Abstract

The tropical tree species Artocarpus heterophyllus (jackfruit), Artocarpus altilis (breadfruit), and Artocarpus camansi (breadnut) are highly valuable for global food security, yet their close genetic relationships often lead to taxonomic ambiguities and misidentification. This study evaluated the comparative macromorphological and micromorphological configurations of these three species to establish clear diagnostic boundaries. Plant materials were collected from Aguluezechukwu, Anambra State, Nigeria, and formally authenticated at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University herbarium. Qualitative and quantitative leaf architecture was evaluated using standard botanical frameworks across twenty leaves per species. Qualitative macromorphological assessments revealed that A. heterophyllus possesses simple, elliptical leaves with entire margins and cauliflorous fruiting, whereas A. altilis and A. camansi exhibit terminal fruiting and deeply pinnately lobed laminas. Quantitative morphometric analysis confirmed that A. camansi yields the highest leaf blade length (70.42 +/- 1.48 cm), width (41.50 +/- 0.55 cm), and petiole length (5.68 +/- 0.49 cm), while A. altilis exhibits the highest lateral vein density (27.60 +/- 0.14). Anatomically, A. altilis produces seedless syncarps, contrasting with the many-seeded fruits of A. camansi and A. heterophyllus. In conclusion, explicit vegetative and reproductive structural variations provide definitive taxonomic markers for these taxa. These findings provide essential baseline data for accurate germplasm authentication, biodiversity conservation, and agricultural selection programs.

Abstract

Handling online orders is a series of order management processes that arise from online customer purchases, from receiving orders, printing shipping labels or packing slips, fulfilling orders, and submitting them to courier expeditions to be sent to the recipient's address. This study aims to determine the procedure for handling online orders at CV Jims Honey Official. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interviews, observation, and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that CV Jims Honey Official has three types of procedures for handling online orders based on the payment method, namely orders with a balance or credit payment method, cash payments, and payments through the marketplace using receipts. The total online orders entered on the e-commerce website https://jimshoneyindonesia.com/ during the study period were 5671. In handling these orders, several divisions are involved, which are also not free from obstacles in the implementation. Still, these obstacles can be overcome to fulfill customer or reseller orders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of UPS design using Lithium ION batteries, automatic smart charging, and monitoring with the Blynk application. This study uses an experimental research design to test and implement Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) that uses Lithium-Ion batteries and Automatic Smart Charging with monitoring through the Blynk application. An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is an electrical backup device in case of a sudden power outage. A modified Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery replaces it with an 18650 Lithium-ion battery, which is parallelized in series to produce the same 12V voltage. DC because this Lithium battery has a longer life than VRLA batteries. In this final project, the author uses the Blynk application to monitor batteries and automatic smart charging, making it easier and more practical. The results of this study state that the tool can operate optimally without hurting the electronic devices tested.

Abstract

In the era of banking digitalization, the number of banking employees has decreased from year to year in line with developments in digitalization and the reduced number of bank office networks. Reducing employees in the banking sector will impact employee performance because the number of jobs is disproportionate to the number of existing employees. Employee performance is an important factor in achieving a good level of productivity in a company. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors that influence the performance of banking employees in Indonesia. Empirical data were collected from 207 conventional bank employees using the online survey method. Analysis method in this study is done by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The results of this study show how workload and job stress negatively affects employee performance, and job satisfaction positively ffects employee performance. The results also found that workload and job stress negatively affects job satisfaction. Furthermore, the results also indicate that job satisfaction mediates the effect of workload and job stress on employee performance. Overall, the results of this study will contribute to the banking sector in preventing job stress experienced by employees to improve employee performance in conventional banks.

Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of higher education, the proficiency in English language skills is increasingly recognized as a pivotal asset for academic success and professional advancement. This study embarks on a comparative exploration to discern the nuanced disparities in English learning needs between two distinct cohorts within the Applied Bachelor of Mechanical Technology Study Program at Polytechnic LPP of Yogyakarta: regular students and employees pursuing education through the employee class. Employing a mixedmethods approach, the research endeavors to unravel the multifaceted dimensions of English language acquisition, encompassing both the scholastic exigencies of traditional students and the practical demands encountered by employed learners. There were 41 respondents consisting of 37 from the regular class and 4 from the employee class. The researcher used questionnaires to collect the data. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The data with highest percentage are presented in the table. Based on the need analysis, the student found descriptive, narrative, recount, procedure and article text in their life. The topics consist of measurement tools, instrumentation, sugar fabrication, tools maintenance, and load tools. Pronunciation and Vocabulary become obstacles in learning English. In speaking activities, they want to have more practice and focus on grammar and pronunciation. The main goal in learning English is to improve their communication skill and career preparation. The role of the lecturer should be interactive with students, become a motivator, and apply new technology and fun learning methods. They prefer to work in group and individual. Online media, book, article, song and movie are their favorite learning source. In general, there are some similarities between regular and employee students' perceptions. The result of this study not only contributes to the academic discourse on language education but also holds pragmatic implications for educational policymakers, administrators, and practitioners vested in optimizing the efficacy and inclusivity of English language instruction within vocational tertiary education settings
