Abstract

This study aims to make a technical design for coal mining in the first quarter of 2022 which includes a mining progress design, disposal design. The research methodology includes literature study to find literature references that directly support and relate to mining technical design. Then conduct orientation and observation of the problems that exist in the field. The data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data that has been obtained is then processed and analyzed to produce a conclusion in the form of a mining technical design that meets the coal production target of 135,000 tons/quarter. Mining progress plan is made based on a predetermined production target of 135,000 tons/ quarter of coal. The results of the reserve based on the design in January 2022 obtained overburden volume of 166,637 BCM, coal of 45,348 tons with SR = 3.67: 1, in February 2022 obtained overburden volume of 167,655 BCM, coal of 45.017 tons with SR = 3,72 : 1, in March 2022 obtained overburden volume of 166,541 BCM, coal of 45,127 tons with SR = 3.69 : 1. The disposal design is located 1,893.09 m south of the pit. The total disposal capacity based on the design is 552,763 CCM with an area of 9.72 Ha. The amount of disposal capacity is 2.5% higher per year against the reserve based on the design with the type of embankment applied is the Terrance Dump. The type of Terrace Dump embankment was chosen because the topography in the study area is not too steep.

Abstract

After years of implementing a housing savings program called Taperum there is an inconclusive opinion that this program is deficient. This program, which was launched by the Central Government in 1993 and of which all civil servants were members, was compulsory. They paid a monthly fee that was automatically deducted from their salary. However, the fact showed that vast majority of them did not exploit this program. This study expects to empirically evaluate the factors behind the disappointment of this program to attract members for utilizing it until it was dissolved on March 24, 2018. Later, this program was repackaged into a new scheme under new management. Thus, this study additionally attempts to identify feasible recommendations for improving the viability of the new scheme. Such a program is unmistakably not the first to exist. There are even countries that have effectively managed it, like Singapore. Accordingly, to determine the possible approaches that Indonesia could adopt, comparative method is utilized. Moreover, this study analyzed the achievement factors of Singapore, and their chance of being embraced by Indonesia. Subsequently, it is hoped that this new scheme can be more utilized and valuable to its members.

The main objective of this study was to determine the competitive reaction of middle managers and lower managers of private universities through awareness, motivation and capability (AMC). Data were obtained from middle and lower managers in private universities. The data that has been collected is tested for validity and reliability and then analyzed using a qualitative response regression model (linear probability model). The results of the validity and reliability have met all the required criteria. The results showed that awareness had a significant positive effect on the possibility of competitive reactions, motivation had an insignificant negative effect on the possibility of competitive reactions and capability had an insignificant positive effect on the possibility of competitive reactions of middle managers and lower managers of private universities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Tangerang City International Data Visionet. This research method is descriptive quantitative with a population of 80 employees and drawn as a saturated sample. The analytical method used in this research includes instrument data test, classical assumption test, linear regression test, correlation coefficient along with determination and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, it is proven by a simple linear regression test Y = 20.701 + 0.396 X₁, with a hypothesis test t arithmetic > t table (3,818 > 1,664) strengthened by a sig value <0.05 then H1 is accepted . The work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a simple linear regression test Y = 11,222 + 0.660 X₂, with a hypothesis test t arithmetic > t table (8,464 > 1.664) strengthened by sig value <0.05 then H2 is accepted. Leadership and Work Discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by multiple linear regression Y = 2.461 + 0.117 X₁ + 0.826, the correlation coefficient r is 0.692 which indicates a strong level of relationship. The value of the coefficient of determination R² of 0.489 indicates that the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance is 48.9%. The results of the third hypothesis test are obtained by the calculated F value > F table, namely (36.833 > 3.12) then H3 is accepted.

Abstract

The Problem with television stations between the Master Control Room (MCR) studio and TV Transmitters is that the location difference is quite far, so there are problems in controlling the transmitter station. Required special personnel assigned to the transmitting station. The obstacle that is often faced by MCR is the difficulty in monitoring between the transmitter and the controller studio. Therefore, it is necessary to control and control the Internet of Things (IoT) based centralized. The method used in making this system is waterfall. The system in this case study also has several features or functions that facilitate the management and control of television transmitters, namely in the form of monitoring the temperature of the transmitter engine, adjusting the on and off lights, turning on the air conditioner, turning the TV transmitter on and off. The results showed that all of these systems were connected to the internet through the website as a control and monitor medium, so that the Master Control Room (MCR) section could determine the condition of the TV transmitter.
