Abstract

The study is aimed at investigating the forms of conceptual metaphors using the word ‘komunikasi’ (communication)in delivering messages. The data were expressions containing the word ‘komunikasi’in communication processes, which were in metaphorical formsand collected from various written sources by applying content analysis technique.The results of the study showed that the interpersonal communicationsconveying messagesrelated tothe word ‘komunikasi’ implying conceptual metaphors can be classified into four domains such as plants, human life, construction and building, and space and time.

Abstract

Qira’ah is one of the four language skills, even it is the biggest intermediaries to get knowledge, either shari'a or general. Teachers in salafiah colleges using classical methods in the teaching of Qira’ah in which teachers are more involved and the lack of attention, activity and creativity of students, so the ability to read correctly the students Less increase. And because the teachers need to be more suitable methods, one of which is a cooperative learning STAD. This research was conducted in ma'had al-uluum ad-diniiyati al-islaamiyyati Samalanga. The population is all students in second class ma'had al-uluum ad-diniiyati al-islaamiyyati Samalanga and the sample was second H class totaling 34 students and second I class was 34 students. The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of using in Ma’had al-uluum ad-diniiyati al-islaamiyyati Samalanga. This research is an experimental research. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning STAD qiraah was effective in improving the ability of students, it can be seen from the t-hitung is bigger than t-table, that is 2.83> 1.99.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the development of teaching materials based on local wisdom on prose appreciation materials, (2) the appropriateness of teaching materials based on local wisdom on prose appreciation materials. This type of research is research and development based on the Borg and Gall development model. The trial subjects consisted of material experts, design experts, Indonesian language education lecturers, and Indonesian language education students. Data about the quality of this product were collected through questionnaires and tests to appreciate prose by writing short stories. The results of this study indicate that: (1) material validation includes content eligibility with an average of 93.75% on very good criteria, presentation feasibility with an average of 91.34% on very good criteria, language eligibility with an average of 95, 19% on very good criteria, (2) validation of design experts with an average of 92.08% on very good criteria, (3) individual trials with an average of 82.50% with very good criteria, (4) small group trials with an average of 90 , 27% with very good criteria, and (5) limited field group test with an average of 94.02% with very good criteria. Thus, the module based on local wisdom on prose appreciation material that has been developed is suitable for use as a learning resource.

Abstract

When BJ Habibie became the head of the BPPT, the idea of establishing a boarding school-based madrasa was based on the basic concept of the integration of Faith and Taqwa (IMAQ) and Science and Technology (IPTEK) called Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia in Serpong, then this model developed to various provinces one of which is Bengkulu Province. The problem is the model developed by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cendikia Insane already running optimally and optimally, the extent of the success of student coaching in the Dormitory at Madrasa Aliyah Negeri Cendikia Insan Bengkulu Tengah. Therefore, this study discusses the evaluation of the management of student coaching in MAN Insan Cendikia Bengkulu  Tengah Boarding House.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with evaluative research type, this research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia Bengkulu Tengah, research data sources consisted of Boarding Trustees and Students. The results showed that all components and curricula of curriculum consisting of Salimul Aqidah, Sahihul Ibadah and Moral Karimah had been carried out well and fulfilled the established curriculum requirements for curriculum. Some of the obstacles experienced by hostel caregivers are heterogeneity of students from various aspects, but overcoming this the manager uses two approaches, namely the regulative approach and the psychological approach.

Abstract

This study is aimed to know the feasibility of interactive multimedia validation data results on folk poetry texts learning. The development of interactive multimedia is focused on folk poetry text material. The students are expected to learn independently through interactive multimedia that has been adjusted by the developer. The research and development population is VII grade students of MTS Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa. The research was using the 4D method, which involves four stages of research: define, design, development, and disseminate. The product of this research results in the form of interactive multimedia development of folk poetry texts is Adobe Flash CS5 media. The results shows that the feasibility of the media and material scored an average of 88.8 % with the criteria of "good" and 86.4% with the criteria of "good" in the development of interactive multimedia on folk poetry text learning.

Abstract

This research deals with Interactive Multimedia Development in Social Sciences Subject of Disaster material in Grade IV SDN.(Public Elementary School) no. 024183 East Binjai on 2017/2018. As a product, interactive media is the result of solving a problem based on an audio-visual communication approach. The design of an interactive multimedia-based learning media is a visual communication design that is displayed through a monitor that can be presented at a certain time. The unavailability of learning media and the relevant learning models to be used because learning is not optimal, so the main focus of this research is the development of interactive multimedia-based learning media as an alternative in overcoming the problem of learning outcomes. This research was conducted from August 21 to November 20, 2017 in even semester at SDN (Public Elementary School) No. 024183 East Binjai having his address at Danau Laut Tawar Street, Sumber Mulyo Rejo, Binjai City, North Sumatra Province. Feasibility of using interactive multimedia on social studies subjects Disaster materials based on the results of validation from material experts and instructional media experts show that the average overall is categorized as "good" and is worthy of being used as social media learning media. The qualifications of Material experts are 82.30% with 84% percentage of guides and information, 81% multimedia material and 82.5 evaluations. The qualification of Media experts are 78% with a percentage of the assessment of each aspect namely 73% guidance and information, 82% operating software and 76% Systematic, aesthetics and media principles. Based on the results of the validation, it was concluded that the interactive multimedia of social studies subjects developed included very good criteria so that they could be accepted and used in the learning process.

