Abstract

It is an indisputable fact that most societies in the world agrees that if a person violates the laws, he/she should be penalized.  However, the variations appear when it involves what sensibly punishment ought to be applied, predominantly for major crimes like murder. Death penalty, which as well referred to as execution or capital punishment, is one amongst these variations which have caused several arguments and debates between its opponents and supporters. Today, numerous countries are attempting to seek out different sanctions for major crimes like life imprisonment relatively to capital punishment. This research tries to take a look at the idea of capital punishment from Kantian and Utilitarian ethics perspectives.

Abstract

In the context of Indonesia where the population is predominantly Muslim (even the largest Muslim country in the world) the views above are very relevant if linked to the political life of Muslims. In the 2009 General Election the UN vote was greatly reduced and could not exceed the 2.5% threshold, so that they could not place their representatives in the DPR RI, in connection with that the UN DPP through the Independent Survey Institute of the University of Indonesia (UI) had done survey to find out the causes, with results: first, the Candidate Figure is unknown or unpopular. Second, party administrators are less well known and not close to the community. Third, programs and issues are not in accordance with the aspirations of the people. Fourth, the image of leaders and administrators is rarely covered by the mass media. Fifth, the performance of legislators and regional heads from the United Nations is not aspiration and less publicized.

Abstract

This research has been done to identify changes in agricultural land to non-agriculture causing the establishment of illegal settlements. Viewed from the standpoint of nature this research is descriptive research, carried out in order to help in strengthening old theories or within the framework of developing new theories. Research locations are in the Office of the Regional Planning, Research and Development (BP3D) Boyolali Regency and Boyolali Regency Agriculture Office. Data collection was carried out by interview and literature study. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results show that agricultural development will occur if land problems over the conversion of agricultural land into settlements are unavoidable or need to find a solution to a problem that is very urgent, this is by studying the impact of the problem and socializing the community over these impacts and their resolution to obtain clarity of land legality the conversion. When land starts to shrink, domestic food needs will decrease because population growth cannot be avoided every year. For this reason, immediate special handling is needed, such as direct counseling for the community. Will be danger of land conversion is carried out continuously. Development of the latest technology is needed to manage the land so that fertility does not decrease quickly so as to reduce land productivity. Another way replacement of agricultural land which is used as an alternative handling of the legality problem of conversion of agricultural land.

Abstract

The aim of this journal is to research the social values on the Novel “Aku Harus Jadi Malaikat” was witten by Zakiah D Aziz’s as teaching material in Senior High School. The methodology research is a qualitative research, but the preparation process is assisted by quantitative research. In qualitative research of instrument is the researcher himself and the method used is descriptive qualitative method, this method is used to analyze, describe and describe the elements that become the center of research. The result is this study can be implemented as teaching materials in novel texts. As well as introducing an author's perspective in writing his work. By paying attention to structures such as themes, characters / characterizations, paths, settings and mandates, so that they can be more easily understood by students.

Abstract

This research is quantitative with the aim of knowing profitability, solvency, dividend policy and its effect on stock prices in the Industrial sector (IDXINDUST) IDX-IC. In the Industrial sector (IDXINDUST) IDX-IC experienced fluctuations in the value of profitability, solvency, dividend policy and stock prices. The sampling technique used slovin with an error margin of 5%. Based on the calculation of the slovin technique, it is known that a sample of 47 out of 54 companies registered in the Industrial Sector (IDXINDUST) IDX-IC. The hypothesis test in this study used the T test. The data in this study included panel data so as to find out the panel data regression and the T test used Eviews 10. Profitability in this research was measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM). Solvency in this research is measured by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). Dividend policy in this research is measured by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that (1) Profitability has a positive effect on stock prices (2) Solvency has no effect on stock prices (3) Dividend policy has a positive effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding and analyzing the role of tourism villages in increasing local people's income. The problem faced is lack of synergy between the local community, local government, and other stakeholders. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive explorative approach. From the results of the study, it was found that tourism villages could open employment opportunities, elevate regional culture, and develop economic potential and welfare of the local community who prioritized populist economy based on local wisdom. From this study it can be concluded that the role of village tourism has a significant impact on local communities, especially can increase family income.

Abstract

The tale of Hang Tuah is one type of old literature. This folklore tells the story of the main character named Hang Tuah who became the commander of a kingdom in a Malay land called the kingdom of Malacca. The purpose of this study is to analyze the psychology of the main character of the tale of Hang Tuah based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. This study uses descriptive qualitative study by analyzing the contents contained in the tale of Hang Tuah by Bot GenootSchap. The data in this study are in the form of behavior carried out by the main character, and the psychology of the main character based on the actions taken. Data sources in this study are in the form of a book entitled the tale of Hang Tuah, supporting primary books, and relevant journals and research as well. The data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis. The results of this study can be concluded that Based on the analysis carried out on the tale of Hang Tuah story script, it can be concluded that the character, Hang Tuah, has a personality that is consistent with what is conveyed in Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, especially in the ego aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the implementation of learning to memorize the Qur'an in early childhood, (2) Analyze the ability to memorize the Qur'an in early childhood, (3) Describe the supporting factors and (4) describe the factors inhibitors of memorizing the Qur'an in early childhood in PAUD Bait Qurany Saleh Rahmany. Research using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used in this study were: interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses the interaction model of Miles and Huberman, with steps : data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of learning to memorize the Qur'an in early childhood is done by using the talqin method, memorization techniques with Jarimatika formula, with visual, audio and kinesthetic patterns, (2) the ability to memorize the Qur'an ' in children, namely the ability of natural talent that is trained repeatedly and optimally until it becomes an achievement, (3) supporting factors in memorizing the Qur'an, namely parent support, interests and talents, and adequate school facilities, (4) factors inhibitors in memorization are the internal factors of the child and the external factors of the child. The results of the research are recommended to be applied in all Paud based on qur'an tahfiz by collaborating on the national curriculum and school-specific curriculum.

Abstract

In the midst of the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has had a severe impact on the health side and has an impact on the world economy. Not a few companies in various sectors have started and survived, whether they are strong or not defending their companies. One of them is the Islamic banking sector. This study tries to examine how the implications of macroeconomic variables on the financing performance and profitability of Islamic banking are influential or not. Macroeconomic variables consisting of independent variables are X1 is inflation, X2 is interest rates, X3 is exchange rate, X4 is GDP, and the dependent variable is Y1 is financing performance and Y2 is Islamic banking profitability.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out Mandailing Customary Marriage Law in terms of Law 16 of 2019. This study used qualitative research. The result of this study shows that That the dowry is part of the marriage custom of the Mandailing tribe, but in practice it has experienced a shift in value. Both from the substantive meaning and in its application. This is indicated by the practice that distinguishes between the marriage dowry to fulfill the provisions of the marriage and the tuor to fulfill the customary provisions. 2. Dowry is a gift from a prospective husband to a prospective wife based on simplicity and convenience. Although the delivery is carried out in cash, there is still an opportunity for the prospective husband to postpone part of the agreed dowry amount. 3. In the marriage agreement, it is very possible that the dowry is included in the category of gifts that can be paid not only in cash. Thus, disputes regarding dowry can become the authority of the Religious Courts.
