbances that occur in the electrical network is short circuit disturbances. This interference can be overcome by using an OCR/GFR relay that works with circuit breaker equipment. However, if the relay experiences problems, then when a short circuit occurs in the network, the relay cannot work to secure the installation, and will cause an expansion of the affected outage area. At the Sei Rotan Bay Power Transformer Substation 3, there was a case of sympathetic tripping caused by the OCR/GFR Brand Micom P142 relay on the ST4 feeder experiencing an error and not being detected by the working operator due to the absence of an indication of the error relay, and the result was disruption to the feeder. This caused the Power Transformer Incoming Bay 3 to go out. For this reason, it is necessary to install an unhealthy relay condition monitoring circuit in the cubicle and protection panel. Experiments on installing the unhealthy relay monitoring circuit were carried out in the ST5 spare cubicle. Installing a monitoring circuit in the ST5 spare cubicle can work well by providing a visual indication in the form of an error relay indication light, and also an audible indication in the form of a buzzer which can be heard in the operator's room. Apart from that, installing the unhealthy relay monitoring circuit does not cause problems with the 110 VDC working system in the ST5 cubicle.

Abstract

The use of smart control systems is now very clear and its current use is very broad which is driven by current technological advances. In this paper, we describe the ink protection system on printer machines where d is a means of controlling the ink level where an alarm system is created which is expected in the future. can support the performance needs of printing machines on a large scale. The input given is in the form of an analog quantity and the output produced by the sensor is issued in the form of a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) quantity which is connected to the printer pump via a pipe to pump ink from the ink tube. Currently, many pump machines have automatic settings to determine the viscosity of the ink liquid. The pump referred to here is a pump that uses air pressure as a power source, especially for printing machines, this pump plays a very important role in pumping ink from outside and into the machine automatically, so in this way the operator on the machine no longer moves ink with the risk that the ink could hit the operator. or worst of all, the ink can spill and damage the printing machine's working system.

Abstract

The development of online stores or e-commerce plays a very important role for entrepreneurs who want to market their products easily and get more profits. Dety Pharmacy is a form of business operating in the pharmaceutical sector, precisely located in Medan City. In marketing its products, Dety Pharmacy is still very far from using information technology, so the development of its business tends to be slow. The Web-Based Medicine Sales Information System is very effective in enabling online sales. Design of a Web-Based Drug Sales Information System at Dety Pharmacy using Dreamweaver software, PHP and MySQL programming languages. In designing the information system, several views are displayed which include the administrator page display, pharmaceutical product data, drug brand data, drug category data, print order details, and the shopping cart page. Based on the results of system testing, it can be concluded that designing a web-based drug sales information system at the Dety Pharmacy can speed up the drug ordering process and make it easier for admins to search for data and process data. Apart from that, designing a web-based drug sales information system at the Dety Pharmacy can increase sales turnover and advance the business.

Abstract

The leadership of a company has a big impact on the work motivation of its employees. Leadership is the ability to persuade and guide others towards certain goals. Motivating employees is just one of the many aspects of a business that effective leadership will consider. This research uses qualitative methodology, collecting information through direct observation and interviews with fifteen Agafia Boutique staff members. By using interactive analytical techniques, researchers can study data while drawing conclusions from their findings and reducing the data. Research findings show that leadership at Agafia Boutique has a significant role in increasing employee motivation. Motivation in the workplace can be improved by leaders in a number of ways, including by creating a happy working atmosphere, recognizing the contribution staff members have made to the business, trusting their skills and rewarding them for success. These factors can be a catalyst to increase employee motivation at Agafia Boutique. Motivated employees will have a positive impact on Agafia Boutique, such as increasing company productivity, ideas for innovation will emerge, and the company will experience significant progress.