Abstract

In the science of sports management, it is explained that the optimal performance of an athlete is inseparable from the application of management functions in the sports organization. The participates in. PASI Pengprov East Java as the organizer of the Pre Pelatnas Training Center should have good management so that all activities run smoothly and succeed in achieving their goals to identify the readiness level of each management function. Training Center Pra Pelatnas PASI East Java Pengprov in an effort to achieve its goals, it is necessary to do an analysis. A fairly good method for analyzing management functions is SWOT analysis.  This study is focused on analyzing and identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in each management function, namely, Planning (organizing), implementation (actuating), evaluation (controlling). The implementation of Training Center Pra Pelatnas PASI East Java Pengprov. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method approach. Sources of research data come from observations, interviews with administrators, coaches and athletes and documents. The data obtained will be analyzed using triangulation techniques, namely data validation by checking the facts obtained from different data sources. The results of the SWOT analysis on management generally conclude that the management process Training Center It can be said that the Pre Pelatnas for the Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI) East Java Provincial Government has been carried out quite effectively in all management functions, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling and has achieved good and appropriate results. However, improvements and proper strategies are still needed to minimize existing weaknesses and overcome threats.

Abstract

In the 2019 general election, the Indonesian people simultaneously elected the President and Vice President and legislative members. The Indonesian people are waiting for who will lead the next five years, especially for the President and Vice President with figures Joko Widodo - Ma'ruf Amin and challenger Prabowo Subianto - Sandiagan Uno. This study aims to determine the perceptions of first-time voters in the two-figure Presidential election in 2019. This study uses a quantitative descriptive study, data obtained from the sample of the study population were analyzed according to the statistical methods used. Descriptive research in this study is intended to get the perception of novice voters at SMAN 5 Surakarta of the presidential candidates in the 2019 general election. There are several things that can affect perceptions about the figure of the President, namely leadership, anti-corruption, welfare, nationalism and change for a more Indonesian state good. All factors are obtained through social media owned by novice voters. Beginner voters in SMAN 5 Surakarta are in the category of critical voters because with knowledge of social media and issues in the media are able to assess whether the prospective leader is eligible to be elected in the general election.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning model SAVI (Somatic Audiotori, Visual, Intellectual Property) to the learning outcomes of students class VII SMP Parulian 2 Medan.This study is based on a theoretical foundation to explain the learning model SAVI, learning outcomes, and Song local area, along with the hypothesis. The research method in this study using an experimental research. This type of research is True Experimental Design with pretest design -Posttest Control Group Design. The population in the study were all students of class VII SMP Parulian 2 field consisting of 4 classes. Sampling was done by random sampling by taking two classes, namely the class VII4 as an experimental class that numbered 30 people and VII2 class as the control class that numbered 30 people. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes is the achievement test in the form of multiple choice numbered 30 and 20 items that have been declared valid for the experimental class and control class that has been tested on VII1 class in junior Parulian 2 Medan.The second class are given a pretest to determine the ability of the student before the beginning of the treatment given in each grade, with an average value of 38.83 experimental class and control class 35.83. then given a different treatment, the experimental class learning model SAVI, and grade control with conventional learning (direct). After learning is completed given postes, obtained postes with an average value of 76.83 experimental class and control class 66.87. Hypothesis test results using a different test (t-test) obtained t> t table so Ha is received, so that the results showed that there was a 15.67% influence learning model SAVI the learning outcomes of students of class VII in Learning Locally in the Junior songs Parulian 2 Medan

Abstract

This study aims is to determine the results of the development of interactive multimedia-based anecdotal text learning modules by students State of Vocational High School 1 of Batang Toru. The module developed is in the form of a digital module. This type of research is development research based on the 4-D development model. With the subject of the trial consisting of design experts, material experts, Indonesian language teachers, and class X students of State of Vocational High School 1 Batang Toru. The results showed that (1) the validation of the material experts included the content eligibility is 88.0% in the good category, the feasibility of presenting is 93.7% learning module Very good category, Interactive Mutimedia aspects is 95.8% very good category, language assessment aspects 92, 5% category is very good, and aspects of project based learning is 83.3% Good category (2) validation of design experts includes initial design is 89.2% with good category, content design is 83.9% good category, digital module typography is 83.3 category good, and 87.5% illustration in good category. (3) limited trials obtained a score is 82.79% with good criteria. (4) Expanded trials obtained a score is 80.04% in the good category. The difference obtained was 13 from before and after using a digital module. This research has implications, namely the module developed will contribute to the practice , especially in the implementation of the learning process for teachers as additional teaching materials to provide convenience to the material being taught can be independent or classical.
